Immortalis : Kallisté

I looked at kuya nick as he shouted Runaway and the last thing I heard is Get the bag under my bed and run as far as you can hurry, that's the last words I heard before I looked back at kuya Nick's location and what I saw frightened me.

the first 4 armed man who has very large swords with black Stone liked armor with black face demonic grin and 4 red glowing eyes is the fairest of them all few from the back came out, one of them has 6 unevenly length arms holding various weapons, some has 3 legs with 3 arms, some had 2 heads which creeps me out the most. to be honest more are coming out and I don't if its the right thing or the wrong thing to leave kuya nick but I'm quite a distance to his location now and It's the first time I saw kuya nick that serious his face is darken and it strikes fear, the tone of his voice it's commanding and my body just respond without even arguing. maybe I just need to follow Kuya Nick's order.

I'm running for my life, but I kept on thinking why that thing called kuya nick different names nicholas is his first name but immortalis? the holy war? is that even a surname and the great is he a king before or something?? I guess if we survived this I need answers and what is this monster saying that he's with a demigod I'm the only one with kuya nick am I the demigod?? is a demigod even real thing??.

I ran as fast as I can but I kept looking back at Kuya Nick's location, I'm worried about him, I'm almost at his house, I immediately went to his room and grab the large bag he was talking about it's heavy but I can manage. As I went out to run away I see kuya Nick heading my way and shouting "What the styx are you still here!!! Run Mike Run!!!" and my eyes widen when I saw the flock of black armored man following him there must be at least a hundred of them.

the vast amounts of monsters following kuya nick, overwhelmed me and froze me to where I stand, I cant seem to comprehend or even hear what he was shouting, I'm seeing him doing some silly hand signs means Go! My eyes can see it my brain understands it but my feet is not listening, I'm struck because of so much fear.

as kuya nick arrives he quite got some distance away from monsters which bought us some time, "what we're you thinking mike I said run with my bag and I'll find you" he opens the bag and there's a shield a spear a satchel with some glowing things and another bag - kuya nick picks up the spear and shield "Go get the two other bags be extra careful for the satchel protect it with your life, this is the only thing I request for you, no matter what don't let go of that satchel" he insisted and I see that he's dead serious, I nodded and picked up the bags the other bag seems quite heavy this must be half of the weight of the whole bag.

I'm about to run when I heard the seems to be leader of the dark giant man monsters "YOU CAN RUN KID BUT WE WILL FIND YOU AND WE WILL TEAR YOU TO PIECES, Hahahaha" he frightened me with his threat.

"Don't listen to him Go mike run!! I'll hold them off, I'll find you but now just go" kuya nike is full of confidence so I nodded at him and run but before I can even look away I saw his faint smile, even in times like this he still manage to give me a smile.

I ran away with tears dripping on my eyes, the only family I have, I have to leave, am I being selfish? or am I just a big coward? I never noticed that I'm running on the road and right behind a motorcycle passed by and stop in front of me making me stop on my track.

the rider pointed a dagger on my throat, a seemingly odd looking dagger, unlike most dagger it's handle is carved with a dragon and the blade looks a bit like a fang of a large animal honed to sharpen its edges as im inspecting the dagger the rider spoke "We're is he?" it's a girl, the girl then remove her helmet her flowing brown hair shines like a satin newly weave and her smell she smells like olives and her eyes stormy gray eyes so strong looking eyes. "I'll slit your throat if you're not willing to speak demon, One more chance where is nicholas?!" he knows kuya nick.

I reluctantly answered "H-h-e i-ss right over there h-he Told me t-to run and hide" she then withdraw her dagger "so you're the Mike he's talking about huh?" she inspects me.

"How did you know me?" i asked her "I figured it out, he told me he has someone, I thought your an enemy cause you have his bag and you're aura it seems unusual not mortal like" what does she mean by non mortal like? but I must convince her to help us "please help me kuya Nick, I mean Nicholas the great is in trouble!" i said.

"how many are they?" she asked "what do you mean?" I asked.

