" You are a very annoying pest." She declared Thomas as annoying. She walks out of her altar because her magic has been interrupted.

While the other two have no idea what make her so livid, they understand one thing, Thomas is doomed.

" Would you forgive me, if I say I am sorry?" He pleaded to her.

She giggled at his pleading face, " Do you think these tricks will work on me?" And waved her hands, suddenly a crater a formed around her and multiple rock golems rose from underground.

" You think these elementals are worthy to be my opponent. If they are Lord level, maybe I will have to expend some effort but these are just bugs I can trample anytime I want. " This time the four elementals are bound in a magic sphere which seem to reduce in size as time passed.

In a couple of seconds, the few meter tall elementals become as tiny as a cube of sugar and finally disappeared.

" What other tricks do you have to take me down?" She mocked Thomas.

As soon as started to walk towards Thomas, Balthazar has a plan on how to deal with her. He has started acting.

Thomas understands his job is to distract Morgana abd that he did.

" Mana overdrive" he shouted.

His body was covered with magic and his powers are increased exponentially. In this state, all his magic trick are three times stronger.

After the elementals left the plane as their physical form is destroyed Thomas can use Elemental magic once again.

He created three replicas of himself in this state and started to use large scale magic.

" Water magic : Tsunami"

" Wind Style : Storm"

" Earth style : Rupture"

As for Thomas himself used, " Space magic: Isolation"

These magic centered around Morgana.

A tsunami wave trapped her from all sides, The ground on which she stood ruptured while many spikes are hurled her way, and a rising column of wind falls from the sky trapping her.

As for the final magic, Thomas has frozen the space around themselves, making it rigid and preventing anyone from escaping through teleport.

Dave looked at this attack with awe thinking the enemy was down but the frantic looks of Thomas abd Balthazar said something else all together.

For a normal sorcerer, this is a deadly blow but the most powerful one's like those of Merlin and Morgana, this will only restrict their movements for some time, after which they will break out of this attack.

" Thomas, you are very impressive. You can use such level magic at such a young age. I guess soon there will be another sorcerer on Merlin and my level. " she now has a look of regret on her face, " Unfortunately, you side with my enemy. I will have to end you."

She stepped out of the attack completely unharmed and destroyed the trick with another wave of hands.

" Field of an Archmage " he muttered as he sensed that every magic attack against her is weakened considerably on the basis of strength difference.

( The Field of Archmage is a pressure field which decreases the strength of mage weaker than archmage. In this sphere, all mages suffer a reduction in strength, even if the other mage himself is an Archmage.

An Archmage' Field effect can only be countered with another Archmage field.)

Unfortunately Thomas doesn't have one as he isn't one.

She formed a plasma bolt in her hands at lightning speed and hurled it at him.

First few plasma bolts are stopped by the barrier. She increased the frequency of her attacks which hired him into the air.

" You are good, but you should know the side effect of Mirror magic don't you. " She looks at her downed opponent with amus.e.m.e.nt.

" Side effect?" Dave asked not aware what she was talking about.

Morgan's didn't seem to hear his question or his words as he isn't someone worthy of attention.

( She still doesn't know that Dave is Merlin's Successor, Prime Merlinean. So he is just a nobody for her.)

" After every use of Mirror Magic, there must be a gap of a day or you suffer a very excruciating pain. He even used Mana Overdrive, which means his magic will go haywire soon. You used Mirror magic twice as well as Mana overdrive in less than an hour time, I wonder how long can you endure before you go crazy?" She looked at him with amus.e.m.e.nt hoping the drama will begin soon.

" Oh you are already in pain abd holding it back. You are quite resilient both in body and soul. But an injury of that level cannot be subdued with just will power." She looked at his pale face.

" Why? He only used it once against you." Dave was still confused not sure how his fate become like this.

" Mirror Magic divide the soul into different mirror images of the sorcerer. This division cause much stress on the soul and it cannot be sustained for more than an hour, or there might be some defects in the soul.

He used this magic earlier to help that girl break the array I was using for the Rising. " She even formed a virtual form of how mirror Magic works in the air.

Her words made him understand why she was furious at Thomas.

She then showed how continuous and repeated partition without time for repair does to one's soul.

" As for mana overdrive, it increased the production and acc.u.mulation of mana in the body. It put great stress on the body. After using it, a sorcerer cannot move even a muscle for ten or so days. " she smiles amusingly, " In the end, all his efforts will be for naught."

Balthazar preparations are done at that very moment. He understands better than Dave what Thomas has done to buy him time. This increases his determination to act greatly.

He shouted out, " Thomas actions brought me tome to put an end to your reign and protect Veronica from your clutches. "

He swiped his hands around his head as if pulling something.

Morgana's soul in Veronica body was pulled out and into his body without much resistant. This was the effect of Space magic which Thomas used.

Unlike other magic, Space magic is static and it's effect won't dissipate unless someone cracks it or time has passed.

Thomas was still conscious even though he grimaced in pain.

The conversation between Balthazar, Veronica and Dave was going on when Morgana broke put of Balthazar's body and her soul was freed.

" You all will die for interfering in my work. Perish" she shouted and sent out a flame wave at him.

Without their rings they cannot protect themselves, as for Thomas he was in no position to move.

Even though they have no hope, Dave came forward to defend them. Surprisingly, he erected a barrier which saved them and put Morgana in shock for a few seconds.

This is the moment Thomas awaited, he shouted loud, " Dave jump away from there."

Dave without any second thought jumped away from the center where Morgana stood with Balthazar and Veronica in tow.

A thunder bolt stuck Morgana's ghostly body.

" You are a ghost which makes you weak to lighting. Be extinguished. " He shouted.

A giant magic array was formed above the park and lightning clouds gathered in the sky. This array was firmed by the thunderbird Thomas has left to battle the bull. It was a plan he prepared for when her soul is out in the open.

These lightning fell on Morgana. Her cries and screeches can be heard.

The park seem to attack the lightning and multiple flashes happened here. When the attack ended, only a tired form remained. It seems like she used much of her magic to survive the onslaught.

She glared at the foe who was responsible for her pitiful state. She sneered, " You failed. Your actions bore no fruit. In the end, you do die painfully even if I don't act. "

Thomas laughed, " It was never my place to defeat you. I only wanted to weaken you. It is his destiny to eradicate you after all. " he points at the dazed Dave and then encouraged his friend with a painful grimace on his face, "I put my trust on you. Everything depends on you, Dave. "

After those words, Thomas fell on the ground unconscious. And with his fainting, Thunderbird also disappeared.
