I Transmigrated as the Cannon Fodder Villain

Everyone got dismissed when the meeting ended. Kaiden decided to pull Amias to the side and dragged him off somewhere. He sets up an array to keep things confidential before asking.

"Why are you dragging me out all of the sudden?" Amias asks and Kaiden breathes in.

"Is El the guy you were trying to warn about before?"

Amias pursed his lips. Would he be allowed to speak about it?

"He is" Even Amias was surprised that El allowed him to speak of it.

'What exactly are you planning El?'

"How did you find out?!" Kaiden got greatly concerned.

Never mind Matthew looking for him in the past. Why was El hanging around Gideon? What was Gideon's connection to that guy? Things were already going smoothly between the two of them so why did Gideon get involved in this situation?

"El left traces on Gideon. I tried asking Gideon about it but either he doesn't remember or cannot say. That's how El does things around here"

"I see. I'll try to ask him about it instead of you"

"You can actually leave it, my prince"

"What?"

Amias sighed. He knows it sounds stupid since he did warn Kaiden about El taking an interest in Gideon. But it was also El who pushed these two into a corner that forced Kaiden to swear an oath and confess his feelings. He's indeed a strange matchmaker.

"As far as I am concerned, El didn't do anything to Gideon. It's best not to test his patience"

He had a point though. El had never done anything to Gideon yet. And it was indeed the best to not test someone as powerful as him.

"So I'll just let this be for now?"

"Why do you think I stayed quiet when his return got announced?"

Kaiden realized the point Amias was making. If it was known that Gideon had some sort of interaction with El, then he would be placed under a lot of suspicions again. Kaiden wasn't aware of what exactly his father ordered from Amias but he had a vague idea. That idea is removing any threats.

"Thank you" Kaiden lowered his head a little to show how grateful he is to Amias for protecting his Deon. Although he gets jealous over the fact Amias is quite close to Gideon, he's thankful that someone also cares about Gideon.

"No problem but I hope this can stop you from acting all jealous when I hang out with Gide- Oh yeah, you definitely have to be the one who hangs out with Gideon" Amias suddenly changed his words and shifted his posture because of how Kaiden was glaring at him. He realized something and asked away.

"How are things between you and Gideon?"

Kaiden originally intended to boast about it last night but things got hectic. He didn't think he should talk about it yet because of how serious the atmosphere was in the palace. But since Amias brought it up-

"Oh, we're dating"

Amias' eyes widened. "WHAT?! WHEN HOW?"

"What do you mean how? Of course, I asked him" Kaiden answered as if it was a matter of fact.

Amias was about to ask more when he looked to the side and noticed Azazel staring at the two of them from outside the array. He looked like he was judging the two well... to be fair, they look stupid from the outside. Kaiden only used a silencing array and not a private one so they would look like they're speaking without sounds. Kaiden took down the array with a swift movement of his hand and now Azazel could be heard.

"It took you a while to notice me" Azazel answered and Kaiden shrugged.

"I'll be off" Kaiden says and Amias grabbed his wrist.

"Oi, where the hell are you going! You have a lot of explaining to do"

"The only explanation there is... is that the feeling is mutual. Even Yohann supported it" Kaiden pulled his wrist and went off his way.

Azazel just looked between the two and Amias motioned for him to come closer. He whispered the details since Luciel might hear.

"HOW?!" 

"EXACTLY"

They actually had a feeling that Gideon would eventually fall for Kaiden given how pushy the prince was. But they didn't expect it to be this soon. Kaiden smiled smugly as he recalled Gideon's expression that day.

"I should call him"

A few more days had passed and the palace was now prepared for both the meeting and a surprise attack in case there was one. All that's left is to call out for El for him to arrive. Luciel, who had not seen the guy for so long, didn't know how to put his feelings about the matter into words. He sighed because El had always told him that his decisions were correct but what about now? Was he still doing a good job?

Damien approached Luciel and informed him that Kassandra had sent word that she arrived back at the northern region's camp but she had already set off to go to the coordinates. Turns out a few of her men had not returned since their last expedition and nobody knows where they ended up. There had been no word after that.

"Reckless as ever when it comes to her men..." Luciel muttered.

"Well we can't do anything about it because we're also like that"

Arda was at the side waiting for orders while she sorted through the work that Azazel had done while she was away on her tablet. Her cheek had some bandages and it was still a little swollen. This could be easily healed but it's a waste of powers and it was her punishment. Although embarrassing, it was still better than any other punishment.

"Arda, come here" Luciel calls for her, and she lowers her tablet and walks up to him.

"Yes?"

"Where are the others? Even though this meeting doesn't require their attendance, I just want to check"

Although it wasn't really her job to do that, Arda always had her ways of finding people if Luciel required it. However, if the person is on the same level as her it gets tricky especially if they're hiding themselves. In this case, the people in question could be easily found since they're not in hiding.

"May I use my powers? since I do have excess from Lord El's "gift". It'll be faster if I do that"

Luciel's eye twitched a little because Arda just got punished for using her powers without permission and now she's asking him if she can use them again?

"Denied. I'll just assume that Azazel is resting since I overworked him, the same goes for Yohann. I'll leave finding Amias to Damien since you two have things to talk about. And my son..." Luciel was doing hand gestures for every person he mentioned but he suddenly paused when it came to Kaiden. "I'm sure he's with that kid" 

Arda lowered her head as a response. "I'm sorry, my king. For acting imprudently and not thinking the obvious" 

"Don't do it again. Remember, the only time you're allowed to use it is if you're in a life or death situation but as much as possible you are not allowed" Luciel sternly scolds Arda.

"And this is why I would always tell you that you're doing a good job when it comes to leadership" someone suddenly butts in and this presence was enough for the servants in the room to lower their gazes at the floor as if they were not worthy of seeing this person. Only Damien, Arda, and Luciel were allowed to see this person and they were surprised.

"I would have arrived here a few days ago but since you guys insisted on preparing for our meeting, I just chose to wait until you're done. But haist, why do you still argue" El held his cheek and frowned.

The man had white hair and ice blue eyes that had a tinge of gold if you looked closely. This was El. But not everyone saw a man, they would also see him as a woman and sometimes even a child. This all depended on his mood, but the current form he has is the one he often uses whenever he meets with the three.

"Lord El..." Damien and Arda lowered their gazes as well but Luciel remained to stare at El.

"I still can't get used to you guys calling me Lord. Back when you were small children that I made, you would call me Papa or Father" El smiled and approached the two. He first went to Arda and held her chin to make her look at him. He tilted her head to the side to look at her cheek.

"This must have hurt..." He said softly and blew a breath on it. It was a cold sensation for Arda but her cheek no longer hurt. El used his other hand to peel away the bandage on her cheek and it was as if nothing happened.

"There!" El beamed and pats Arda's head.

"You're really pretty so you should take care of yourself more. This also goes for you two" El turns his head to look at the two. He now decided to walk up to Damien and look at him up and down.

"Back then you were only up to my knee, who would have expected you would be taller than me" This sounded weird since El was all-knowing and constantly told Damien when he was younger that he will grow to be big and strong so he has to protect those he holds dear.

"And that leaves.... you" El stops at Luciel.
