Episode 25

“Did you destroy the gate?”

Jung-min looked at Jo-won, who was asking him a question.

After looking at each other silently for a while, Jo Won spoke up.

“..It looks like you really did it.

After hearing Jo Won’s words, Jung Min shrugged his shoulders and spoke.

“Well, it’s not really something to hide. It’s not like I’m doing anything bad.”

“I think you better hide it.”

“…Yes?”

Jung-min looked at Jo-won with questioning eyes.

“How do you think I knew this information?”

“Um…well. Were there any witnesses who saw me destroy the gate?”

“That’s right. Someone watched your battle. But it wasn’t our shelter’s personnel. Do you know a shelter called [Pulkang]?”

“Of course I know. Isn’t it a shelter created by the government and the Pearl River Group in cooperation? How many words were spoken until the trial of the gods broke out.”

“I got a call from the [Pearl River] shelter last night. They say they’re looking for someone who destroyed the Holo Gate wearing silver armor and wielding a sword. They checked to see if any shelters had such a person.”

Jeongmin said softly.

“You’re doing such a useless thing. If it were the [Pearl River] Shelter, you’d be quite far from here. How did you see me destroying the gate?”

“I’m not sure, but it looks like most of the gates have scouts. They talked about you last night and congratulated our shelter for destroying the gate.”

“Hmm…they’re in a bad mood.”

“I agree. Naughty, annoying bastards.”

Jeongmin buried himself on the sofa and said.

“So, why should I hide the fact that I am the one who destroyed the gate?”

“Once I know your identity, I will try to contact you somehow. I don’t think the process will go smoothly. I don’t think it’s going to be anywhere else, but it’s [Park River]…”

“How about [Phugang] is it such a sharp reaction?”

“They’re very dirty… and sinister. It’s annoying.”

“Hmm…More than you?”

Jo Won’s eyebrows twitched at Jung Min’s words.

Jo Won hurriedly put his forehead on his forehead to catch his breath before talking to Jung Min.

“…I’m a very good person compared to them. Didn’t you say that it is a place where large corporations and the government come together as one? [Pulkang] is a place where people who are prone to all sorts of behind-the-scenes schemes and conspiracies gather. Do you understand?”

“Hmm…”

Jeongmin said as he crossed his arms.

“If you make a mistake, you can accept it right away.”

At Jung-min’s words, Jo-won said with a pathetic expression.

“Large, or [Pulgang], is more than a large.

I know you’re incredibly strong, but running into a giant shelter is ridiculous. Think about it. [Phugang] No, you don’t even have to go there. What do you think will happen if you fight against a large shelter like [Daesung]?”

“Well..”

At Jo Won’s words, Jung Min seriously thought about it.

Jo Won looked at Jeong-min as if he was dumbfounded.

“What are you seriously thinking about?”

“Do you think anything will work?”

“…Yes?”

Jo Won looked blankly at Jung Min.

“I think it’s going to work somehow. It’s impossible to run into it head-on, but I’m a person who specializes in guerrilla warfare.

‘Well…if it’s dangerous while fighting, I can just run away to the inventory.’

Jo Won narrowed his eyes after hearing Jung Min’s words.

“Since he is the one who destroys the gate alone, there must be some way I can’t think of. There’s a shave, but the bigger difference is…”

“as soon as…?”

“The presence or absence of firearms.”

“Fire…”

Joey nodded and said.

“Your firearms. Did you know that the whole army was locked in the gate as soon as the trial of the gods began?

After hearing Jo Won’s words, Jung-min nodded, recalling the tanks and military trucks that were spread out on the streets.

“Well, it’s not to the point that all the soldiers were wiped out, but honestly, it’s fair to say that the army is disintegrated. But the equipment remains. Most of it is in the [Pearl River] shelter. I know you’re incredibly strong. But even after being shot, it’s fair to say. Will I be able to survive?”

‘Dara getting shot…how is it?’

Jimin thought about it again.

‘My physical stats right now… Including the [Ruunan’s Sword] buff effect, it’s a total of 128. Wouldn’t this be able to withstand being shot?’

“What are you thinking about again? No, you’re going to get shot? You seem to believe in that armor, no matter how much it is-“

“I’ll have to test it out. Can you get me a gun?”

Jo Won’s mouth twitched at Jung Min’s words as he cut off his words.

“Can I get a gun?”

Jo Won stared blankly at Jung Min, then came to his senses and said furiously.

“No, are you crazy? Experimenting? You’re talking about getting shot yourself?”

Jungmin nodded.

“Yes, I’ll have to experiment. I think I need to know how durable my body is. There’s no guarantee that I won’t encounter enemies using guns.”

Jo Won, who stared blankly at Jeong-min for a while, shook his head and said,

“Hah…you can probably get a handgun. I’ve heard that the shelter commander has one or two. I don’t know how powerful it is, but…”

“Then prepare it. Let’s try it next time.”

Joey nodded his head tiredly.

“I will continue to destroy the gate. However, I will take the advice of the personnel officer and move as much as possible so that my identity is not revealed.

‘It’s okay if you don’t take off your armor. Oh, come to think of it… Didn’t I take off my armor in front of the destroyed gate before I came today? If so, maybe someone saw my face. It’s not like I can look it up anywhere.’

Jo Won, who heard Jeongmin’s words, nodded and said.

“Even I will remain ignorant whenever [Phugang] inquires. Well, I don’t think I’ll be able to hide it forever.”

“Yes, let’s stop talking about [Phugang]. Actually, I came today to ask what to do when receiving food at a restaurant. It looks like you’re taking a picture with a bracelet or something…”

“Ah, in that case, you can use this.”

