I Was Married To A Man Half Woman: My Past Life's Unrequited Love

After eating in the restaurant that Ray had chosen, it turns out that looking for such a woman is a pain in the neck , a day is not enough to find the person they were looking for. The only option is to find an inn to stay and rest, there is always another day to continue the mission.

The first one to revoke the silence is no other than the Nagy Ray "say Jang.., what if we didn't found the badge?.. are we going back to master and accept the punishment or are we going to escape and never return?"

This was the first time that Jang heard his friend spoke words in a serious tone which made him curious so he chat with Ray despite having his mind full of other matters to think of. "if that happens, i will go back.. i won't force you to tag along so feel free to flee by yourself"

Sigh.."you are hopeless!, i knew you would say that.."

"i can't possibly leave you right?. So i will follow you and do whatever you command."

He looked at his friend "i doubt you would do that, so stop spitting nonsense and sleep!"

"You!" eyes widen in disbelief "how could you say that to your partner, don't you trust me?"

"you are not even listening to me so its a NO.." he coldly said turning his back to his friend. He lay down on his bed and add "we have to keep on looking tomorrow so sleep now, i don't want you to complain being not able to sleep because your insomnia came back."

"ouch... what a cold hearted friend you are" sighing he closed his eyes and a warm smile appeared on his lips. He knew that Jang was thinking about his well-being because if Jang was in this mission alone, he will not rest till he finished the mission assigned to him.

Outside city M

"grandma..." she look at her grandma pouting "my throat hurts.. can i please skip tonight's meal?"

Brows wrinkling "all you know is how to skip. How about asking me to make you some congee to eat? Instead of asking for something that i won't permit!"

"now that i think about it, you are right grandma hehe. Please make me some please" puppy eyes.. as if the old woman was seeing a wagging tail growing out from her granddaughters behind she laugh "ok - ok, i will make you some"

"how about me my dearest?" she look at her husband and said "does your throat hurt too?. Did you sing all day?."

Looking at his wife who seemed to love their granddaughter more than him he said pitifully "don't you care about your husband anymore? How can you make some for her but not for me?"

How can i have such a shameless thick headed husband?.. "how dare you compare your old self to our Little Aly?",

"fine.. you don't have to use your acting skill.. it ticks me off.." she look again at him and shakes her head.

Wiping his imaginary tears "how cold bohoho.."

"my beautiful granddaughter, how about giving your grandpa a hug?.. i felt so alone"

Seeing her grandpa act this way made her mood swing so hard that she wanted to pounce at his shameless grandfather and beat him to death, he was still her grandpa so all she could do is tolerate his antics and retort as much as she could to repay his craziness.

"grandpa, if you speak another word.. i will cut that tongue of yours and make it into a fish bait" she look at his grandpa so coldly that he swallowed the words he was about to say.

Looking at his grandfather she then turned around at her grandma. Meeting each others eyes, she wink informing her grandma to cooperate. "grandma, how come you fell for grandpa when there are many other men following you around which is much better for you?"

Looking at her wife, the old man expect a good answer but end up receiving a critical hit.

As if thinking hard "well that time am pretty much blind so when i choose him i thought that since he was dumb i can just have him as an errand boy.."

Aly laughed out loud at her grandmothers way of bullying coupled with her serious straight face, she can be a very good actress.. if i were grandpa i will definitely fall from her pretenses.."grandma since grandpa is a thick skinned old man, you can just leave him. Im sure he will survive.."

The old man listening to the conversations between his love-ones gave up and said "how come i had such a bully wife and an schemer granddaughter?" sighing he scratch his head and add "even though im shameless, i can't possibly live without you guys.."

Looking at the serious face of the old man, he unknowingly brought warmth to her wife and granddaughters heart. They smiled so melodiously, they once again looked at one another and nod "grandpa, lets eat..." she smiled and put rice on her grandpas empty bowl...

"i made quite a lot so we better eat everything" said by old woman Hale while putting water on her husbands empty glass.

Stunned, he watch as the two girls in his life serve him "thank you.. let us eat".. he put the rice on his mouth and begun eating. Unbeknownst to them.. the old man shed a tear, he was overjoyed... he quickly wiped it afraid that he may ruin the good atmosphere.

At the palace

"its already night your highness but his condition never change, im afraid from this moment onward, his life will be in more danger specially now that he was in coma" physician Yan informed the emperor. She look at him and analyze his expressions.

Avoiding the topic he dodge by asking about the lab "how was your secret research?"

"im sorry uncle but i need a lot of time. The drug they used is very unique, i haven't encounter anything like this before. Im doing lots of experiment. For now all we can do is pray that he will wake up soon so that i could test my hypothesis regarding the poison."

"i see.. i will bring you all the books you need, just list them and send it to me. Anyway Yukihina, are you sure you don't want others to know your place in the palace?"

"if i do that, i will only get on your way. They will eye on me too and probably kill me. there is always a perfect time for the curtain to fall and when that happens.. i will personally torture those old bastards"

"how can you easily say that word when you are a girl?. Can you just act as one?"

