Episode 34 – I’m worried about my senpai?

“My name is Akasaki Shingo. It’s going to be a short time, but I’m looking forward to working with you.”
He seemed to be a kind senior. I met a good person. This was also set up by Mirei san…no, I don’t think so.
“I’ll explain everything then.”
“I’m looking forward to working with you.”
“First of all, I heard that you are a trainee, so let’s just start with…”
I was told about the company’s business and the work of the Product Advertising Department, which I was researching.

“They want you to learn practical stuff, is that okay?”
“It will probably be fine!”
I’m sure it’s fine because Mirei san told me it’s no different from the way I help her at home.
“Then may I ask you to do this right away?”
“Yes!”
I do some simple data entry.
As far as the eye can see, there are many people coming and going.

Akasaki-senpai seems to be having a hard time because he is entrusted with quite a lot of work. He is not much older than me, so he is probably in his first or second year.
I was thinking about all kinds of things when it was over.
“Akasaki-senpai.”
“Yeah? What’s wrong? I knew it was a little too much for you…”
“It’s over.”
“What? Really?”
He Looked at my computer screen.
“It’s true. That’s amazing. Maybe you’re faster than me…”
“I’m not that fast.”
After that, I handle a little work and carry the documents with Akasaki-senpai.
“Oh, that?”
“You noticed that, too? That’s the president of our company. Or, to be more precise, the president of several companies.”
She is a high school student, but she has an appearance that doesn’t make you think so. I admire her.”
“That’s cool.”
As I was saying that, Mirei san pointed her finger at her watch.
Oh, it’s already noon.
“Could that be…?”
“I think she probably did it to the person next to her. We don’t know each other.”
“Well yeah”
I’m sorry, senpai. I know Mirei san very well. If anything, we see each other every day.

I peek through the door for a while.
It is difficult to see Mirei san when she is concentrating. It’s not like we are taking classes together.
“Mirei san.”
“Good work, Masa.”
“Good work.”
“How was your morning? Did it go well?”
“I’m doing my job. So far, so good.”
“Good, good. I made lunch.”
“Yeah.”
It was still so big and of such quality that I didn’t think it was a bento.

“Well, good luck.”
“Good luck, Mirei san”
As she was about to go back to her room, she said that to me

“Hey, Akasaki.”
“Yes?”
“That trainee you were teaching? He’s better at his job than you.”
“Well, maybe not better than us, but who are you to be beaten by a trainee?”
Akasaki is being bullied by his seniors.
Let’s help him!
