The surprise kiss initiated by Selina Kyle was too shocking for Angela. Her eyes widened and her mouth was opened in shock, giving entry to her tongue.

This made her lose her grip on the metallic rod, which fell on the ground with a chatter.

Selina wraps her arms around Angela's neck and pulled her close, but didn't lose her grip on the waist. This time it was those sensual hold with their c.h.e.s.t rubbing against one another.

Selina runs her hands on her cheeks, rubbing them which caused the face mask to peel off. Angela is too shocked to act and was completely under Selina's control.

The two hot and s.e.xy babes kissed for a few minutes, more like Angela coming to her senses and trying to move her opponent off her, while Selina clinging to her body and attacking her weak spots making her m.o.a.n under the kiss.

Selina did another thing surprising, when the guard of Angela was at the lowest, ( lowest after she had got the grip and recovered from the shock of the kiss), she wrapped her arms around Angela and held her as a hostage.

" Whaaa" Angela was shocked once again by this surprising change of events which took place twice in such a short moment.

She stood up and had a small pocket knife around Angela's neck whose sharp end was on her neck.

She held Angela and threatened Thomas, " Release Irene or your partner dies. " To stress the point she jabs the knife a little and a drop of blood was spilled.

Angela was s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e after the little foreplay with Selina and this little wound made her most once again. It seemed like her senses aren't completely under her control. This state of hers made her feel too embarrassed to meet Thomas's eyes and she looked anywhere but there.

But Thomas isn't anxious, more like he is completely relaxed with no tension.

He nibbled on the snacks, aka potato ch.i.p.s and replied back uncaringly, "You wouldn't dare. That knife can only hurt her and not kill her. Should you do anything to her, your ward will die.

Don't forget my girlfriend is a fighter and won't go down easily. On the other hand, your ward is but a kid. Do you think she can survive the assault from an a.d.u.l.t? " To stress his point he put his hands on Irene's head.

The young girl was very frightened and looked at her guardian hoping that she will save him. She doesn't wish to die so young. She wants to grow and help Selina, she wished to see the world.

Thomas isn't joking when he said he will kill Irene. If his family or any loved one is threatened or put in harms way he will not show any mercy.

He will hunt down that person and kill everyone related to him, to make sure no one survives to take the revenge. The only ones lucky enough to live will be the infants who can be raised and trained to be loyal to himself.

This is a very cruel thing, but the world is too cruel, so why should Thomas be any different.

Selina is someone who can be of use to him, she is very beautiful making her a good eye candy but that's that. Anyone who harm his family is doomed, no exception.

Hell, if Angela his childhood friend and girlfriend do anything which can put his family in danger knowing what her actions can lead to, Thomas won't be showing her mercy. In contrary to that, he will be even more ruthless making sure she plead for the torture to end. She plead for death.

For him, his family is the most important thing.

But all this will only happen should she do anything which threatens the family. If she doesn't do that then all is well and good.

" I will not say it again, untie her or i will kill your lover. " Selina once again threatened Angela and tried to bargain for her ward's safety.

Angela knows Thomas. The small pocket knife doesn't threaten her life and Thomas has an agent whoch speeds up recovery. She isn't nervous about her safety. It helps that Thomas has passed on something which can be useful should Selina dare to take that step.

Thomas didn't say anything. He picked up the metal rod which has rolled over to his side, and crushed it with his free hand and then asked, "Do you dare to take the risk?"

Selina and Irene had their eyes widened on seeing this display of strength. They know it was a solid rod and not a brittle one which can be crumbled. If he can do that then it is very simple thing for him to crush Irene's head like a watermelon.

" You are a devil." She cursed Thomas and removed the hold on Angela's hands.

Thomas chuckled at her words and said coldly, " This world is a cruel one. As a person who have lived his entire life in Gotham, you should know the absolute truth of the world. " his words made them forget everything about them.

The charm that Thomas gave off made them look at Thomas hypnotically.

" There is never a good guy or a bad guy. Only those who is a lesser evil. " These words may look ruthless but this is the eternal truth of the world. These words are especially applicable in Gotham.

Even though Selina felt these words are correct, she is angry at the two intruders. She asked angrily while her eyes are trained at Irene, "I don't want to hear any of your philosophical work. Get to point and say what do you want from me?"

Thomas didn't ask how she knows they require her assistance and said, "I need your assistance in looking after some establishment I wish to build at Arkham. You will be the overseer of that and make sure things are alright. "

Selina and Irene looked at Thomas as if he is an idiot. ' How can anyone trust a complete stranger to work and look after his things?' Thomas knows what these looks mean and said, " Do you think you can betray me, and live well?" He asked them with a kind smile on his face but he looked like a devil at this moment.

The threat which Selina felt from Thomas is amplified greatly when she looks at him now. Her instincts screamed at her, 'never to offend him or there is nothing which can save them. '

Angela walked to Thomas and rested her head on his shoulders. She felt safe by his side and finally asked, "What are your thoughts on this matter?"
