incapable dreams

After discussing with the Emperor and Empress, me and Emily made our way outside.

As we were going down the stairs, I slipped and felt myself falling. I closed my eyes but felt something grabbing my arm.

Or someone.

I turned around to see a young guard about my age with hazel eyes.

"Are you Okay?" He asked.

"Y... yes." I flattered.

I put my foot down on a step and quickly hurried down.

I felt my face heat up.

Why was I so clumsy?

"You were saved from a fall! Watch where your going sometimes." Emily said to me.

"I-I know let's just get outside!" I said.

Once we were outside, I felt relieved.

"I have to go now and so should you." Emily said.

"Okay, um bye." I said with a wave.

"Bye." Emily said and I found myself back in my dorm.

I still felt cold from Zemenine.

I sighed.

My father was here and I had to fight him off.

I felt a wave of emotions. My father loved me or my family and he wanted to find me and do what? He wanted to go back to Zemenime and conquer all of them?

It was all possible.

But my mind wandered back to the guard who saved me from falling.

No!

I can't be thinking about him! I need to get some fresh air!

I hopped out from bed and was about to open the window when I heard rapid knocks on the door.

"OPEN THE DOOR AMELIA!" said a scruffy urgent voice.

"I KNOW YOUR IN THERE!!"

I dropped on the ground afraid that whoever was behind that door would barge in at anytime and I was unprepared.

I decided to hide under the bed like I used to when I was little.

"IF YOUR NOT GOING TO OPEN THIS DARN DOOR... YOU WILL FACE SOME CONSEQUENCES!" The voice continued. By the sound of it, I guessed it was a male but I didn't know who it was...

I shut my eyes and waited from the unpredictable moment.
