~KYOMI~

"Get off my property." My father warned. "Before I have the cause to call the police." He threatened.

Dante smiled, obviously not scared of my father's threat.

Without another word he pushed himself off the gate and climbed onto his bike. His eyes glanced in my direction once more but only for a few seconds before he drove off, following after his brothers.

"Do you see the type of monsters those people are?" My father asked me with disgust laced in his voice.

I couldn't respond, for I couldn't see Dante as a monster, in fact I felt like I'd misjudged him all of these years. Maybe he wasn't as bad as I'd always thought he were.

As we made our way inside, I didn't miss the weird looks sent my way by the staff. Surely everyone had already seen all the pictures on the internet.

Dante's father was right, my reputation was definitely at risk.

No one would even wish to marry me now, I was a disgrace to my family.

I saw my sisters concerned looks as I walked into the living room, they didn't say anything however. They knew better than to question the events of the day with the mood my father was in right now.

"What are we going to do?" My mother asked my father, she hadn't once spoken a word to me since they'd seen me exit Dante's van earlier today and I knew she was extremely upset and disappointed in me.

My father let out a deep breath before squeezing his temples. "I've already gotten off the phone with Ben and his father, the wedding is off." He said.

I felt relieved at that news, I never wanted to marry Ben. My father may not have believed a word Dante had said about the Chadwicks but I knew it had to be true judging from the way Ben had reacted to him.

The problem however was that no one would want to marry me, it wouldn't just be Ben, every single eligible bachelor would refuse me for they all wanted someone with a good reputation to make them look good.

But was that so much of a problem?

I could work on building myself and my life without having to worry about a man and his needs, this might actually be good for me.

"Do you have anyone in mind to get her married too that would still be willing to wed her despite

the pictures on the internet?" My mother asked.

Oh God no. I hoped my father replied with a no, I didn't want to think of another arranged marriage.

"I don't think so." He replied, his tone rough. " I hate those blasted Clarkes', but I don't see any other way right now. I may have to get her married to Dante."

I stood completely still at my father's words.

Did he really mean that?

My mother gasped. "We can't do that to our daughter Dominic!"

My father turned his cold gaze my way. "She did this to herself, we did nothing. Everyone must face the consequences for their actions and she must do the same."
