Insanity At Its Best

"That was a pretty good story, kind sir…..although, I have no idea talking about….hahaha," said Jake.

"What?—you're telling me that you don't know who I am?" Damion shouted.

Jake continued to laugh maniacally; Damion grew to worry about his friend. Jake was in a straight jacket, with chains on his wrists, hanging from the sides of the room in solitary confinement, result for his actions for slaughtering a dozen lives in search of Zoe as he realized that she was non-existent. This happened at a stretch for weeks. He began this process after the incident. Damion walks after the room as he is worried about his friend. He leaned against the wall and gave out a loud sigh; a lady appeared from the hallway and approached him. Damion spoke;

"So, what do you think, doctor? How long do you think he is going to be like this?"

"Well...it's hard to explain as he is the most difficult patient I had to deal with....despite his insanity, he was the individual that introduced magic to the world that us humans were blind to see. I honestly do not know, I mean—is his insanity a part of his knowledge to more magic? Does that explain why he is more powerful than all of us? But that cannot be as he keep mentioning about someone by the name of 'Zoe'...we researched her in our database but apparently a person like that doesn't exist", said the doctor.

"Yeah…..Jake mentioned about her to me when the battle was over. He introduced me to her but apparently she doesn't appear to be real", said Damion.

"Hmmmmm...….however I don't know why he imagined a girl. Maybe to make it easy for him to handle this situation, because he couldn't have been able to handle this all on his own....Maybe he wanted to feel loved by someone, That could also be a theory as he is been alone for a long time," said the doctor.

"Well not being loved for around 22 years can be pretty sad," said Damion.

"22 YEARS?? That's his age…..How? Parents? Girlfriend? Exes?.....anyone?" said the doctor.

"No, Jake never knew his parents from the start, He never had a girlfriend or an ex.....Jake never brought anyone close to him as he was worried that the person might not love him or just won't be able to understand him....He told me this before our childhood incident. I never knew why he thought that. After the incident, he left the school, became so strong that he could be able to wipe out almost anything, and then after only he revealed the world that magic exists. He is a mass murderer and a psycho but this is not him. Trust me, I know him," Damion assured.

The doctor told Damion to return to his residence and obtain some rest and if anything were to happen, he would be the first to know. Damion walked out of the hospital, walked to his bike, started and revved the bike but still was troubled in his mind on whether Jake is going to be alright. Damion drove off and arrived at his house 15 minutes later. He took a shower, checked his messages and dozed off.........…

"NOOOOO! JAKE!"

"AHHHHHHH! THAT F***ING BURNS! AHHHHHHHHH...HEHEHEHE....HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU'RE GONNA F***ING PAY FOR THIS--...…AHHHHHH."

"JAKE! JAKE ......…..JAKE!"

Damion woke in shock and horror. He panted for a quite a while, he drank the glass of water on his nightstand and rose out of his bed. He soon started to get out of bed and make breakfast but he was troubled by his cell buzzing at its max and bursting volume. He answered the call and a voice said;

"Hello! Good morning, Damion."

"Oh! Good morning, doctor. I wasn't expecting a call from you at first light. I woke up a few seconds ago, is everything ok?" said Damion.

"No, that is why I called you. Something happened with Jake," said the doctor.

"Jake? Is he okay? Should I come there immediately?" said Damion.

"I think you should...…Jake...…..He escaped," said the doctor.

Damion dropped his phone and stood in shock. He bolted around the house, grabbed a few things and drove to where the doctor is. Meanwhile, Jake found himself on a pearly platform with a glistening throne and a cup of purified water in his hand. Jake gets a strange feeling that he has been here before. A voice then said;

"Hehe....don't worry! The water is ok, just drink it. Sorry to disturb you but we need to talk."

"Wait! It's you again! You're God!" said Jake.

"A little rude but yeah...….I'm terribly sorry about...Zoe," he said.

Jake immediately burst out in aura, glanced at the Divine One behind him, charged his fists with raging fire, with tears in his eyes and whilst attacking, he said;

"Why? Where is she? Tell me!"