Jo Won took out a bracelet from a drawer and handed it to Jung Min.

“This bracelet is used by charging the number of servings every month. This bracelet has an unlimited number of servings, so you can use it comfortably.”

Jung-min said as he inserted the bracelet into his pocket.

“Hmm. It’s nice because it’s comfortable.”

“Oh, and I prepared the room you said. It’s a small studio in the residential building. Is that okay?”

“Yeah, size doesn’t matter. You wouldn’t live there anyway.”

“Now that this has happened, wouldn’t it be better to officially move into the shelter?”

“Do you miss me so often? Your blood pressure will rise every time you see it?”

“…I’m talking about efficiency issues. If you keep coming in and out of the shelter even though it’s not even the number of people in the shelter, some people will question who it is.”

“Please handle that on your own. I think you should inform the people around you, such as a merchant or mercenary. Once I belong here, there will be restrictions on my actions. I have places to go every evening… I’m a busy person. .”

“Well, whatever. Actually, I asked because I thought he would refuse.”

Jimin smiled and got up from his seat.

“I’ll have to go now. From now on, you’d better not care if I passed through the main gate of Daesung Shelter or not. There’s no guarantee that I’ll come through the main gate.”

“…Okay. The studio I prepared is room 301 in building C, residential area. The password is 0000, so you can change it to the number you want.”

“It’s nice that the work is neat. I’m going. I’ll come again.”

Jung-min said goodbye to Jo-won and left the office and walked to the restaurant.

It was past lunchtime, so I felt extremely hungry.

When Jung-min entered the restaurant, he could see Jun-ki and his family coming out of the restaurant.

Jun-ki’s younger brother, Jun-hee, recognized Jung-min first and welcomed him.

“Jeongmin oppa!”

“Huh? Is Jung-Min here? Oh, who is this? Jung-Min-ah!”

All of Joon-gi’s family came and greeted Jung-min.

Jeong-min greeted Jun-ki’s parents and looked at Jun-ki.

“Have you eaten yet?”

Junki nodded and said.

“Yeah. Today is our day off, so we all went out to eat together and go to karaoke.”

“Is there a karaoke room in Shelter?”

“There aren’t many, but there are also light entertainment facilities.

Joon-gi sent his family to go to the karaoke room first and then told Jung-min.

“By the way, what’s going on? Is everything okay?”

Jimin nodded and said.

“I’m here because I have something to do. Oh, can I have some time in the morning? Should we talk? You must have a lot of questions… Can you come to the residential area C building 301?”

“A residential area? Are you moving into a shelter?”

“No, that’s not it. Can you come anyway?”

“In principle, I can’t move at dawn… Well, am I the ace of this shelter again? I can go. What time should I go?”

“Um… about one or two o’clock?”

“Okay, I’ll see you around half past one.”

Jung-min nodded and said to Jun-ki.

“Okay. Go ahead. Mother and father will be waiting for you. Let’s have fun today.”

“Okay see you later”

Joon-gi patted Jung-min on the shoulder and ran in the direction where the family left.

Jung-min stared blankly at Jun-ki’s back and went into the restaurant to get some food.

Multigrain rice and egg soup. Seaweed, chicken nuggets, and kimchi.

It was a great meal.

After lunch satisfactorily, Jung-min visited the studio he was assigned to.

As I walked along the line on the wall where the road to the residential building was marked, I saw a door leading to the outside.

When I went out the door, there was a notice board indicating the residential area.

‘That’s it.’

At first glance, it is a residential area that looks like a remodeled school annex building.

Jung-min went to the Dong and Lake he had received, opened the door, and entered.

Small bed, desk and chair. And one toilet and shower room.

‘Looking at the 2nd floor, it seems that the toilet and shower room are shared… There is a private bathroom here. great. It’s narrower than the inventory, but let’s make this my second living space.’

Jimin lay down on the bed.

I felt like I was falling asleep as the softness that I hadn’t felt in a long time wrapped around my body.

Jungmin tried to come to his senses and got up.

‘You can’t fall asleep. It’s time to go to Leah in a little while… We have some time left. Let’s do a bit of swordsmanship training that we didn’t do in the morning and go over to Leah-san’

Jung-min stood in the middle of the studio and started practicing swordsmanship.

As I was immersed in training, time passed quickly, and the sun was setting before I knew it.

After Jung-min opened and closed the inventory gate to designate a place to come out, he moved to Leah’s inventory.

Leah’s inventory gate was already open.

In Jung-min’s eyes, who tried to move through the gate and tried to move, Leah, who was bleeding and using a healing skill, was reflected.

“!!”

Jeong-min looked at Leah with very surprised eyes, as it was the first time he had seen her covered in dirt, but it was the first time she had seen her covered in blood.

Jung-min stared blankly at Leah, then suddenly came to his senses and moved to the side of Leah.

“Jungmin!”

Leah, who was using her healing skills, welcomed Jung-min.

“Miss Leah, are you okay? The blood…”

“Ah, are you surprised? It’s not that serious. Don’t worry. It’ll be all right with a little more treatment.”

“That’s fortunate, but…how did you get hurt like this?”

After treating her wounds, Leah moved her body around.

He said to Jeong-min with a satisfied expression, probably feeling that the treatment went well.

“Finally…the Gatekeeper has arrived.”

Jimin’s eyes widened in surprise.

“Gatekeeper? S-class gate’s…? Then…”

Leah replied with a smile.

“Yes, a dragon has appeared.”
