"No its Bing Meifeng's car, she just lent it to me for a while." Tie Zhu explained since it would seem unbelievable that she had just given it to him.

Since it was still very early in the morning, there were currently not many cars on the road. As such, it did not take too long for Tie Zhu to arrive at the gates of Bing Meifeng's residential area. Since he did not have the remote keys to open the gates, he had to dial the bell corresponding to Bing Meifeng's apartment.

"Hello? It's me Tie Zhu, can you let me in?" He asked.

Since the phone call yesterday, Bing Meifeng's mind had constantly recalled the words of the woman she had heard over the phone, putting her in a bad mood the entire night. Although she had told herself that she had probably misheard things, she could not help but think of the worst possibilities. However the biggest reason that caused her irritability was the fact that she did not know why she even cared so much.

Although she had been expecting Tie Zhu to arrive this morning she was not sure how to respond when he finally rang the bell. Because she was still angry, she opened the gates without responding. 'Forget it, ill just wait until he gets here to explain.' She thought to herself.

During this whole time, Bing Meifeng's actions did not go unnoticed by her mother, who noticed a sudden change in her attitude since yesterday afternoon. In fact, that was not the only thing she had noticed yesterday as Bing Meifeng's limping yesterday could not escape her eyes. Although she could not exactly be sure what had happened she had a sneaking suspicion that something serious had happened between Bing Meifeng and Tie Zhu.

'No, that can't be possible. Bing Meifeng isn't that type of person. Furthermore, he was only at the 3rd step of Qi Condensation. It would be impossible for him to even try anything.' She told herself dismissing those thoughts. However this only increased her interest and curiosity of Tie Zhu as she felt that he had been hiding too many secrets.

Not only was he able to cook a meal that had allowed her to overcome her bottleneck, she was actually able to make a significant progress into the 9th step. Furthermore she was extremely shocked to discover that Bing Meifeng's cultivation had actually surpassed her and possibly her father as she too was not at the peak of the 9th step of Qi Condensation. She could not understand how such a thing was possible, and the only explanation she could think of was that it had something to do with Tie Zhu.

It was because of these reasons that Xiao Ling asked Bing Meifeng to contact Tie Zhu as soon as she had finished cultivating yesterday. Not only that but when she also noticed that when she tried eating something yesterday she found that it tasted extremely bland in comparison instantly ruining her appetite. She craved more food from Tie zhu that she did not even bother going back to the villa.

"Don't be surprised when you see Bing Meifeng's mother" Tie Zhu said as he and Tao Keke entered the elevator.

"what do you mean? Why would I be surprised?" Tao Keke asked.

"You'll understand soon.."

*Knock, knock, knock*

It was not long before the door to Bing Meifeng's penthouse opened and a little loli appeared.

"Good morning.. Mrs Bing. Is Bing Meifeng awake?" Tie Zhu asked, unsure of what to call her as he expected Bing Meifeng to open the door. Although he met her mother yesterday their encounter was extremely awkward and he forgot to ask for her name.

"Yes she's just inside, come in.. And whose this? Is this your girlfriend?" Xiao Ling asked as she noticed beautiful young woman standing next to Tie Zhu.

"Cough, uhh this is my best friend Tao Keke, I've known her since primary school. She overheard that I was coming over here to cook for you and wanted to tag along. She also said that she is friends with Bing Meifeng" Tie Zhu replied as he was caught off guard by her sudden question. His response however caused Tao Keke to visibly frown for a few seconds before she regained her composure, although this did not escape Xiao Ling's eyes.

Although Bing Meifeng pretended like she did not care, as soon as she heard her mother mention a stranger that was possibly his girlfriend had showed up her ears immediately perked up as she tried listening in on Tie Zhu response. As soon as she heard that it was Tao Keke and she was his best friend she suddenly remembered the voice from the phone the other day and quickly added things together. 'Maybe I did overthink things...' she though with a sense of relief, however this only lasted a moment as a thought suddenly emerged in her mind.

'What if she likes Tie Zhu as well? She has known him for many years and didn't Tie Zhu also tell me that he likes someone else yesterday? What if this person was Tao Keke..... No. So what! It's not like that matters to me..' she thought with mixed emotions as she tried to regain her calm and frosty demeanor.

It was not long before the three of them walked into the living room, where they saw Bing Meifeng silently waiting, bringing forth an awkward silence as Bing Meifeng and Tao Keke locked eyes as if trying to figure each other out. For some reason, the silence caused Tie Zhu to feel a shiver down his spine as if something terrible was about to happen.

"Ehhhm, I'll leave you all to talk to each other. I'll go prepare breakfast now." Tie Zhu suddenly said breaking the silence, using whatever excuse to leave the oppressive atmosphere.

"Wait, i just have one question first." Xiao Ling spoke, stopping Tie Zhu in his tracks"

"Yes? What would that be?" Tie Zhu asked in confusion.

"Nothing much.. I just want to know if you have a girlfriend already? If not how would you feel about dating my daughter?" Xiao Ling suddenly said with a cheeky grin on her face.

*Puff* *Cough* "What!"
