I Transmigrated as the Cannon Fodder Villain

Yohann quickly writes a reply and motioned for Amias to show it to Gideon.

"Gideon, look" Amias pointed in Yohann's Direction.

Gideon first looked at Amias before following to where he was pointing. There he saw Yohann's writing, although rushed, it was still nice to look at.

"You don't have to be sorry. You were only curious. If anything I should be the one apologizing to you"

The last portion of the sentence made Gideon think about it for a moment before remembering that Yohann used to be one of those monsters. Then it means... Yohann was the one who attacked Gideon. Seeing how Gideon's eyes widened in surprise, Yohann was not surprised and lowered his head to apologize. Gideon panicked when he saw Yohann lowering his head towards him. It just felt absolutely wrong of him to do so.

Amias just watched this game of charades between these two occur for a few moments before he decided to butt in.

"I think everyone gets it that they're both sorry for their own actions... Yohann, have you eaten? Gideon and I got you snacks"

If Yohann had animal ears, those would have already perked up the moment he heard the word "Snacks".

"I have but I still have room for more"

"You sure?" As far as Amias is concerned, he only knows that Yohann can no longer use his powers. That is why he thought Yohann's appetite would turn back to the equivalent of a human.

"Of course, I was honestly considering having our kitchen prepare some meals for us just in case the two of you had not eaten, and yet here we are with you suddenly surprising me with a meal" Yohann writes down and Amias tells Gideon to grab the bags of food.

He hands the two bags to Amias and the latter proceeds to pass it towards Yohann. That person looks like he had received good news especially when those eyes sparkled at the burger that was included in the take-out order. Yohann puts the bags of food down and reached for his notepad.

"You don't have to write it down anymore Yohann, I already know what you're going to say thank you may or something along the lines but it's not that big of an issue for me" Amias smiles and guides Gideon to sit down with him in one of the sofas in this room.

Yohann continued to take out all of the food and it looked like Doraemon taking numerous things out of his tiny front pocket.

"You've been awfully quiet" Amias tells Gideon.

Truthfully, Gideon was a little overwhelmed with everything that is going on right now. First was the sudden outing for lunch, the second was the high school students, and now the third was Yohann having a large appetite. Oh and let's not forget the fact that Yohann was the cursed monster who tried to eat Gideon during the Winter Ball.

"I'm sorry, I don't really have much of an idea to talk about with you guys"

"Oh, then if you want, we can talk about yours and Kaiden's current relationship"

Gideon goes deadly quest as he tries to think of an explanation for what happened to their "friendship".

"We just got into a heated argument, I'm not particularly sure which one made me upset but I don't think I can face him for a while"

'Meanwhile, the prince is having me, spy, on you since he himself didn't know what he did wrong, and funny enough, you both are feeling the same thing' Amias could not help but think of this when he heard of Gideon's problems.

"Is that so?" Amias asks as his eyes went to watch Yohann happily eating a few of the meals that he brought.

"Yeah, at first I thought you might be going here to keep me in check or something. But that doesn't seem to be the case and I want to thank you" Gideon smiles at Amias and little did he know that everything he just assumed was the truth.

"N-no problem, as long as Gideon is no longer upset then I'll keep visiting you" Amias declares which made Gideon smile wider.

The day ended on a good note. Yohann and Gideon were more comfortable with each other now. Amias wanted to give himself a pat on the back for knowing that those two will definitely get along with one another. But still, he cannot forget what he had promised the prince.

"Gideon, I actually wanted to ask you something"

"Hmm?"

"You mentioned that you and the prince are not really on speaking terms for a while but does this mean that you intend to talk to him sometime in the future?" Amias carefully chose his words so that he does not get identified as a liar by Gideon.

"I guess? since how will we apologize to one another? but for now, I don't know how to approach him" Gideon was in a good mood and that is why he is more honest than usual.

"So... if Kaiden apologizes to you, would you be able to talk to him face to face?"

That question was kind of similar to the Question that Gideon had asked in his dream earlier that day. Perhaps it was a prophetic dream? Or maybe deep inside he actually wanted someone to ask that question but a lot failed to do so. It was extremely lucky that Amias decided to actually ask about it.

"Maybe. It depends if he's being serious about his apology. I know I'm demanding a lot since I"m also at fault but I can't help it... Now that I thought about it, he did numerous unforgivable things towards me which I try to excuse"

"But even after all that, and let's say that he was serious, will you still forgive him?"

Amias was relieved to know that Gideon was aware of Kaiden's toxicity and maybe this situation between the two of them would help change that spoiled bastard understand boundaries. But he still felt nothing but concern for this kid in front of him especially hearing his reply before he got off the car.

"I would"

Amias wanted to punch Kaiden and ask who was the succubus? Was it Gideon or was it Him? How did he manage to keep Gideon wrapped around his finger?

He just loathed this feeling of discomfort and worry and it got significantly worse the closer he got to the Palace. When he arrived, the prince actually greeted him in the hallway.

"Amias, it took you a while to arrive" Kaiden glanced at his phone and it was quite late at night.

"I didn't touch him if that's what you're concerned about. And even if I did, I'm sure you'd know given the fact you practically put a tracker on him with your powers"

"It's not a tracker. It's just in case he gets severely hurt and no one can help him" He explains.

This is actually how he managed to find out that Gideon was the person watching him a few months ago at his Birthday Parade. He placed that sneaky trick onto Gideon when they were kids where he put a few of his powers onto Gideon when he was asleep and had that activate in case he gets really hurt. But it seems like Gideon has not gotten hurt the same way he did when he fell from the tree and hit his head in the past so this spell did not activate at all.

Amias couldn't help but just scoff at Kaiden's half-assed explanation. It was pretty much the reason why Gideon became off-limits. The equivalent of what Kaiden did to Gideon without his knowledge was placing a Hickey somewhere it wasn't too obvious to the naked eye but could be easily seen to those who are interested in him.

The two began to walk down the hallway and it seems like they were on the way to the greenhouse which is also referred to as Luciel's private garden. Did the prince have business with his father?

"Anyways, that aside. I just had him meet up with Yohann"

"Why would you do that?"

"Because I thought they would end up as good friends and I was right?" Amias had a confused expression. Does he need to explain everything word per word to the prince?

"They became friends?"

May whoever listening to Amias have mercy on his patience. Regardless, they arrived and Luciel was not in sight. There were some flowers that started to bloom under the moonlight and what stood out were these flowers called Casa Blanca Lilies. They were one of the many flowers that Gabriella liked.

"Yep but I'm sure you're more interested in hearing other things than that"

"You know me so well Amias" Kaiden sarcastically replies and he observed the flowers.

"Was there anything else for you to report?"

"There is and it's about what Gideon feels about the situation going on between the two of you"
