I Don't Belong To Such A Stupid World

Alex: So, what about Chris? Anything about her?

Megumin: Hmmm… She is really energetic, and an easygoing person, you two would be friends immediately since she is a really good friend of Darkness.

Alex nodded and ordered some water, the moment he finished the glass, Darkness turned back with a strangely familiar girl.

It was a teenage girl with a light complexion and purple eyes. She has short, silver hair and a light purple ombre of a sort. Her bangs are a bit long at the front of which she has two strands of hair framing her face with a piece of hair pointing out from her fringe. 

She also wears earrings and has a small scar on her right cheek 

Alex: ...Wha-

"Chris" suddenly looked at him and dragged a finger under her neck, making Alex's doubts vanish… She was certainly Eris…

Darkness: Alex, she is Christ, my best friend, and also a Thief.

Chris got in front of Alex and extended one arm, Alex grabbed the arm and shook it, their faces were pretty near, permitting a communication between them.

Chris: Say anything about me and I'll send you to hell the next time we see each other.

Alex: Try me, pads.

Chris: Wha-

Alex let her go and extended one arm over her shoulder, before saying.

Alex: Alright! Now we can go to a dungeon! 

Chris clicked her tongue as she saw Alex's smirk.

After half a day of walk, they were still in the wilderness, god knows how much they walked, when suddenly a solidly built cabin appeared before them.

On the wall beside the cabin, there was a dark cave that seemed to go on forever. The dungeon was named Keele's Dungeon.

Alex looked at the 4 people behind him.

Alex: Alright, I will stay in the front, Chris will be behind me and Aqua will stay at the end of the group, Darkness, you protect Megumin while we are out.

Darkness: Yes!

Aqua: So it will be just the 3 of us?

Alex: Yes, since even though Darkness is certainly stronger than myself, her aim really sucks, and I don't think she will remain in the group, she will probably throw herself to a mimic thinking about how good it would be felt being eaten…

Darkness: N-No! I-I'm not like that…

...Her blush and heavy breathing said otherwise…

Aqua: Now that I think about it, hey Alex, do you have Night Vision?

Alex: No, but I bought some potions for Night Vision before going to the guild, you?

Aqua: Hmph! My eyes have the power to see through everything. My powers have weakened, but I can still see though the dark!

Aqua puffed her c.h.e.s.t out arrogantly, Chris and Alex sighed, before they realized that they sighed at the same time and childishly glared at each other.

Alex: Anyway, Chris, what are your abilities?

Chris: I have Enemy Detection, which could let me sense enemies; 

Steal, it helps me steal a random object based on my luck; 

Lurk, It will let me lurk in the shadows and escape from the danger; 

Bind, it will summon ropes that tie an enemy;

Treasure Detection, it detects treasures;

Escape, it will help me make a quick getaway;

Wire Trap, it helps me making traps with wires as strong as steel;

Detect Trap and Disarm Trap are self explanatory;

Lock Pick, self explanatory too. Now it's your turn to talk.

Alex shrugged and said.

Alex: Summon Weapon, which let me summon weapons and demonic weapons, and I can make them levitate;

Shackle, it increases my defense;

Unshackle, it increases my attack;

The skills cost quite a bit so I don't have many.

Aqua: It's my turn! I have Turn Undead, Sacred Turn Undead, Exorcism, Sacred Exorcism, Create Water…

[Literally 17 overpowered spells later…]

Alex and Chris were looked with slacked jaws at Aqua, who was puffing her c.h.e.s.t proudly.

Aqua: Hehe, now you will never underestimate me…

Alex: How in the name of the The_Auditor can you be so useless even with those skills!?

Aqua: HEY!!

Seriously, this girl could already resurrect dead people and deal one-attack-kill to undeads without the blessing of the Demon King, can create a flood comparable to the universal flood of the bible, reflect attacks, increase every stats, erase spells… And she is being useless as f.u.c.k the entire time!

Not only that, her stats are even already maxed!

