S-Class Dragon VS S-Class Female Knights

Rohee's POV


A large number of A-class dragons are rushing forward towards our captain, Zekudo.

It seems that the S-class dragon who is in command of this horde gave instructions to the A-class dragons using its roar earlier.

There's no doubt about that, because after that roar, all the A-class dragons in the area started aiming at Zekudo.

It had happened because Zekudo had defeated a lot of A-class dragons at such a tremendous speed that the S-class dragon probably judged him as a dangerous opponent.

Even though that S-class dragon is our enemy, the way that it acts based on the given circumstances is really commendable. 

But in all seriousness, that S-class dragon is truly the best of its kind because it has excellent situational awareness and the ability to command the other dragons.

It's really terrifying both for its wisdom and combat power.

"Captain Zekudo..."

When Rohee looked in Zekudo's direction while muttering his name, she noticed that Zekudo was now being chased by a large number of A-class dragons.

Zekudo was really fast when running, so there was no way that the dragons would catch him but Rohee couldn't help but be worried about him. 

After a while, Rohee's worries were dispelled when Zekudo joined with the other knights and launched a counterattack.

Rohee was relieved from the bottom of her heart when she saw that scene.

"Get ready! It's coming!"

Katia's voice echoed across the battlefield.

When Rohee sensed the bloodlust that was aimed towards them, she looked at the S-class dragon.

The S-class dragon, with its mouth open, fires silver breath at Rohee.

"Tsk"

The speed of the breath was so fast that Rohee had just barely enough time to dodge it.

When the silvery white breath hit the ground behind Rohee, it caused a huge explosion.

"Auggh!"

Rohee had managed to avoid it, but the blast from the explosion hit her back and she fell forward.

Rohee immediately regained her footing and resumed her stance, but the S-class dragon was already rushing towards her.

The movement of the S-class dragon is so fast that it doesn't match its massive body.

After a short while, when the S-class dragon finally reaches Rohee, it swings its ice-covered claws at her.

Its attack is also terrifyingly fast, but Rohee was able to avoid it by dodging and aiming in between the dragon's claws.

While the claws of the S-class dragon were still swinging in the air, Rohee grabbed her hammer and aimed at the other claws of the dragon.

It was a perfect opportunity for Rohee, as destroying the S-class dragons' claws was her original aim from the start.

To destroy it!

"An opening!" Rohee shouted.

But it was the other way around.

The S-class dragon spun its entire body around, and with the momentum it created, it swung its ice-covered tail towards Rohee.

It's impossible for Rohee to dodge the attack, as she didn't realize that the S-class dragon would follow up its initial attack at her.

When Rohee realized that she couldn't dodge the incoming attack, she stiffened her body to prepare for it.

"Rohee!"

Katia rushed to Rohee while screaming her name.

Katia then went in front of Rohee to defend her. Using her large shield, she tried to block the incoming attack.

But...

"Gah! Katia-sa..."

"Aghhh!"

The force of the attack was so great that Katia was blown away together with Rohee. Both of their bodies were slammed to the ground, creating a small crevice around them.

Flambert's POV


"Rohee-san! Katia-san!"

When her companions got hit, Flambert shouted their names.

Blown off by the tail of the S-class dragon, Rohee and Katia's bodies are now lying on the ground, and they aren't moving.

Were they knocked out or...

Suddenly, Flambert noticed that her surroundings had gotten dark.

The S-class dragon has also disappeared from her sight.

"Tsk"

When she realized that the S-class dragon was above her, she immediately took a big step backward.

The claws of the S-class dragon suddenly swung down at the same time she dodged. Luckily, it only scratched Flambert when its claw hit the ground. It created a small crater around it.

It was a really close call.

If Flambert had dodged just a few seconds later, her body would have been cut in half.

She then took some distance from the S-class dragon, and she immediately fired her Ice Arrow from her large bow, aiming at the dragon's head.

However, her Ice Arrow couldn't penetrate the ice covered head of the dragon and all of her arrows were repelled.

"It's head is really tough! Then how about this."

Flambert then aimed at the dragon's exposed abdomen, but before she could shoot her arrow, a white silvery breath flew towards her.

"Hmph!"

She twisted her body to dodge the breath, and she successfully managed to evade it. The breath then hit the ground and caused a huge explosion.

The blast from the explosion knocked Flambert's body out of the air, but that didn't stop her from aiming her bow and shooting her Ice Arrows into the abdomen of the S-class dragon.

She thought that if the dragon's abdomen wasn't covered with ice, then her arrow would be able to penetrate it.

*Cling*

"Huh?"

Flambert was surprised because even the abdomen of the dragon that wasn't covered with ice easily repelled the Ice Arrows that she had fired.

The dragon's abdomen is also the part of the dragon that isn't covered by dragon scales, so that means that the flesh of the dragon is really hard.

When Flambert landed, she immediately moved away from the dragon.

While avoiding the icebergs that began pouring down directly above her, Flambert continued her counterattack with her large bow while managing to somehow avoid the silvery white breath that was coming at her at the speed of sound.

As the battle continues, Flambert is slowly feeling a sense of despair as all her Ice Arrows are just bouncing off no matter where they are aimed.

Rohee's POV


"Gah... Rohee, are you alright?"

Katia called out to Rohee while she stood up while staggering.

"Yeah, I'm still fine."

After a short while, Rohee also managed to get her aching body back on its feet.

"I'm glad that you're okay. I'm sorry I couldn't completely block off its attack."

"Don't mind that, Katia-san. You saved my life. That's all that matters, so thank you so much for that. "

If I was directly hit by the tail cleave from the dragon earlier, I would surely die.

But even so, the damage that we suffered from being blown away is also really huge.

I'm still feeling dizzy and all the bones in my body are creaking, and it hurts so much.

"Still that S-class dragon..."

When I looked at the S-class dragon, I saw Flambert-sensei fighting the dragon on her own.

She is releasing tons of Ice Arrows at the dragon while managing to avoid the icebergs and breath coming from it, but by looking at the situation, it seems that her attacks aren't working.

"What a monster! No matter where Flambert-sensei aimed her arrows, all of them were just being bounced off."

"Katia-san, let's go and help Flambert-sensei."

"Let's go, but be careful. Its attacks are really powerful, so when engaging it, let's focus on defense and let's try to dodge all of its attacks."

"You're right, let's do that."

Rohee and Katia then picked up their weapons that were lying on the ground and ran towards Flambert, who was still in the middle of engaging the S-class dragon.
