As soon as they entered the large door, quite a few disciples took a deep cold breath.

From the outside, the building looked normal, but the inside was actually a hall hundreds of feet tall and stretching acres wide.

Within the hall there were hundreds of black chairs and tables. At the end of the hall there was a long ancient painting.

The painting portrayed the back of a person in Black. On his head, a long purple hairpin and he had a long sword without a sheathe swung over his shoulder. He had a layer of black aura surrounding him while giving off an extremely mysterious feeling

Beneath the drawing, there was a silver altar around fifty to sixty feet long. To each side, a lantern was lit. At the center, there were fifteen to sixteen golden tablets with different names written in black on them allowing it to give off a solemn feeling.

After all the disciples stepped into the hall, all the oil lamps within the Hall lit up, leaving the new disciples in awe, except young master Xu who still had an indifferent look on his face.

As all the youths couldn't help but look at each other, if it were not for the solemn atmosphere in the hall, they would've begun to whisper secretly. They could only stand in place and wait honestly.

Xu yun sized up the four corners of the huge hall, and unconsciously let his gaze fall back into the huge drawing hanging at the front. 'Shan Tianxie!...the one and only brother to the Sect master and maker of the lethal thirteen sword!'

According to his background story, He had been chasing after the leader of the palace of shifting flowers in a bid to court her. But for one thing, with his Unruly nature...there was no way Xi Chi would bother with him, not to mention that she started this faction because of her hatred for men. He was then hurt by an explosion caused by Xi Chi 'the Lunatic', which damaged his face, so he has to wear a mask.

Xu yun's random thoughts didn't last long since after a couple of minutes, footsteps sounded from the entrance of the hall.

"Greetings Great Master!"

"Stand." The Elder replied as he came in from the entrance.

'Yin Feng' Xu yun thought as he suppressed a chuckle.

'Arrogant as Ever' Xu yun couldn't help but think as soon as he heard this.

As soon as all of the disciples settled down once more, Yin feng once again drew every ones attention. He said with a motionless expression, "Killing a fellow sect member is against our ideals, making this Our one and only rule, Breaking this is tantamount to immediate death!"

The group of disciples hearts shook.

"Also, our sect also splits into eight factions but I believe you know this as well" Yin feng stated Impatiently as he looked around with his powdered face "So!!...I want you to proceed forward to the Martial skill section and each select your preferred skill set."

As soon as the words were out, The disciples moved under the sharp gaze of Yin feng, so Xu yun chose to play along.

As the new Inner court disciples spread out, Xu yun set his sights on his first target for recruitment.

'Zhu Ling'

a typical villainess character from what he remembers, Hard working? yes but very petty.

She started out as an outer court disciple and has now joined the inner court and has considerable influence in the outer court.

'Well she'd do better than the others from my calculations'. Xu yun thought with a smirk as he busied herself around Zhu ling.

Her first strength or flaw is her curiosity, this was probably how Ye ping got her under his wing in his quest to be head disciple.

Zhu Ling POV

As I went about looking for a perfect cultivation skill to support my poison arts, I noticed a white haired beauty pass by me with a disinterested look on her face.

"!!!" She noticed me!.

'wait...its not like I'm doing anything wrong, why am I like this.' I thought while trying to regularise my breath.

For some reason I turned to look at her once more, that was when I noticed something as a light breeze blew against her hair.

'That's a guy?!!...how can he be so beautiful?!' I was beyond shocked, 'wait!? what a waste, no cultivation!...recommended disciple?!' I felt a slight disgust all of a sudden.

With three sounds of "Peng", the light barriers on the Shelf all shattered. From within the tables flew three bamboo scrolls. They all flew before him and strangely floated two feet in front of him.

squinting my eyes, I saw the three words "Gecko steps" written in large purple color at the front.

"!!!" Advanced lightness skill.

After looking through a few pages, He then folded the scroll and placed it back in front of him. With a slight movement of his arm, He got a silver colored "Bone corrosion palm" and started looking through it.

This time, he looked through over a dozen pages before placing the scroll. After thinking for a while, he nodded to himself and said:

"I've seen that you've been watching me for a while, could it be that you're interested in these two manuals or perhaps you were more interested in me?".

His tone was neither gentle nor overbearing, it was more like he was stating a fact like the sky is blue.

" Who's interested in you?!" I retorted silently as I felt my face go hot, but He raised his eyebrows as though he was saying 'Do you have to lie so badly?'.

"Why would I lie about such a thing? The Bone corrosion palm is one of the more important methods for my poison arts while Gecko steps is rather useful. how did you even find them" I said hurriedly while trying to cover up my embarrassment.

"I'm guessing you didn't see it because of your low cultivation." He slowly said.

"If you have enough Power, you can get a high leveled Cultivation Method or martial arts skill, including the three secret methods that the Sect was founded on. However, you need Contribution Points for those three. There are countless disciples that have not practiced this skills for years and only performed Sect missions for quite a few years and still not been able to get a Cultivation Method. Do you think that you can get that many Contribution Points? In addition, you'd need various pills during your everyday life. All these need Contribution Points." the white haired boy said sarcastically when he noticed my longing gaze when he mentioned the sects main secret skills.

"Thank you for your advice." I bit my lips before saying.

Picking up the last bamboo scroll, He started looking through it without response. However, after two seconds, he raised his head up.

"Do you really wanna practice them?" He asked in an amused voice.
