Chapter 48 The Fall of the White Robe

Saruman did not have the slightest resistance in his heart to the fact that he had taken refuge with Sauron.

A few days ago, he had promised Gandalf to go to Goodall’s High Hill in his stead to see the seal there.

He found that the seal had indeed been loosened, and he wanted to come back to report, but he was blocked by the false king of Angmar.

Angmar’s false king, one of the Nine Nazgul, Sauron’s lackey.

That guy actually said that Sauron wanted to see him.

With inexplicable fear and doubt, he came here, Dol Guldur.

Here he saw Allah, who controls everything, and the real leader behind it – Sauron.

Sauron made his request, asking him to help him, and of course, he also proposed the reward that would be given to him, supreme power and endless magical truth.

After Saruman saw Sauron demonstrate the mighty power of a blow of magic, he succumbed, of course, not to Sauron’s lewd might, but to his own desire for strength.

Such a powerful force, yes, such a powerful force is what he has always wanted. Now, in order to take a step up faster, he does not hesitate to serve Sauron.

Sauron’s first request was Gandalf, or, in other words, Gandalf’s ring, Naya.

Sauron wanted to take back the elven ring to restore his power, so he called Saruman to send a false signal, intending to deceive Gandalf to Dol Guldur.

“Do you think your companion will really come?” Sauron asked the expressionless Saruman, the voice from the darkness seemed to be joking.

Of course, Sauron did find it a little funny.

The wizard in front of him is really naive and ridiculous. Does he think that his power is so easy to master and learn?

Just for this illusory desire to betray his companions, it is really stupid enough.

Sure enough, no matter how noble a person behaves, there is always a dark side in their hearts, wizards are no exception, and of course, there are those… gods.

Sauron felt that he was very good at discovering these dark things, and he could magnify them infinitely and use them for himself.

Of course, the most important thing is that those who are often used by him are still ignorant.

“Of course, I said, he will come.” Saruman said affirmatively again.

He knew Gandalf as much as he didn’t know him. He clearly knew how naive and stupid this old wizard, who had always been benevolent, was.

Right now, he may be worried about his safety, ready to rescue him.

Dark and gloomy, icy and silent, the lonely castle seems to have experienced wind and frost, standing on this dark deserted forest, slowly decaying and falling. Vines crawled all over his walls, cobwebs filled dark corners.

“Tap~ta~ta!” In the silence, soft footsteps suddenly pierced slowly.

Gandalf clenched his cane, and slowly stepped up the stairs that meandered up.

The quietness here is surprising and disturbing.

Saruman called him to come here, but now, he can’t see him. Could it be that something has happened to him?

Thinking of this, Gandalf’s frowning frowned not only more tightly.

If there is something wrong with Face Saruman, then there is only one possibility, that… Existence, as Carl said, has awakened, and it is stuck in this Dol Guldur.

Worrying and doubting.

“Gandalf,” came a familiar voice suddenly behind him.

Gandalf regained his senses, raised his head, and looked at the figure that suddenly appeared in front of him, a little surprised: “Saruman?”

The person who suddenly appeared was dressed in white, who was it if it wasn’t Saruman?

Seeing Saruman, Gandalf was visibly relieved, and it seemed that things were not as bad as they had imagined.

However, thinking of Carl’s advice, he hesitated again, but after a few seconds, he shook his head again and ran it to the back of his head.

That guy Carl always likes to guess at random. Although his words are very accurate, how could Saruman betray him?

They were ordered by the gods, in order to find the Lord of Sauron’s Ring, and destroy it completely.

How could Saruman dare to disobey the divine order?

“Saruman, what happened here, you say there is evil spreading,” Gandalf asked.

“Yes,” Saruman smiled, with an inexplicable look on his face, “There are several undead here, and there is a powerful devil.”

Gandalf was startled, the undead, the devil? Could it be Sauron and his minions, the Nazgul?

“Where are they?” asked Gandalf hastily.

He wanted to confirm that if this was the case, then they had to withdraw as soon as possible and inform the Elf Queen Galadriel.

Sauron’s strength is extremely powerful, he has no confidence to fight against it, let alone a few Nazgul?

“They’re…here.” Saruman smiled and said, clapping his hands.

The next moment, the gloomy wind filled the air, and Gandalf saw a dark condensate, appearing around him.

His eyes suddenly widened in disbelief and surprise.

“Saruman, you actually betrayed the will of God!”

Gandalf was shocked and angry…
