~KYOMI~

As I entered the room, the first thing I saw was my father seated on one of the sofa's with a frustrated and angry look written all over his face.

My two sisters were seated on the opposite sofa and didn't look too happy either. Surely they must have an idea of what was happening.

"I've tried everything I could." My father started. "But no one wants to marry a woman who's been fooling around with the son of a loan shark, they all see you as someone who has absolutely no respect for yourself and thus cannot have respect for anyone else."

My heart hurt at his words, it was so easy for people to change their opinions about you. I was once someone people looked up to, someone parents used as an example to their kids on how a young lady should carry about themselves. Now I'd be the woman people told their children not to be like.

"Therefore." My father continued. "After listening to all the criticisms and seeing people laugh to my face, calling me a hypocrite and a liar for claiming that I knew how to grow a respectful family and also claiming that my family consisted of obedient children who knew how to respect themselves. I'm left with no choice but to get you married to Dante, it's the only way to save my reputation as well as yours."

I stood in complete shock.

I'd thought they had dismissed this idea, after my father had first proposed the idea to listen to Dante's father I honestly believed that he realized how crazy it were and decided not to go along with it.

But now as I stood staring at the faces of my family members I could see that I was wrong, in order to save both their reputations and mine they were willing to give me up to the Clarkes.

I felt the tears begin to form in my eyes, I never expected something like this. I knew I was completely at fault but I also knew if that whole scandal with Dante didn't happen my parents would have just gotten me married to someone else.

I was crazily attracted to Dante Clarke, that was the honest truth however being married to him was something completely different. I lived a completely opposite life to Dante, how was I supposed to adjust to his lifestyle?

I didn't want this, I wasn't ready for it.

"Father please, is there no other way?"I begged.

My father's gaze was the coldest I'd ever seen it before. "No, this is your punishment for embarrassing your family in the worst way possible, even I have to bury my pride and accept help from the Clarkes to save my own reputation." He said angrily. "Get ready, we're going to visit your new family."