"he's obviously fighting something, because he won't just give that satchel to anyone if he's not in trouble!" she said.

"probably a hundred or so" I said and I saw her eyes widen "Nicholas is in trouble hop on we need to help him" she said but I'm bound to fulfill kuya nicks order to go as far as I can and to protect the satchel "No I must hide and run that's his order" I replied to him

"That's his order for you, now im ordering you to ride on my motorcycle and trust me, you want to see nicholas walking right?" I nodded "then hop on we need to help him" I didn't know why but I seem to trust her I seem to believe her, her voice full of confidence and she seems smart and knows what she is doing, I pointed where our cabin is located and as we get closer I can see kuya nick fending off by himself he obviously standing his ground but I can see he will soon be overwhelmed by the sheer number of monsters.

she gas up her motorcycle so we can reach kuya nick as fast as we could, she drift in the sand and stop near our cabin, she threw away her helmet and shouted "nicholas we're here!" kuya nick seems to recognized her voice and without even looking "Celine praise the Gods you're here, I dont mind you helping me please!" he then looked back on our direction while shielding himself and when he's about to give us a smile he then realized I was there with the satchel and his smile turns into an outrage "WHAT THE FREAKING HELL!!!! MICHEAL WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE!!! I SPECIFICALLY TOLD YOU TO RUN!!!" he's so enrage.

"Nicholas chill" Celine said "I brought him back for reinforcement" she winks at him and jump into the fight "Celine why did you do that???" kuya nick replied and I'm surprised how he was fighting with a spear and shield and talking to us at the same time "Celine he doesn't know how to fight" kuya nick said.

"Whaat?! what have you been doing with him for the past years?! have you gone soft and senile" Celine said while she is fighting with her dagger and she seems on par with nicholas in terms of fighting ability.

"So the favorite Little girl was here! Celine White The daughter of the goddess of war, I spared you when He left you and now here you are asking me to sap your life out!" spoked by the monster.

"Sorry makhai Not today" celine replied "I just wanted the satchel and all this will be over I'll leave you all alone except for nicholas here who gave us a hard time" the monster celine called a makhai - I don't know what a makhai is and I was standing looking at them in disbelief how coordinated Celine and kuya Nick's moves.

"the Boy have returned with my mother's satchel! Bring the boy to me!" the makhai shouted - I don't know what to do thoughts are running in and out of my mind, is this the end? will I die now? should I ran? I just closed my eyes and I hears Celine and Kuya Nick both saying Run as much as I want my feet is not following me.

all I want is to help them both, I want to help them and before I opened my eyes I heard the soldiers of the makhai who he has sent to get me howled in pain and as I opened my eyes I saw the soldiers are already been pierced by trees sprouted beside me, I'm as surprised as kuya Nick and Celine, I honestly Didn't know if I did it or not.

"So he is one of the demigods of the picky Goddesses, he is a son of Demeter" the makhai said.

Son of demeter? is that one of the Goddess kuya Nick used to tell me, he used to tell me stories about gods and goddesses - and if my memory serves me right she is the Goddess of harvest and earth, and again did I heard it right I'm her son? how? when? my brain is flooded with questions but my attention is caught by how the sprouted coconut trees are dancing defending me against the enemies and then I jolt of realization, that what the monster said all of it must be true.

as we cut the enemies one by one up until only few are left.

"Still wanna fight Makhai? seems like our friend there Just woken up his powers and he got more juice to fend you all" Celine said

"Makhai I'll be more than happy to finish this once and for all" Kuya Nick said

the makhai looked pissed but he then ordered his soldiers to back off "Brothers and Sisters we need to retreat" he shouted "I didn't expected this sly daughter of the goddess of war and the son of the goddess of harvest and earth to be this handful, but trust me you foolish demigods I'll be back and I'll definitely destroy you" the makhai swore onto us.

and just a blink of an eye they we're all gone like a bubble, and as we regrouped I immediately told kuya nick "Kuya Nick I need some answers right now!"