"hey and what is that supposed to mean? do i look like a man to you?, im so much prettier than those noble dimwits compared to them, im way more ahead, ok uncle?" she nagged at him for half an hour

As the Emperor regret the words he said.. he inwardly cursed himself for becoming a blubber mouth.. "hai-hai.. im sorry, i won't say that again" he sigh as he understand now why his wife was so close with the girl as they had the same ridiculous temperament and the same behavior.

"uncle, i heard that you are looking for Lenards future candidate.. may i add one person?"

"hmm? Where did you heard that?"

Shrugging her shoulder "well its running around the palace.. the rumor also said that the prince illness started after finding out about his possible marriage"

"i understand, somehow they were right. Its my fault to begin with Yukihina.. once he wake up please stay beside him and guide him well." He look outside the window of Lenards as he extend his hand on the roses on the vase and and clench it tightly.

Looking at his gloomy old uncle he saw something dripping down the floor "oh my God uncle!. What the hell are you doing?. Look! Your hand is bleeding geez. You are already old so please get a hold of yourself! Besides the door will get dirty!"

Really just the floor you are worried about?. Looking at his hand "its OK, don't worry"

"There is no way its OK!. Come here!" he drag the emperor at her work desk and pushed him like a child sulking in dejection. "give me your hand, hurry up...!"

"ah here..." as he was startled by her shout he gave his wounded hand in fast and heavy speed which made Yukihina groan in pain. "careful uncle!.. are you a brat?. Geez!" she nag at him again this time longer than ever. He even fall asleep.

Looking at her uncle, Yukihina Ultear known as Physician Yan lean her right side on the wall and stared at the emperor wrinkled brows. "he sure is a hopeless man..."

At the city

As soon as the sun rise, the duo Jang and Ray made their way to the city to look for more information. they keep on looking until they found something useful.

"oh.. you might be talking about the owner of the meat-shop near the arena. Those couple are good people so everyone knows them. Specially madam Hale, she was a beauty" his eyes shine as he describe the old woman's features to Jang

"thank you sir.." he walk away and returned to the inn where Ray is waiting.

"so how was it?. Did you find anything?"

"yes, we are going out now.." he walk out the door and slam it in a hurry. He don't intend to waste more time specially now that they finally had a proper lead.

"wait for me!.."

"im going out!"

"where are you going my dearest?" the old man ask as he was flirting with his wife but her wife although blushing brushed off the hand of the old man. "see you later"

"how about a kiss before you go out huh my lovely wife?!" he smile as he open his arms waiting for his wife to throw herself at him for a kiss.

Looking at his husband, the old woman Hale laugh "how can you act this way when we are already old? And as shameless as ever.."

"well if i don't act first i doubt that your shyness will not get ahead of you. Im sure that i will never even get the chance to be hug.." he sigh and was once again startled by her wife sudden approach. She kissed him and hug him tight. Although her heart was pounding really fast she did her best not to show it. On the other hand her husband was so obvious that she laugh again and again till her stomach ache.

"hey don't laugh!.. how rude.." he pouted and then hug her wife again. this time it was her who got startled but she still enjoy the time anyway. She smile as she was convincing her husband "im just going to get something..."

"ohh and what is that?" his brows curve showing his curiosity

"its a secret!" walking outside she didn't wait for the old mans retort after all she doesn't want to get found out.

"girls... why do girls love playing hide and seek? hmm" he shake his head as he get outside the counter. Not long after Jang and Ray found the Shop they were looking for and enter it. A man and a woman also enter to buy a meat.

"excuse me sir?"

"oh.. hello there..how may i help you?" in good mood, he showed his brightest smile.

"ahm sir, i just wanna know.. did your wife bought something on the accessory shop ten stores away from here?"

"hmm i don't know.. i think she did. Why are you asking about it?".

"ohh if possible sir, i would like to buy back what she bought. It was supposed to be a gift for my master"

"i see... let me look for it, i know she put it somewhere in our cabinet. Please wait sir.",

"oh here.. please this are the latest accessories she bought this month. Please look and tell me once you find something.

Jang and Ray carefully look at the accessories but does not find anything. "sir thank you"

"did you found what you are looking for?."

Shaking his head he politely answered the old man with a smile and then said "no, but thank you sir." He walk away and continued his search.

The man that enter together with woman is walking around stealthily, something shines at his right side that caught his attention. He saw a dagger hanging on the closet so he walk closer to it and saw the unique engravings in it. He look at the woman and nod.

"sir, i would like to buy this and this" the woman pointed the different slices of meat

"oh here..." he open his cabinet and took out the meat while slicing it the man took the dagger out but because it shines under the sunlight the old man saw it and said "sir, im sorry but that dagger is not for sale.." he walk closer and took the dagger but the woman standing beside him put a needle on his back and then she suddenly bade her farewell.

"thank you mam" the old man bow and look at the woman walking out from his shop. He tightly grip at the needle in his hand and look seriously at the woman. "who are they?"

"how is he still not asleep?" The woman ask herself in confusion..

"i don't know, its your poison so how would i know?" the man look at his partner and said. He add "if we go back there we will become so obvious, so let us just wait for him to close the shop and we will get the dagger.

"i understand."

Jang and Ray unexpectedly received a letter from a mailman and choose to leave first before the man and woman who gets in the shop with them.
