I Don't Belong To Such A Stupid World

Once he entered in Battleon, he looked around, he already found himself in the main plaza, where the statue of an armored dog stood on a fountain. In front of him, a bit far away, there was a tall tower, while at his sides there were some rows of buildings.

He first went to left, he continued to walk until he found a place called "Librarium", just beside the magic shop.

When he entered inside, he was greeted from the sight of a really clean library, it was a big and open room with bookshelves places in the walls, at the side, there was a brunette with glasses and with short twintails in a pigtail-style holding a book.

?: Oh, a new customer! Welcome at the Librarium, my name is Maya, I'm the Loremaster of Battleon. I gather records about Lore's(AN: name of the world) past and present.

Alex: Good day, I have some coins I would like for you to see.

Maya: Oh? I will do it!

Then Alex went to her and took out his bag containing his Eris that he took with him, which were about 800'000 Eris.

Maya took out a gold coin which was worth 10'000 Eris and observed it.

Maya: Hmmm, these coins are real, the markings over it are also real and well made… But they would be worth 2 gold coins at most, it is easy to replicate them, even if they require some work.

Alex: Alright… 'Well… At least I have some money...'

Maya: If you are new, I will suggest for you to go to the bank, it is at your right side once you reach the tower in the middle of the town.

Then she went towards the door at the end of the room, and some minutes later, she came out from the door with a red book under her arm and a pen in her hand.

Maya: This is the Book of Lore, it contains every single detail about the known places of Lore.

He looked at the book and took it, then he opened it. The first thing that was shown was the map of the entire Lore, a global map. The continent was shaped like the head of a dragon, with the frozen lands as the dragon's horn and a small fireball-shaped island, which is a volcanic region.

There were several names, each one was representing a region.

Greenguard, Sandsea, Chrono Span, Yokai, Dwarfhold, Darkovia, Doomwood, Oaklore Forest, and many more, but compared to that of the game, there were missing regions.

The island where the saga of Dage the Evil happens, the place where the Throne of Darkness would happen, Mirror Realm, and some other places.

Alex: That's great! Thank you, how much does it cost?

Maya: Well, if you promise me something, I will give it free to you.

Alex was a bit surprised and waited for her to answer.

Maya: If you would come here the next time with updated maps, it would be nice, it is a pain in the a.s.s taking care of the maps without actually going to the newfound place that I was asked to draw out.

Alex: If it's just that then it's fine. For now I will go to the bank, bye.

Maya: Bye!

Then Alex went out from the Librarium and proceeded to go towards the tower, before he turned left and immediately found the bank, which had a quite bizarre entrance.

The entrance was shaped just like a vault door. Alex went towards it and opened the door, inside the bank, there was a man that seemed to be waiting for new people, the man had black short hair and a black beard, and was dressed as a gentleman.

?: Hoho, I see that you aren't from the surroundings. Welcome to the Bank of Battle on! It's the most secure place on Lore to store your gold and items. Also, if you're looking for a bargain before you start your adventure, you found the right person.

Alex then proceeded to show him the Eris he showed to Maya too, and he gained 160 gold coins, which he placed in his Magical Inventory.

After that, he went out of the town and met back with Cleric Joy.

Cleric Joy: Are you ready, Alexander?

Alex: Yeah.

Cleric Joy: Great!

Then she pointed to a portal that was behind a tree.

Cleric Joy: Cleric Dawn sent me here to take you to Swordhaven, where the army of undeads are assaulting the capital, please help us, hero!

Alex scratched his head in embarrassment from being called "Hero", but he just sighed and went in the portal, at the other side, he found a woman similarly dressed to Cleric Joy, but with brown hair, she was probably Cleric Dawn.

Behind the portal, there was the capital that was going on fire and over the castle there was a gargantuan undead dragon flying with a castle on its back.

Cleric Dawn: Swordhaven is under attack by Sepulchure's army of the undead! Quickly… You must get to the castle! Sir Pass waits outside the castle's gate, just down the path to the north.

Alex: Great, I'll go.

Then Alex held Nightmare on his arm and headed hastily to north, taking care of the many undead soldiers and mages in the way.

In front of the gate, there was Sir Pass clutching a wound on his c.h.e.s.t, in front of the open gate.

Sir Pass: Great! Someone capable… Ugh… Anyway, the king is in his throne, please protect him…

Alex nodded and went inside the gate, the first thing he saw was… Artix that seemed to be having fun?

Artix: They are throwing every undead soldier they have at us… It feels like my birthday! I will take care of the ones out here. You must go to the castle and protect the King! Battle on, Alexander!

Alex: Yeah, yeah, I got it! Just don't die on me! [Shackle]!

Chains binded around his body and acted like an armor, it also made Alex faster and he quickly reached for the castle's gates, which was guarded from an undead giant, who was around 4 meters tall.

Undead Giant: Raaaawr!

Alex: Out of my way! [Shrapnel Round]!

He quickly took care of the Undead Giant with a single strike in the head, destroying it with the rotating point of the naginata.

After doing that, he jumped over the small river between the gate and the land where he was, and broke the wooden gate in two, entering inside.

Looking around, he saw that the undeads were already inside the castle, eliminating the other few knights still alive, in the center of the room, there was a woman wearing green leather clothes and using a bow to kill the undeads, Robina, previously known as a huntress, her real name should be Victoria and she was King Alteon the Good's first daughter.

Robina: You must be the one Artix talked about, please, help my f… I mean the King! That "THING" already reached the throne room!

Alex: Already?! Shit!

He rushed towards the throne room, just now he started to think about a scary thought… What if this was the Zombies Saga? He would be f.u.c.k.e.d if Sepulchure really kills Alteon. 

He hastily climbed over the stairs and reached the throne room, whose door already broke down.

When he saw the current situation, he was a bit calm that both Alteon and Sepulchure were still alive.

Alteon the Good, the King of Swordhaven and the symbol of Good, he was wearing a golden armor with a blue long cape, he had blue eyes and a long brown beard, on his head he was wearing a golden crown, and on his hands he was wielding a golden broadsword with a golden dragon's head as the guard of the weapon.

At the other side of the room, against a wall with a big crater on it, there was the other person.

Sepulchure, the personification of Evil, head of the Shadowscythe, a group of undeads and demons put together from Sepulchure with the mission of killing King Alteon, he was wearing a crimson armor with big thorns protruding from the shoulder plates and a dark crimson cape. 

On his head, he was wearing a skull-shaped crimson helm that was covering his entire face, the helm also had a pair of curved horns pointing downwards. He was also wielding a big crimson blade covered in a dark aura with three human skulls on the base of the blade. There were many more interesting facts about Sepulchure, but that will come in a future fanfiction.

Alteon: Sepulchure! Your reign of terror ends with my next strike… I shall unleash the full power of the Golden Dragon Sword and destroy you!

Sepulchure: YES… LET THIS NEXT ATTACK BE OUR LAST. MY DOOM BLADE SCREAMS TO UNLEASH ITS FULL POWER!

After they said that, they rushed towards each other, each one emitting a powerful aura, if those auras didn't countered each other and disappeared, then Alex's legs would have turned jelly now…

But before their blades could clash, a purple explosion engulfed everything in Alex's sight, before a gargantuan pressure slammed on him, suddenly forcing him to kneel down, unable to move at all.

Alec: F.u.c.k… This thing wasn't what I remembered...
