I Reign Supreme

Chapter 13 - Oh Ye Come, For Thou Kingdom, Shall Become

Oh Ye Come, for thou Kingdom Become ;

Arrgghh!

Bobby screamed and covered his face with his hands. 'I can't understand why he'd do that!'

'That boy is… probably dead by now.' Vester who sat and leaned beside a tree, gazing at the moon said blankly.

'How is that helping? 'Cus that is not helping!' Bobby blurted.

'Look, I think we should go back to our training… mantra construction. That's helping.' Vester said again, nonchalantly.

Bobby turned around to looked at Vester who had his eyes shut and sat beside a tree to say to him, 'Maybe for you seeing people die is… is… constant. But for me That's terrifying.'

Hearing Bobby's dissatisfied complaint, Vester peaked at him and replied, 'Okay, I take that back. He's probably getting healed up by some medical Ascender. I mean, if Commander White Bird could survive a backstab, literally, then I also think his good to go.'

'Good to go?! That boy is just as strong as we are. He's nothing compared to the Commander.' said Bobby.

'Look, I don't even get why your so worked up about this guy!' Vester lamented.

'Like I said he's just like you and I!'

'No his not! I don't think neither you nor I would be sane enough to drive our own hands through our c.h.e.s.t.' exclaimed Vester while gesticulating.

The final words of Vester made Bobby speechless and have a rethink and while he stayed silent, Vester supported his stance with his hands on the tree before whispering to Bobby.

'I don't wanna believe you actually dumped our initial training program for this night only to lament about the sanity of an insane boy.'

These wise words of Vester froze Bobby's thought and even stupified his expression and when he tried to comprehend Vester's sentence, he got lost.

The sanity of an insane boy? What's that supposed to mean?

'Look what I'm saying is… let's go back to re-executing everything we've learned so far yesterday from the Commander.'

'Okay, your right.' Bobby nodded.

'Good.' Vester turned around and kept on speaking. 'For all we know mantra is divided into four categories. Which are, Perseus, Heracles, Orion and Zodiac. So far we've only been introduced to the Heracles Mantra Construction. Which grants us physical enhancement abilities each time constructed. Now what we need to learn is how to construct a Heracles mantra, like from earlier when Commander White Bird was backstabbed. She constructed a Heracles mantra and was able to rejuvenate herself.'

Bobby inspected both his palms before speaking in wonder, 'I think what the Commander is trying to tell us is how to protect ourselves.'

Vester nodded and added, 'Early Protection. What good is an Ascender if he can't rise up after losing his limbs.'

'So the question now is, how do you construct a Heracles mantra. Well luckily for me, my farther had that all planned out when he gave me an elementary scroll containing mantra construction.' Bobby brought out a scroll the size of his forearms after explaining.

Hah

Vester snorted and Bobby connected his eyebrows at Vester.

'That would highly be unnecessary.' Vester pridefully stated.

'And why is that?'

'Because I managed to draw some items that spun inside Commander White Bird's mantra.' Vester flippantly replied.

'How's that even possible?' asked Bobby.

'It is… when you stay in the front role.' Vester answered with a smirk.

'It's not possible if we don't know the basics.' said Bobby.

'You're the one with the scroll for elementary mantra construction.' Vester turned around and said.

'I don't thin-'

'Your the one who wants to get stronger! With Commander White Bird's Heracles mantra construction and your elementary mantra construction scroll we could acesnd all'd way up!' Vester enthusiastically commented.

'Hmm, maybe it's worth a try.' Bobby drawly spoke.

'Look, hand over the scroll.' Vester requested and Bobby placed the scroll on Vester's palm. Vester then took out his Psuché paper scroll from his hand bag, squatted and unrolled both the scrolls in front of him.

'Is that psuché paper scroll?!' Bobby asked in surprise.

Vester's eyes dilated in shock and his pupils danced around the circ.u.mference of his eyeballs. 'Yea..! An old friend... gave one to me.'

Bobby shrugged, walked over to Vester and squatted beside him to see the scrolls he laid on the ground. Then after a while studying both scrolls Vester unexpectedly shouted, 'Yes!'

Bobby was forced to glared at him. 'Keep it down alright.'

Vester rose and told Bobby to do so, and after explaining what he understood, soon Bobby and Vester concluded to try out their first mantra construction.

'Are you ready?'

'Yes.'

'Before we know how much progress we're making, we need to measure how strong we are.' said Vester.

'And how are we going to do that?' Bobby asked.

'Maybe if I shove my hands inside you, we'll know how fast you could heal!'said Vester energetically.

'No! No way I'm I letting you do that!' Bobby rawed as he drove his hands sideways.

'Haa! Just kiddin', we'll start with something nice and easy.' Vester laughed and said to Bobby.

Bobby could only harrumph at Vester's expensive joke. 'Which is?'

'I punch you hard in your guts.'

'What?! No!' Bobby immediately re-declined Vester's request.

'What do you mean no? That's the least way to identify how much progress we're making. I hit you real' hard and I see how fast you rejuvenate yourself when you construct the Heracles mantra.' Vester roughly explained.

