09: We had a good night in bed together

The dinner was very good too!

Bread with hardened bread and nuts. Egg roasted in beef stew and fresh fruit for dessert in salad.

Seems like the captain cared that there was only one spoon or fork at a time, but I don't care if it's an indirect kiss or anything and it's okay.

I wonder if it's because my family, friends, and I normalized spinning and drinking and eating.

The fruit was the apple itself in color, shape and flavour. That's a different world. After all, food culture doesn't seem to make much difference.

The captain told me that basic bread and noodles are staple foods in this country.

But they don't even have rice. Looks like there's something like risotto or doria.

Rice was the staple food in my country! When I said, look forward to some days when the rice comes out, and the captain said to me with a slightly gentle face.

I guess it's better for all the servants to come home before the rice comes out.

Then I can eat one serving properly without the captain bothering me.

Yeah, well, I also heard about the guy who was cooking the dishes I was wondering about.

Actually, they have about two ex-military cooks.

Not enough to fight on the front line, but you didn't evacuate because you could protect yourself enough?

Of course, there's no way just two of us can cook an entire army of rice, and they say the crew is helping us with it around.

Sometimes we camp, so it's normal for everyone to cook as easy as possible.

Are you surprisingly feminine, soldier? Oh, shit. I might lose.

I had dinner listening to that, and after dinner I spent some time thinking about it.

I had the lights turned off once and also tried to see if I could put them on properly.

I don't know how it works, but they say there's a spirit in me, so Mr. Spirit, please! I asked for it inside, and it came on light.

Is it so easy? Well, I'm glad it was easy.

They told me there was magic, but if the Spirit could use it instead, I don't know if you have a chance to learn magic.

But it was time for a good night.

"You use the bed. I'll sleep on the couch."

And it's what the captain says, so come on. Oh, my God.

"No, you can't use the bed without the room owner! I'm not ungrateful like that!

This is my claim.

You're right. You should be right.

I didn't say anything wrong as one.

"I'm saying I'm good. No need to shy away."

"Don't, let me! I categorically refuse!

The captain's claims haven't changed since just now either.

Maybe it's lady first or something like that, but I think there are times when that's not supposed to be the time to be adapted.

The captain is protecting this fort, and hence the country.

I need to get some rest when I can.

"I'm tinier, and I think it's for the couch. Even the captain wants to sleep in a big bed, right?

"That's what I can tell you."

"Mm-hmm. Captain, I'm stubborn..."

Neither gives way to a single step.

Isn't that strange?

'Cause this is the captain's bunk, and I've been down.

And yet, why are you trying to prioritize me?

"Now that I know the captain is gentle enough, please sleep quietly in bed"

"... not being nice or anything like that"

"So what is it?

"You must be a woman"

"It doesn't matter. The captain should rest properly."

I knew you'd say it!

I am a woman, indeed. Besides, a woman who can't even protect herself when she's in trouble.

That's why I need to get the captain to sleep properly.

For example, if a demon or something comes into this room, which is unlikely, the captain has to fight.

You won't even abandon me because I'm talking about the captain.

The captain should take precedence over me if I can't fight.

Silence ensues.

The captain and I both feel like we're having a rough time.

Since the first time I was trying to sleep, it's been more than enough of a loose end.

If we're stubborn together, we need to find a compromise somewhere.

"Are you going to sleep with me now? Like yesterday."

When I said that, I was engraved between the captain's eyebrows.

Oh, it could have been a silence, like yesterday.

You mean we slept together yesterday, or you mean different. Feels like I need to read it in depth.

But well, leave it there now.

"I just feel like my sleep is getting shorter for pranks if I keep it up. It comes to mind, isn't it a good idea?

"... are you good with that?

"No, nothing. I suggested it."

I wouldn't suggest it in the first place if it didn't work.

This is just what I thought was the best way to keep the captain asleep.

"... ok"

I think it took more than a minute for the captain to nod.

Don't mess with me, Captain. But this is my win, isn't it?

Humph made me laugh like I was proud to win, and one more crease between the captain's eyebrows.

Come into bed with me, lie down.

That said, the bed is terribly spacious, so there's enough room between me and the captain for people to lie down one more time.

You're not passing on your temperature or anything at all. Is this bed king size after all?

But I can hear you breathing just fine.

You're sleeping next door, aren't you, Captain?

Still awake, right?

"Uh... don't you?

That's what the word that came out thinking I'd call you something.

Oh, the captain put it away.

I can hear the noise so flashy with the go-between, but will it be okay?

"... what are you talking about"

"Ya, 'cause you're meeting me for the first time. I don't know if that's what this is about."

I speak to the low voices that cast the earth.

I wonder if a man's meal is a delicious dish.

I don't even think that's why you shouldn't leave the room.

Is that it? Could it just be a mistake?

"I guess it wasn't your will"

The captain exhales deeply.

Even in the room where the lights were turned off, the moonlight and starlight coming in through the window faintly remind me of the person sleeping next door.

"Well, it is. It felt so good that I didn't think it was okay."

I didn't have much experience with that. Still, it felt the best I've ever felt.

The captain is a handsome guy of his choice, and I already know he's a good guy.

When you asked me if I wanted to, that's not what I was thinking, but I was wondering if I could do that.

"Oh, if you say it's not the captain's preference, I can't help it, sorry"

"I'm not..."

The captain also has the right to choose people, and apologizing returns a false denial.

Then what is it?

You want to sleep faster than you do that, or what?

Come to think of it, we were supposed to sleep together so that we wouldn't lose our sleep, so if that makes the crumbs loose, is it the end of the line?

"A little more, take care of yourself. I know you're not my in-laws."

The captain's hand was stretched out and he pounded my head twice.

That gesture was too gentle for me to say anything.

Bye, really.

He just said goodwill, don't leave this room.

Take care of yourself, I can't believe I've never been told before.

I didn't mean to take care of it, and no one around me was that clean.

I'm just doing what I want, so that's fine.

That's what I thought, myself and my friends.

Like the captain, there was no one to worry about.

"... Captain, you're a good man"

Without particular consciousness, I was spilling that way.

That's what I thought from the heart.

"If you're a really good person, you don't hold the first woman you ever met."

I knew I cared, there.

I accidentally got a laugh.

You even apologized to me for being grounded, so I should have forgotten.

But I'm sure the serious captain will care all the time.

I could easily imagine it and couldn't stop laughing any more.

"There, you see, human beings can be a bit of a fool to remove a shark."

How I always just take off my shark.

So I don't think the captain is a bad adult.

"You've changed."

"Oh, I'm used to being told, that"

You think it's weird, weird, funny.

You're not complimenting me on that, are you? Absolutely, I think every time they say that.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm going to be normal.

I wonder if that means it's off normal for a large number of people.

"I don't hold it anymore. So go to sleep in peace."

The captain's voice is calm and clear.

I really meant to. 'Cause it was something I knew so well.

Don't worry, I'm just a little worried.

Because I don't believe in the captain, not something like that.

"That's too bad..."

That my words would only have sounded like a joke to the captain.

Of course, it doesn't mean as it is.

But.

Really, a little silly, I thought it was a shame.
