Before entering his room, he told Li'er not to look for him because he's going to test the Celestial Body Technique.

Immediately after he entered, he quickly exchanges all the pill from his ring to system points. [Yuki! Start the skill fusion.]

"Alright! By the way, you can go play with Li'er. I'm the one doing the work here. You are not needed."

He then knocks on Li'er door again.

7 days later...

During the past week, Tian Feng has been going around the academy with Li'er. Ever since they come here, all they ever did was staying in their room to practice so taking this chance that he can't do anything anyway, he wants to explore around.

At the same time, he got worried about the skill fusion. It's been a week and it hasn't completed yet. If not for the fact that he still can communicate with Yuki then he might be dead due to over worried.

While fusing these skills, he cannot access any other functions except for inventory. The system basically greyed out.

He went to the Researching Hall once but it's no longer crowded. Reason being that his Qi storage is too low quality so any cultivator with slightly stronger capability deemed it negligible accessory. Although there's a lot of basic level cultivator, in the end, there can only be so many.

He didn't have the mood to make anything else since he was anxious about the result of the skill fusion.

Li'er hasn't been going out with him all the times since she also has her practices. However, she still spent some time with him to go around. As young as she is, it's not that hard to talk her to play with him.

During the day, he would watch Li'er practising and sometimes he would go to the library. During the night, he would talk with Yuki to stop his anxiety and sometimes he would think about his parents or what he should do next.

He realized that except for his goal to become the strongest, he doesn't know what he should do at the moment at all. Thinking of his parents, he wants to let them travel the world.

He now has a lot more knowledge of this world and the academy. This world is seemingly bigger than the Earth and there are actually 9 continents.

Legend says that at first this world was not divided into continents. There's only water and land. In other words, a single continent. The land was like a ring that divided the water into two between each pole, the North and the South.

However one hundred thousand years ago, everything changed. It was said that a super strong being split the land into 9 pieces in a feat of anger. After that, he disappeared and a few years later, he freezes half of the world water before his death.

Later on, no one was able to surpass him to unfreeze the half-frozen water despite thousands of years of efforts.

Some books say that there are different races in the others continent and that the continents were split to avoid conflicts.

Tian Feng didn't believe much of these legends thinking that the real reason might be like the Plate Tectonic theory. Nevertheless, it has nothing to do with him whether it was split by someone or by nature.

He was just bored, incredibly bored. In this world, there's no entertainment for kids at all. He's only 10 years old. The only kids that were of similar age to him were Da Jing and Li'er but they both are not free. One is practising and one is in closed-door training.

Walking around the academy, he saw many people who he deemed stronger than him. Recently, he got to know that this wasn't the only academy in the region from a senior lady who though he's cute and stop to talk with him.

Apparently, there's 3 others academy like this in each corner of the kingdom, east, west, south and north respectively. The Divine Sword Academy is located in the south corner of the Jade Flute Kingdom.

He thought that since there are 4 academies, why would the system mission is to join this one. Was he being controlled by the system? But as soon as this thought cross his mind, Yuki reassured that the reason was due to this being the closest academy to Xing Wu City, his hometown.

Every 10 years, there would be competition between the four academies to determine rank and resources that the kingdom will provide to each academy. However, there's a limited number of participants so usually there will be an inner competition to select the strongest of each generation.

Tian Feng is naturally excited at this news but he's now getting more anxious because of the fusing skills. The next competition will be 5 years later which is when he's 15 years old.

Thinking about age, he smiles bitterly. During the past week, he went to various halls but because of his kid's body, he couldn't do anything. Except for the researching hall which used the brain for most of the times, other hall use strength.

Blacksmith Hall, he's too short to hammer anything unless he stands on a chair which is not feasible for forging.

Medicine Hall, he's too small to operate anything.

Chemistry Hall, he's a head shorter than the laboratory table.

Sparring Hall, he can't win anymore because except for his generation which he could overwhelm with absolute strength, senior is well versed in combat experiences.

He once tried to complete easy missions with Li'er but Yuki stop him saying that if he completes the mission now, he won't get system reward because the system is busy at the moment.

He tried to visit each and every place even if he can't access most of the places.

This is the 7th night.

Tian Feng was sleeping in his bed staring at the ceiling thinking about his past life. He was a programmer. Every day, he would sit in front of computer screen, either programming or watching anime. If he's not in front of the computer screen then he's either eating or reading a novel on phone.

He has no social life. His life is full of regrets. He lost his few friends because of his failures in the career. He failed to fulfil his parents wish. He escaped from everything and harboured the thought of suicide almost every day. He has strong motivation but its duration is super short.

Now, it seems like he was given another chance but he felt like he's about to walk the same path again. Being lazy and proceed without a clear goal. He felt like he's walking in the dark one more time.

When he first come here, he had a clear determination to become the strongest person but his problem of short motivation is still with him even after he's reborn. Now he's ended up directionless once again.

While thinking this, he fell asleep. In the morning, he didn't even get up to eat breakfast until Li'er knocks his door and ask him to go with her.

Once again, he forgot the negative thought from last night when he saw Li'er but he's still directionless, not knowing what to do.

Li'er asked him to go to Researching Hall together to read books. They spent the whole day there.

There's no sign from the fusion at all. If Yuki hasn't been talking to him, he might even doubt that the system has crashed due to a bug or something.

In the morning of 9th day...

It's been 9 days since he started to fuse the three skills together. Tian Feng was walking back to his room after having breakfast with Li'er. They almost reached their room when he heard a system notification that he's been waiting all days long.

"Ding... Congratulation on successfully fused skills."

He immediately tells Li'er not to look for him and dash into his room without even bothering to make any excuse at all.

"Ding... Obtained Celestial Immortal Cultivation Technique"

"Ding... Integrating new technique into host"

"Ding... Balancing energy"

"Ding... The system is restarting"

Tian Feng was super excited when his vision turned dark and he fainted onto his bed.

In an instant, he felt that he was floating and everything surrounding him has changed. Everything is dark. However, he was stunned at the next moment. He saw a n.a.k.e.d girl with light glowing all over her body. She looks like a 16 years old girl but he never saw her before.

The girl is floating with her eyes closed. Light continues to glow brighter as time passed and she started to spin slowly. Tian Feng wants to move closer but he found that he cannot control his body at all. It felt like he's not connected to his body.

As the light got brighter, he could no longer see her face but then the light suddenly went flowing back into her body and amazingly there are clothes on her body now.

She was adorned with red long sleeve tight shirt and also a red skirt.

Tian Feng couldn't help but ask only to discover that there's no sound coming out from his mouth.

At that moment, the girl walks toward him and said softly in a cheerful tone "FengFeng! I'm Yuki. You can wake up now."

In his room, Tian Feng abruptly opens his eyes and sit up straight.

[Yuki?]

Yuki: "Yes?"

[What was that from a moment ago?]

"I'll tell you later. You have problems at hand now."
