In The DC World With A System

The incident which took place in Gotham just now attracted a lot of attention from many superpower groups. One such group even came forward and sent it's warrior to deal with the situation at hands.

This group are the Amazons, who reside in the Themyscira, also known as Paradise Island, hidden away from the Modern world and keeping an eye on threats which may put the world in danger.

In the Assembly Hall of Themyscira, a decision was made by the Queen of Amazons, Hippolyta. There are two more people with her, they are her daughters, Diana and Donna.

Diana asked her mother, " Mother why have you asked us to come meet you at this time?"

It was dead of the night and their mother never called them unless there is something big has been happening in the world of men.

Unlike the impulsiveness of her sister, Donna asked, " Mother, is it related to the mother boxes?" She has been guarding the boxes and she has felt them acting for sometime now. There is a chance it might be related to that.

" No it is not related to that. Apparently, a demon worshipper has opened the gateway to hell. With time, the gateway will expand and the army from Hell may invade this realm.

Diana, head to the source and deal with it. The mother boxes reacting as well as the opening of gateway is a sign that something big is going to happen. " she ordered her daughter to deal with the threat which has descended on Gotham.

Donna is worried about her sister and insisted, " But mother, this is too dangerous. Diana cannot go there alone. Please allow me to join her in this. " she knows the dangers which lie on the path. She can not let her sister suffer.

" No, if you too leave then the defense of Themyscira will be weakened. I cannot protect the lands on my own, you have to remain here." Hippolyta declined her request without a second thought, as of she doesn't care about her daughter's safety. But both sisters know it better.

She then handed over a magical needle along with a box, to her daughter, Diana, and revealed its use, " The gateway to hell can only be closed with magical assistance. Your divine blood can only hold them back.

I sense a very powerful mage in the city where the gateway is. This compass will help you find him. Seek his aid to complete this task. " Hippolyta revealed the existence of Thomas and asked her daughter to seek his help.

" How powerful is this mage, mother?" Donna asked feeling skeptic about the help her mother talked about.

Hippolyta isn't offended but feels gratified seeing the close bond between her daughters. She smiles and answers, " Powerful enough to detect my exploration. The moment I used the magical mirror to explore he felt my presence and expelled me. "

" What, how dare a mortal act like that to the Queen of Amazons? He shade be punished for his actions. " Donna thundered when he heard what happened. She remembered how the healer reported to her about her mother's injury. To think a mortal dared to attack her mother made her want to slaughter him.

Diana has similar expression and age promised her sister, " Don't worry sister. I will teach him a lesson in your behalf. "

Hippolyta saw this and scolded them, " If not for his actions, the gateway would be big enough to summon the demon lords. His quick actions has saved the world of men."

" Then why haven't he acted yet? Why isn't the gateway destroyed? " Donna asked thinking why haven't he taken actions when he is so powerful to prohibit entry of large and powerful demons.

" Because it is not worth it. " she sighed after saying that. She felt surprised by the actions of this mage. He acted in order to protect yet he didn't want to act completely. In his opinion, he has done enough and he gets nothing out of the deal. He doesn't need to work hard.

She explained the character of the mage, " He will not act unless he is offered something as payment. That box contains the relic of Goddess Hecate.

He has given me the word that he will provide as much help as required should his efforts are awarded beforehand. " she knows the greed of men yet this mage is something else completely. He is uncaring about what his lack of actions can lead to.

" how can we trust this greedy mage then, mother? Who is to say he will not betray us should the demons provide him a better option?" Donna asked not willing to trust this voracious man.

Hippolyta sighed and said, " We can do nothing but trust him. Should he betray us then the spell on the relic will take his life. " She remarked coldly. She herself doesn't like to seek the help of that mage but only he can help them. Other mages are too far away to reach there in time.

Who knows if he is offended and helped the demons instead. That would be a disaster for the mortals and Themyscira too would suffer from this.

" Head to Gotham, daughter. Every second is important. May the Gods be with you." she advised her daughter and asked her to act fast.

Similar to how Themyscira reacted another institute responded to the event taking place in Gotham.

It was the Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defence (BPRD).

A large red man with broken horns on his head and a long tail asked an old man rudely, " Why are you sending me to Gotham now? You always wanted me to stay away from that mad house, so why now?"

The old man didn't seem to care about his rudeness and addressed the woman by his side, "Liz, the gateway to hell has been opened there. Make sure that gateway is eradicated.

There is a mage who may help you in this endeavor. Find him." She nods and make way to live while the big red man followed.

" There may be some help. Don't be rude to them and accept it, for you will need all the need you can get. " he advised them before their departure.

Superman who lived in Metropolis also flew towards Gotham after the explosion happened. He felt things aren't simple and decided to see if his help was needed.

Just like that the heroes are dispatched to deal with the current threat. As for the one mage whom everyone was talking about and is closest to the threat, he is busy. He is busy in his research.
