I Swear My Magic Is Not Dangerous

'Ehemm! My name is Glen Friz Hart, I have many nick name given to me since my time in High School. Such as, a defect, failure, trash, weakling, insect, etc. And now I have been given another name, it was a rather shameful name! It was so shameful that I wish I could die!'

"Serve you right you scoundrel!"

A Red haired beauty said with a demon like expression on the side of Glen's bed. He was so frightened and surprised at the same time, it was no wonder that he find her voice to be familiar.

When the pain on his head and neck recided, he rolled his eyes to the right side of the bed, and found that the one who smacked his head is not a nurse but, a red haired beauty that have been fighting with the Lady Queen.

His weak soul almost jump to the heaven! When he saw her glaring and demon like expression from the anger. His mouth opened with a 'O' and his eyes almost popped up form it's socket.

Glen could not think of anything else but to run away from shame. '…. F*ck shit I'm screwed..' when he think that he was going to be beaten again, he heard her charming voice asking him.

"Hey… Scoundrel… Are you all right?" Karen tried to calm her anger and asked with some worries.

"Ahh.. umm.. Y-yeah.. I think." He didn't know how to response to her. He was feeling embarrassed and guilty.

But when she asked that question, it made him focused a bit and entered another daze. He pondered and rotated his brain to think about his Magic Core. 'She is near.. but why… that warm like energy didn't enter his body again.? Just what is causing it?'

Glen forgot that she was beside him and entered his own world to think about his condition. His eyes looked blank and his expression froze with indifferent.

Glen didn't know that by doing that, it is nothing but courting death! The vein on the young and charming lady beside him started to pop up. Her face looked so dark and frightening!

'T-this bastard… I asked him out of kindness and look… look what he's doing… this hateful scoundrel... Pervert... Beast... Bastard…' Karen keep cursing at him in her mind and her furry level keep raising to the heaven.

Her hands twitched and she smacked him again, this time she was a bit mindful and only smacked him on his shoulder.

"Pervert why are you daydreaming in front of me! Do you think I'm not going to beat you up if you keep doing this!?" She said while shouting at him.

It was indeed a smack on the shoulder but, the shock from that smack traveled to his neck, and he g.r.o.a.n.e.d again from pain while glaring at her.

"Arrgh… Why did you hit me again!?"

"Why? You ask why? Hahaha… I want to make you die in pain! So what?"

Karen looked so annoyed, her glaring red eyes looked at him with rage and furry! She was so angry this time that she want to strangle this scoundrel to death!

"This… U-uh… W-well I-i know thath I'm wrong, please forgive me!?" He was stuttering and want to bow his neck but it was painful for him to do that so, he could only close both of his eyes while looking sorry and guilty.

'…. Dear god… it was actually my first time touching a woman butt… why did you have to ruin it by sending her!' Deep inside he really want to cry, it was his first time doing this l.e.w.d thing. But his luck really is bad, his first time actually offended someone he shouldn't have offended.

Glen really regretted his action, if only he could turn back time…. Nay.. It was impossible. The law of times, could only be changed by the gods. It was something a mortal should never touch, Even if there is a magic or element that could do it. The gods will put a restriction so strict that it would be really hard to use.

His only dream right now is to awaken his Magic Core and be able to use magic. He doesn't want to shame his uncle anymore. With his other relative pressuring and keep telling him to give up, only his uncle that keep supporting him right now.

So Glen really want to put an end to this farce and shut up those damned old man….

"Scoundrel let's just forget about it… I'm curious about something. You… Who are you!?" She asked him with a doubtful tone while putting a serious expression.

Seeing her serious expression, Glen tried to focus his mind and putting a serious expression of his own. ".... My name is Glen Friz Hart, I'm from Duke Hart Household… and you are?" Glen voice seemed weak while introducing himself.

"…. You're her relative huh… I'm Karen Lania. A commoner!" Said Karen while showing her disp.l.e.a.s.u.r.e.

Seeing her looking like this, he could only smile wryly and be sad. Glen really feeling guilty right now, not only he touch her b.u.t.t, there's that incident with Alisa too. "I'm sorry, Karen… Alisa really went too far back then…" When he tried to apologize to her again regarding Alisa and his rude action just a moment ago he was cut off by her.

"Anyway, what I want to ask is… What are you!? When I tried to come closer to you my Magic Core reacted to you. It's as if it was agitated…" She asked him with a strong tone while narrowed her eyes.

"Ahaha.. Even if you ask me that… I don't even know it too you know… You see, My magic Core is inactive. It was said that my Magic core is defective, I tried everything that I could find to try to awaken it, but to no avail… But when I first saw you, it was reacting for the first time. My Core is sending a warm energy to my body, I was so surprised and tried looking what caused it to be like that…"

"…. So you are the fool. That is looking for something so frantically in front of the campus… No wonder… I understand… Your core is inactive right!? You won't be able to awaken it no matter what you do. Is that right!?" She was at first dumbfounded and then she nodded her head at Glen while saying with a ridiculing tone.

"You knew… You are right, I have tried everything… I was about to give up actually, but your presence give some hope to me… that's why.." Glen said with a despairing tone with the light in his eyes started to dim. But then he looked at her and his dim eyes started to be filled with light again.

Karen looked at his sad and filled with hope eyes, it made her body trembled and her heart was filled with all kind of emotions. It was as thought she could feel his emotions herself. Pain, sad, anger, envy, humiliation, etc. She could feel it all, all of his feeling like a broken dam flowing into her.

Karen's breathing turned hard and her eyes filled with tears, she was looking at Glen with pain and sadness. '….W-why… W-what happened to me? I… I feel so sad… and… Angry..' She was bewildered as to why she feel so sad and angry. She's not angry at him, but this feeling she's experiencing is hard to explain…

"Why are you crying?" Glen asked her sounding a bit astonished and doubtful.

"I.. I don't know.. B-but… I just.. Hic… Hic.. Uuuhh.." Karen said with a broken words while trying her best not to cry, but it was obviously not working.

Seeing Karen cry like that Glen strangely feel sad too, it was as if he wanted to hug her into his embrace and console her.
