In The DC World With A System

The man who interrupted their talks and gave Thomas a chance to relax while not being under the watch of a psycho genius is the famous Playboy of Gotham, Bruce Wayne.

He was a white male approximately in his mid-30s. He stood tall, at around 6'2 inches, with short black hair and blue eyes. He was heavily muscled, owing to the intensive training regimen he undertook to operate as Batman.

He wears a blue suit with a blue tie.

By his side, there is a glamorous woman. If his memory serves him right, she is the current cover model of the Playboy magazine.

To hide his identity as Batman, He is often seen with different models and actresses.

It has worked wonders for him so far.

" Ahh, Bruce, you are here too. I am here to greet the young heir of the Allens Family." Quincy Sharp greeted Bruce with a smile but it is a very forced one.

This is another thing to the persona of Bruce Wayne. No one likes him. If not for his status as the only living Wayne, and the enormous wealth and connections, he would be mugged by every person around him.

Almost everyone who meets him curses him behind his back.

Bruce gave him an uninterested look and turns towards Thomas.

He gave him a look full of contempt and spoke out rudely, " So you are the rich brat who came to play here. I thought you were older but in the end, you are a kid. "

Thomas's eyes twitched on hearing him speak like this. The guards by his side and his assistants are also angered by him.

If not for Thomas signaling them to stay back, they may have attached him.

' You are too much into this disguise of yours. I really want to beat the shit out of you.' Thomas shouted in his heart.

He apologized to Bruce for his guard's aggressive stance against him and calmly said, "I am sorry to disappoint your expectations, Mr. Wayne. But, I am here to work and not play around and waste my parent's money as you do." He took a shot at the eccentric behavior of Bruce Wayne.

This shot taken by Thomas on Bruce Wayne seems to make the reporters around them feel like they have discovered a gold mine.

The famous genius and the playboy clashing against each other is seen as a rich source of news and front cover material for tomorrow news.

The seemingly boring task has taken an interesting turn in a flash.

" Oh, it seems that the little guy knows how to bite. " Bruce walks in front of Thomas. He looked down on him and said.

Sharp noticed that things seem to be going way out of hands and wished to stop them from escalating things, but Hugo is very interested in this event and stops him from intervening.

He placed his hands on Thomas's shoulders and spoke softly, " I don't like it when someone brings up my parents. If you aren't a kid you would be on the ground now." He warned him and to stress his words he gripped his shoulders hard enough to make an average person wince.

The words of Bruce are heard by everyone present here.

The reporter is working their pens at top speed to record all these. The billionaire Wayne threatening an 18-year-old genius is a very big matter.

But Thomas isn't an average person.

Thomas doesn't take threats kindly. After Bruce threatened him all semblance of calm was thrown away. He is going to start taking harsh shots at the billionaire.

" Oh, did Mr. Wayne not like to hear about it? It is understandable, after all, if they are still around they would be very disappointed with you.

I would be really disappointed to have such a son if I was them." He mocked Bruce.

Bruce's eyes turn cold when he saw this kid using his parents to target him. Anyone who knows Batman knows that his parents are his sore spot and all mercy is thrown out of the window when they are involved.

" Didn't your parents teach you, not to speak ill of the dead?" Bruce snarled at Thomas.

Thomas shot back, " I didn't speak ill of your parents, Mr. Wayne. I spoke ill of you.

Your parents were such great people. No one in Gotham or even in the United States of America can say your parents are bad men.

They are the paragon of justice and good. The shining white knight who tried to help those in the shadows.

But, you are an embarrassment to such heroes. You who only indulge in chivalry and vices. The only thing you have common with them is you have their blood, nothing else.

You don't possess even an ounce of their good qualities. " His words were too sharp.

Bruce was angry, very angry now. He is just a step away from nailing this kid in the face. The only thing stopping him is that he is a kid.

Thomas has targeted another sire spot of his. He wished to live up to the expectations of his parents. Much of his activities as Batman have their teachings.

He has a hidden fear of not living up to their expectations or making them disappointed.

Everyone held their breath when they listened to this. The only thing heard was the flashing of the camera and the scratches of the pen on the notepad.

For the reporter, it is more pure than gold.

Thomas wasn't done just yet, " I know why you are here. You are jealous, aren't you? I have got the best of my parents but you except for good looks you got from your parents, you don't have anything to connect to them.

You yearn for that connection and my presence amplifies that feeling in you. So you wish to mock me and feel better. But sorry Mr. Wayne, I couldn't help you achieve your goal." This mockery was all that was needed to let Bruce Wayne forget the one he is targeting is a kid.

He punched Thomas on his face.

Thomas staggered a few steps from the hit. He has a big bruise on the right side of his face from the hit.

" You... You punched me." Thomas uttered in shock and then retaliation comes.

Thomas rained his punches on the handsome face of Bruce Wayne.

Bruce Wayne has a bruise on his face now.

A slugfest began between the two and they started rolling on the ground.

Although they both fought each other, neither of them used their full power.

The reporters rushed forward breaking and started taking photos of their fight.

Recovering from the initial shock, the guards of Thomas and the one of the Zeus Hotel came forward to separate them.

The guards pushed the reporters back and then went on to separate the famous second-generation rich people.

Their clothes are now torn from the fight and there are boot marks on the clothes too.

The two gave each other a savage look abd if not for being held back, they would have started fighting again.

Hugo motioned to Sharp and he acted as he is asked.

" Please take Mr. Allens to his penthouse room. We will talk to each other later. I think you must be tired and should have a good rest." Sharp intervened and separated the two.

Even if the two seem unwilling, his identity as the mayor of Gotham must be respected by these two.

With a loud huff, Thomas adjusted his clothes and walked into the Hotel not caring about anyone around him.