Bobby agreed after a while of silence, 'Oh… okay.'

'So we know the Heracles mantra is made up of two isosceles triangles and two circles judging from Commander White Bird's mantra. Now what you need to do is construct those shapes to form your mantra after circulating your Mana like your scroll said.'

Bobby narrowed his eyebrows and said, 'Let's do this.'

Sshhh!

When Bobby raised his hands, sparkles of red light began combusting three inches around his wrist and it didn't take up to a minute before his Ethereal Ring manifested. After that, a large scarlet circle spun behind him.

'Yes Bobby! Construct the Heracles Mantra, create the first isosceles triangle!' Vester cheered him up.

Back at Bobby, his expression darkened and he had broken countless sweat already.

Aaagghh! Bobby screamed and constructed his mantra while Vester continued to cheer him up and after a while of struggling, the first isosceles triangle was made so was the second, then the inner circle manifested itself and automatically, unintelligible writings danced around the mantra's circ.u.mference.

'Yes! You did it!'

'Hit me!' Bobby managed to yell.

'Here goes!'

Bgam!

Bluurgh!

Bobby crossed his hands over his lower abdomen and knelt down close to Vester like he worshiped him. When he tried to breath, he choked himself instead and while he choked himself, he coughed out saliva.

'You feel alright?' Vester soothingly asked

'Agh!… Nnhmm!' Bobby murmured.

'You don't sound like what you say.' said Vester.

'I'm… I'm fine.' Bobby managed to mutter.

'Well, the Heracles mantra totally vanished immediately I hit you. Meaning, that pain is going to stay there until you make it go away.' said Vester playfully. 'So c'mon, let's try again.'

'O-okay.' said Bobby as he rose to his feet and recommenced in his stance. Bringing his hands forward, to began to re-manifest the Heracles Mantra behind him. The first circle manifested, then the triangles, and the smaller circle inside and after that the mantra shone brighter than before.

Bam!!

Vester wasted no time to ferociously deep his fist inside Bobby's stomach for the second time, and Bobby wasted no time to almost retch out almost all his innards. The same way Bobby reacted to Vester's initial hit was also the same way he reacted to this. But funnily enough, the Heracles Mantra didn't immediately disappear, instead it fluctuated and made a rumbling sound before disappearing.

'Yes Bobby, we're almost there. Few more tries and you'll be healing yourself the instant you get beat up!' exclaimed Vester.

'Heal myself after I get beat up? Are you doing this to encourage me more on fighting? Or you think I'm doing this because I like making a fool out of MYSELF?!'

Bgam!! Bobby unexpectedly rose up after shouting and landed an unforeseen blow to the core of Vester's face which sent Vester swimming five metres away from land and levelling two trees in his path but was stopped by the third tree after he inscribed his body print on it.

Far away from the confines of land laid the vast ocean which from ashore seemed endless. Enveloped by this ocean was an island so small it would take more than just a Titanic to unveil its location. Despite only being able to match up a town in size, the clout and resources this island had was more than a enough to vanquish a continent at whole.

Shore to shore, one thing remained unchangeable; it was made of pure gold and silver. Every inch of this island were guarded by knights on plain golden armours. The villagers had come to use this resource as a item of legal exchange. Pieces of gold exchanged for services rendered and goods bought. Even to the extent plebeians were adorned with l.u.s.trous golden ornaments.

Inside a temple-like building made of gold and silver, were enormous pillars built to the top could not be seen, there was a man, in light blue blue banded mail seated on a majestic throne.

Same red hair, same olive skin and same silver-pale eyes as Vester, only he was much older than him, assuming early thirties. But lurking in the shadow of a pillar was the counterfeit of this man, a teenage boy who for some reason couldn't understand why he was here nor how his older self sat on a throne.

'What the-?' whispered Vester.

Dum! Dum!

A knock reverberated down the hall and two golden armoured guards opened the twenty feet door for a lady in her late twenties wearing almost the same overall attire as the man on the throne.

'Long live the Almighty.' she said respectfully and bowed 90°.

'How much time till Gorhlem's redemption?' he asked in a deep unworldly voice.

'My Lord, a kingdom of such would take more than a night to triumph. Considering thier size and countless experts.' she answered respectfully.

'It wouldn't be so, if I were to go down there.' he drawly said.

'Forgive me my Lord, but you going there would only cause hysterical panic for both our armies and our enemy's.'

'Tell Gorhlem to surrender. I do not want to get up from my throne.'

'Yes my Lord, please be at ease.' the lady said and walked out from the hall.

'Wait.' he said.

The lady turned around inquisitively. What could possibly be bothering a Man-God? 'Yes my Lord?'

'Do you think it's possible. To unite all nations of the world under me?' his voice was calm and deep but yet it fluctuated a bit.

The lady could only smile and answer,

'Oh ye come, for thou Kingdom shall soon become.' after which, she bowed and left.

The man remained silent after a while as if he pondered on the lady's last words. Vester kept looking at this counterfeit of his in shock. As if the man knew, he looked at Vester and his lips curled up to a smile, he waved his hands and Vester was pulled by a force straight into a twirling abyssal hole.
