The wet rain drops passed down the window, and the hail hit even harder on the roof. The cabin in the woods wasn't fit for an everyday person, but for someone who who was ready to pounce on prey, who was ready to feast on their own victims.

Bearclaw Willy, the man who lived in the cabin, was not normal. He was one who would turn on you in an instant. He'd already killed 29 people, and no one ever dared to catch the man, for he would kill them.

It had been 247 days since his last murder spree, which he killed 3 people, and burned them in the fireplace in the cabin. The fireplace wasn't large at all, but it was large enough to burn a hot fire on a cold night.

Jeffrey Caluga, aged 14, lived in Snowy Mountain, Colorado. He loved it there, that's where he had grown up, and he'd heard the stories of a bear terrorizing whole towns! Of course, he wasn't one to believe these tales.

The day, October 30, 1987. The place, Snowy Mountain, Colorado. The person, Jeffrey Caluga. It was Halloween Eve, and there were reports of the bear, Bearclaw, coming to terrorize small-town Snowy Mountain. Jeffrey was still defiant about the bear terrorizing people and towns.

"Don't ever be doubtful... of the mountain man in the woods." said Ms. Gavelstone, Jeffrey's neighbor. The two were sitting on her front porch, playing checkers.

"Ms. Gavelstone, you don't really believe the stories about Bearclaw terrorizing us tonight, do you?" Jeffrey asked the old lady.

"I can never be sure... or unsure."

"Well, yes, but don't you think it's quite ridicu-"

"Nothing, dear Jeffrey, is quite ridiculous. My uncle perished due to the bear."

Silence. Jeffrey kept his quiet.
