Tomorrow morning, he stirred at the coldness, finding the bed already devoid of his Goddess. He found that a pity somehow, before recalling he had a session with Bell this morning.

He grouchily woke up, tending himself, and donned his armor which had found cleaned and polished from grimes. There's already breakfast on the table when he about to depart, almost forgetting his empty stomach. Ereshkigal had overseen his lunch. She made a basket of sandwiches for probably a few days worth. Although there's no sign of the goddess at the house, she probably out to the town. He throws it to the [Planar Gate] as to not spoil it. He ought to praise the goddess later when he got back.

He has been thinking about how to train bells, the boy will probably have to face several foes that had a severe advantage in terms of combat experience and level. Although he was rather skeptical in their experience against a humanoid opponent other than some mindless monsters who often fought in number.

The Dragonborn experience at the Tamriel, which he admits rather Orthodox when faced with enemies above his level is to simply dodge or… sneak sniping when he was feeling lazy. That or simply restoration spamming. Easier said and done when this time you got only one life and no-load or save game to bail your a.s.s.

"Mr. Knight!"

He saw bell waved at him enthusiastically the moment the boy saw the armor-donned figure enter his vision. Let's see how enthusiastic you will be once you saw the training menu. He better not disappoint. The Khajiit simply raised his hand as he got closer.

"Are you ready, Bell?"

"Yes!"

He nodded, and they unceremoniously marched towards the maw of the dungeon, along with countless others that morning.

"Which floor will we be going to?"

"20th"

"Eh 20!?"

Exclaimed the boy as the knight simply tilted his head, "You have something, Bell?"

"No!… It just I have never been there before, and I heard you had to bring a full party to even hope to match monsters that roamed the area."

"There's a plan for 14th floor but the area isn't really favorable, and to lack of better terms, too easy for your level."

"But I'm just level 2 you know!"

The knight scoffed at the words, "This knight heard that Antares is just as might as an autumn breeze."

"This and that is different! Ah, how should I tell Ms. Eina after this."

"This one heard someone got whipped, so much for a harem." The knight already tried to not recoil at the mention of the half-elf receptionist, her figures while lovely, somehow instill fear to both of them, albeit the Dragonborn won't really admit it. He had Ereshkigal to fill that role anyway.

"Mr. Knight, can I ask you a favor?"

"Do tell."

"Secret?"

He c.o.c.ked his head, before both of them nodding resolutely, "Secret."

The journey down there was awfully boring for the Khajiit, he didn't have to hide the secret in front of Bell who just watching from behind as they cleared the road. The effect of his so-called curse already not baffled him that much, one plus one, is still two after all. The real challenge is mishaps lay on the lower floor but that's for another time.

Bell for his part, only watches in awe and admiration, no matter how strong he is currently, deep inside he was only a farm boy who had an idol fetish for heroes and strong figures. He couldn't tell how easy it is for the Khajiit hidden behind the armor, collecting all of that magic stones with ease as the knight simply willed for them to come.

He remembered the day when he had to collect magic stone, one by one, after a battle, not to mention how hard it is to search dropped magic stone with the size of grain sand. That's the perk of a newbie on the upper floor, after all, inwardly he sighed. Thanks to Lily he now doesn't have to collect all those stones anymore. There's a reason why he thinks supporter job is such a big deal going as far as splitting his earning into half.

The other thing he immediately noticed, that monsters are awfully strong near the Knight vicinity. The goblin had black skin, and the war shadow turns to white. That's a sign of mutation, Eina ever told of him. However something like that should be the case of rare encounters, but the Knight seems to attract them in great number en masse.

It was as there's a great stampede, but he didn't hear the scream of other adventurers yet. Still despite that, the Knight easily dispatched them as fish swimming against the current. It was like breathing to the knight, he wonders if he could someday reach those levels.

It got him to think if he can survive the 20th floor when on the 14th he had to fight with mutated Minotaurs and Almiraj. It's been a few hours he recalled, the knight noticed bell exhaustion and throws him a green vial.

"We'll rest on the 18th floor for a few hours."

They had to fight monster Rex on the 17th floor, it made him small of how the knight nonchalantly smacked the blackened Goliath to submission. It made all of his effort defeating it, even with the help of hundred adventurers, small in comparison.

Bell couldn't fault the Knight for his upcoming training method, they had limited time, and he already had a simple outline of what the training entails seeing all of the mutated monsters. His stomach lurched at the implication but he wasn't Bell Cranel for nothing if this degree cowered him.

The armored figure in front of him steadily walked, brandishing his already crimson mace, slowly another figure appeared beside the first one. A girl he desperately wanted to reach. Alas, all he could do is to compare his small and pitiable self. How he had reached here? Not without Welf, not without Lily, not without his beloved goddess, nor countless others that helped him.

There's never been a time where Bell feels not adequate in his dream. Right. He'd learned in countless tales that hero is not without fault, and they made not without help. His live hood was threatened on the whim of god because he is weak. No more.

His sight set quickly once again in front of him. It's not his hand that will reach, but his feet already dashed towards them.

There's never been a time where Bell feels so resolute in his time, and he had no idea how helpful that shall be.

Unbeknown to him, his back glowed slightly, slowly peeling his greatest gift that was hidden behind a layer of certain goddess protection.
