I'm Nine Again

I wanted to apologize to all of the people that have enjoyed my writing so far. I was in way over my head when I started this project and didn't realise how demanding it was to write serialised chapters. Writing is a hobby of mine, and even though I was offered and refused a contract from , I make no money from this.

This is a community of people that like daily chapters of their favourite stories and I was lucky enough to find some fans that were okay with chapters coming once a week. The in which I write, is that with every sentence, I want the reader to feel something, hear something, smell something. Every sentence and peice of dialogue is written multiple times to get what I would consider the best result. As it stands, writting like that to chapter deadlines becomes less of a hobby and more of a chore. It's hard to write with Passion when it feels like a chore so the story suffers for that.

Another point I'd like to address is about the paceing of this story. Because it took about 20,000 words to get into the main plot of the story, Understandably I've upset a bunch of readers who had invested in me, thinking that the book would continue on pretty much like it had. That is a fault of my own, one that ive learned from and in future works I will adjust my pacing of the plot.

Another thing that kills my motivation is some of the hatefull comments I've recieved. I understand that I can't please everyone and that there will always be haters, and I am very open to constructive criticism. Reading things like, "The Author has killed this book." or , "This book is stupid, 1star" and "I have wasted my powerstones on this author." These being some of the more tame comments. It can be really disheartening as a creative to read stuff like that, stifling motivation to put together another chapter that now feels like a chore.

Moving Forward

The reason this is an indefinite hiatus and not dropped is because I do want to come back and finish all of the things that I had planned for the story. There are lots of plot twists and turns, characters who have a lot more fleshing out, Characters you haven't even been introduced to yet. It would be a shame to leave this title here without any resolution.