And then, Alex shook his head, there wasn't a single situation that those spells could really be useful until now, maybe it will happen now…

Chris and Alex drank a bottle and went inside the dungeon with Aqua. There was an endless row of stairs that extended downwards, and walked on them.

Was there an end? they walked for 15 minutes but they didn't see any other pathway on the way. 

Alex: Jesus, when will we reac-Oh…

They reached the end of the stairs, thanks to Night Vision, the walls and layout of the dungeon were clearly visible, it seemed as if he was looked a thermography.

After the stairs, there was a left and right route, but Alex's sight was concentrated on something else, there was a green silhouette, maybe it's a doll… No, it was a person, but he would at least see his temperature… F.u.c.k, this is a rotting corpse!

Alex/Chris: WAHHH!!!!

However, Aqua just came at the side of the corpse, and said.

Aqua: ...This corpse is about to become an undead monster. Alex, wait for a moment.

After saying that, she mumbled something and then the corpse emitted a faint light… She was probably guiding his soul to the afterlife. Suddenly, Chris disappeared and a monster jumped on Alex.

It was a little green rat-shaped demon, a Gremlin. It bit on Alex's gauntlet, not hurting him. But Alex immediately slammed it on the ground before summoning a normal dagger and stabbing it on the head.

Alex: F.u.c.k…

?: Tch...

He could hear a sound and turned towards the source, seeing Chris walking back.

Chris: Hey there, found anything?

Alex: Nah, just a demon… Let's go on.

Aqua: What happened?

Aqua turned around and saw Alex and Chris look friendly to each other, so she shrugged and turned around.

Alex: Pull more shit and you will see what will happen to you after we leave the dungeon...

Chris: ...You dirty demons are always like this…

Alex: Racist.

Chris: Hmph!

And so, they continued on. Today Aqua was completely different from her usual self, she looked like the holy goddess she should be as she purified the incoming undeads with wide-area spells.

There were many demons too, which were taken care from Alex and Chris.

Aqua: So… Where are the treasures? This dungeon has been explored so many times, so I'm not expecting much either.

They were pretty deep in the dungeon, Chris would remove some traps while leaving others for Alex, who dodged them or destroyed them completely, he was currently on the breaking point, another asspull and he might get those 100 skill points from Eris' body, however, she was pretty popular.

And that might be fatal for him since both humans and gods might hunt for him. But that didn't mean he won't do anything…

Chris let out a smirk as she saw a special trap, and waited for Alex to go in. Like she predicted, Alex stepped on a magic circle, brightening it.

The magic circle was a strange teleportation magic, but Alex glared at Chris and yelled as his arm reached for her.

Alex: I'm going to drag you with me, Bitch!

Chris: Wait wha-

The magic circle brightened the entire room before vanishing, leaving Aqua alone.

Aqua: A-Alex?! Chris!?

She looked around, but there wasn't any trace of them.

[Meanwhile]

Alex slowly opened his eyes and found himself in the cold floor, he sat up and looked around, finding himself in the ground,

Alex: What…?

Beside him there was an unconscious Chris. He stood up and shook her body.

Alex: Hey Chris, wake up.

Chris: Ugh… What?

Chris finally opened her eyes and when she saw Alex, she backed away immediately and glared at him.

Chris: Tch, it's you.

Alex: Shut up and stand up.

Chris clicked her tongue, but she stood up anyway, then she held her enchanted dagger and looked around with Alex.

They seemed to be on the border of a wall, in the middle of a dead forest, the sky was dark, it was night.

Alex found a path and looked at where it end, and saw an entrance.

The entrance was 4 meters tall, it has two wooden doors and was surrounded from enchanted metal bars. Beside the doors, there was a lever with a bone-made handle.

He looked towards the forest, and saw a black mist that he didn't wish to explore, so his gaze was concentrated on the door. Something caught his eye and he saw a symbol on the top of the door.

It was red and it looked like a face, the symbol was made of a pair of red eyes and there were 5 lines that seemed to form a smile with sharp teeth. It was familiar, but he didn't remember where it came from.

Alex: Let's go inside for now.

Chris: Alright…

At least she seemed to agree with Alex...
