Zhang Zhengdao looked at a blueprint in Wang Ke’s hands, and his eyes widened.

“What... What is this? Is this a house? Why does it look so strange to me?” Zhang Zhengdao gasped.

“This is the God Wang Tower! We are going to start building this! Right in the Wolf Cultivation Town!” Wang Ke explained.

“Plaza? Is this a blueprint? One story on top of another? Thirty stories? Wouldn’t this count as a hill already? How can that be possible? Also, the walls on the four sides are made of crystals? Where are you going to find such big pieces of cut crystals?” Zhang Zhengdao was baffled.

“You know nothing! This is called ‘glass’! I invented it a long time ago! It’s just that I didn’t show it to illiterates like you!” Wang Ke boasted.

“Ah?” Zhang Zhengdao was confused.

He thought he had learned enough secrets, but look at Wang Ke! The latter flipped out another pile of blueprints. What’s that?The secret art for crafting artifacts?No, he’s not crafting artifacts, he’s building strange houses?Damn. I’ve never seen these before!

Wang Ke ignored Zhang Zhengdao. It’s just a building! Those business towers back on Earth were equipped with high-tech electronics, which I can’t reproduce; I’m in a different civilization after all. “How are the preparations coming along?” he asked.

One of them answered respectfully, “Clan Lord, we bought a huge portion of land in the Wolf Cultivation Town as you commanded. Of course, no one dared to interfere with the purchase because of your position as the East Wolf Deputy Hall Lord; they were bought at the lowest price possible. We can start working at any time!”

“Good,” Wang Ke said, “We did some underground work back in the Qing Capital; you should know the drill. We have improved the mixture of reinforced concrete. At the same time, the pipelines connecting each floor must be set flawlessly. Sewage and the septic tank should be built under supervision too! Safety first! Understand?”

“Understood!” the clan members replied.

“Don’t be afraid to spend more money this time. Gather Innate Stage workers from every cultivation town in the Ten-thousand Great Mountains. Make it big! God Wang Tower is our first building and headquarters. It’s a milestone for us! I don’t want it to be under the rug; I want the entire world to know!” Wang Ke ordered.

“Understood!” that subordinate replied.

“Next, taps, bathtubs, all types of screws and nuts, and kinds of marble, metal, porcelain, suspensions. Send orders to artifact workshops in all the seventy-two cultivation towns in the Ten-thousand Great Mountains. Make it clear to them that this isn’t the only order. God Wang Tower is just the beginning; there will be branch buildings afterwards. Whoever dares to trick us out of our money will be cutting ties with us!” Wang Ke continued.

“Yes, Clan Lord!” that subordinate acknowledged.

“Don’t be afraid to spend. I have all the money we need!” Wang Ke said, “Once the tower is done, whatever installation is needed inside the tower, always pick the best. The tower must be built strictly according to my design. Strictly follow my little cousin sister’s details when it comes to furnishing. She has a better aesthetic sense than all of you combined!”

“Roger!”

“And I want it fast! I want to see the speed the Wang Clan has!” Wang Ke reminded them.

“Understood!”

“Send the blueprint out. Do everything strictly according to the measurements I gave you! Whoever makes a mistake will be sent to your third grand-uncle for punishment!” Wang Ke commanded.

“We will!” the clan members replied.

All the servants on Sword-study Peak immediately set about their tasks.

Zhang Zhengdao looked at Wang Ke, jaw dropped. What the hell is he trying to do?He’s just building a house. Why must he be so exaggerated?And to call it God Wang Tower?

“Zhang Zhengdao, you should go out and watch how they work too,” Wang Ke said, “Also, head over to the workshops providing us and see if there are any troublemakers. Beat the crap out of them if you find any; if you can’t deal with them, go find my second senior apprentice and tell him I need help. Ask him to deploy some brothers to settle everything!”

“Wang Ke, how much of a stir are you aiming for? Making purchases in all the seventy-two towns? Do you have that much money?” Zhang Zhengdao said in astonishment.

Wang Ke rolled his eyes at Zhang Zhengdao. Are you nuts? Why would I be building this tower if I had no money?

Wang Ke ignored Zhang Zhengdao and returned to the Sword-study Hall to refine the Dao Jade.

Since Wang Ke was prepared to establish the God Wang Company, the building was not just bland talk. The construction blueprint he had made out of boredom many years back was finally being put into use. It was only a pirated version with focus on outer appearance. Still, just appearances would do since he wasn’t going to live inside it.

Wang Ke had enough capital to construct that tall building. He had not dared to build it before as he didn’t have a powerful backing, and merely continued to rake in money while he rented houses to get past each day.

But now, he had no fear! Because he was the Heavenly Wolf Sect’s East Wolf Deputy Hall Lord! And also the Divine Dragon Branch Lord!

How awesome. I’m a big deal on both sides!Who shall I fear now?

As for money? How much had Wang Ke raked in? Just the Snake King’s treasures alone were enough to pay for the building.

Wang Ke focused on refining the Dao Jade and forge it into the God Wang Company Seal. He had no time for inconsequential chatter with Zhang Zhengdao.

Those inside the Heavenly Wolf Sect could already see things unfolding in the Wolf Cultivation Town within three days.

“Rumble!”

A loud noise came from the neatly arranged piece of land and caught the curious attention of many from the Heavenly Wolf Sect.

The Innate Stage workers gathered from all the seventy-two cultivation towns arrived one after the other. Concurrently, the Wang Clan members gave them just-in-time training before sending them to their jobs; each of them was given a safety helmet.

First, workers’ dormitories were built beside the actual site, but many Innate Stage workers looked unhappy about the arrangement.

Still, they couldn’t do much about it; no one dared to cause a ruckus since the project had been initiated by the Heavenly Wolf Deputy Hall Lord, and they were right next to the Heavenly Wolf Sect. Meanwhile, Zhang Zhengdao continued to patrol the grounds every day.

Wang Ke asked Tie Liuyun to gather a bunch of senior apprentice-brothers to supervise the workers, and the latter agreed without hesitation. Wang Ke was fair; his senior apprentice-brothers helped him look after the construction site while he showed his appreciation by paying them justly. All those seniors praised him.

The Innate Stage cultivators worked to level the ground with as much efficiency as machinery back on Earth.

Ten days later, in the East Wolf Hall.

Murong Luguang returned from pursuing Tong An'an and noticed all the movements in the Wolf Cultivation Town. And so, he asked his juniors.

“What’s happening?” Murong Luguang asked with a frown, “ Where did Wang Ke recruit so many people? What are they doing? How noisy! How can anyone cultivate?”

A junior replied, “We don’t know either! They were leveling the ground some time ago, then digging the place. The last two days have been especially noisy; I heard it’s because they were driving piles into the earth and filling in the concrete!”

Murong Luguang understood every word, but somehow, he couldn't understand after connecting the words. Driving piles?Pouring concrete?What are all these?

“The Sect Lord allowed Wang Ke to create all this mess?” Murong Luguang asked.

“The Sect Lord went to ask Wang Ke yesterday. Wang Ke said he had mentioned it to us before, that he wanted to establish a business. He is now building a store, called something like... God Wang Tower?” that junior replied.

Murong Luguang: “.........................!”

“Eldest apprentice-brother, should we go and stop them…?” that junior asked with a frown.

“Nope,” Murong Luguang said calculatingly, “Humph, Wang Ke didn’t cause trouble for me; I won’t do that to him either. Just in case he accuses me of troubling him because of Princess Youyue. Humph! He’s doing all of that outside the sect and its protection array. I shall wait and see what trouble awaits him!”
