I Shall Be Happy

(MC's POV)

I felt something trespassing my territory. There are 3 different signs of life. It feels... too ominous. I don't think this is the Dr. Yeager that Karl was talking about.

"I felt three people approaching home, Mr. Ackermann. I don't think this is Dr. Yeager. They don't have a good intention."

I looked at him for a moment before running off on my own.

(3rd person)

Outside of the residence, 3 figures could be seen.

"OPEN THE GODDAMN DOOR!!!" A tall man with an ax yelled. After hearing someone screaming something inside the house, he knew that their cover was busted.

BAM!! He swung down the ax at the door, making a loud noise. The ax made a large nick on the old door, but it was still standing strong.

"DAMN BASTARD! STOP! SMASH THE F.U.C.K.I.N.G WINDOW!" A shorter man who seemed to be the leader screamed at the tall man

"The ax is stuck! Wait a bit." After saying that, he pulled the ax out with all his might. Despite the door being a bit old, it was still strongly reinforced and its age only causes the ax to be stuck in further.

"Just leave it! We need to do it fast before her husband comes home! They got a rifle!" The leader angrily said.

The 3 figures were now approaching the window.

Meanwhile inside the house

"GO TO THE BEDROOM MIKASA!" Mikan cried out loud at her daughter. Using the adrenaline rush in her body, she moved the table with her small frame to block the small entrance of the living room to the bedroom.

"RUN MIKASA, GET IN THERE!!!" Despite not having any special strength in her body, her motherly instinct provided an ample amount of energy for her to position the door within a short period of time. Then she ran quickly to the bedroom, not minding how much her muscles are screaming in pain.

She closed the door shut.
