Its Just A Game

Chapter 69 - ...

Slowly moving back to stop them from surrounding me. They looked baffled at what appeared before them.

A simple offering.

A man in armour that is just oh so slightly more polished than his allies Spoke up sending me a glare along with it."Why would we Accept this, we have you cornered. We have you outnumbered. You have nowhere to escape."

Moving to the side I reveal my entry point. "I'm pretty sure I have somewhere I can go. Also didn't they outnumber me but now look at them Decoration among the walls, And I'm Pretty Sure, I, outnumber you."

"Ha, they had their trinkets, Which failed. I have my team, who have been trained to deal with your type."

"I don't know about their loyalty towards you tho. As the dead don't seem to have much loyalty towards your type."

"I ACCEPT, Jjjust get it off me!"

"Sorry a little late on the uptake there mate and a little dead."

The group of soldiers turned back almost in unison to be greeted by more than half of their numbers either dead or Well dead with a slight case of Insomnia.

"I COMMAND YOU, DO NOT ACCEPT. We will win, Just hold these off as I deal with Him." A Kite shield appeared in his off hand as his spear was pulled closer into his body.

He moved forward slowly. Bunched down behind his shield. Then his shield shook and the front came flying off as Golden chains spaning out from its sides. Trying to move to the side the chains latched onto my left arm tightly wrapping around it.

I lost all feeling in my arm as It started to twitch as the skin cracked and pitch black fur pushed it's way out. From under the skins. The skin Hardened quickly taking on a Violet colour as my fingers extended out sharpening themselves as they did so until they were almost doubled in size. The chain was radiating a dull golden hue as it tightened around my arm.

In the back, several of the portals started flickering before dissipating leaving a single portal spewing out the little void bugs.

Flexing my new arm I stared down at the man before me. "Is that supposed to hurt or something?"

"It just proves you are less than human."

"Well, at least I'm still alive. Unlike yourself." Raising my foot I slammed it onto his shield sending him tumbling back into his men. Not allowing him any room to recover I grabbed the top of his shield pulling on it. As my left arm went around reaching to grab him.

Latching onto his arm I ripped him from his shield throwing the shield behind me. With my new freehand, I ripped the spear from his hand tossing it to the ground. Switching my grip on him as he started squirming in my grip I got a good hold of both his arms and legs I started pulling. An ooh so beautiful crackling was greeting my ears as his joints were fighting to stay strong amidst his screams.

Out of the corner of my eye along my arm, something caught my attention the shell was crackling along with him craking dropping him to the ground I kicked him to the corner. I searing sensation spread along my forearm as it alit ablaze in a miniature fiery explosion sending shard of shell flying.

Leaving behind a withered husk of a hand with glowing red veins pulsing under the skin.

It hurt. It felt as if something was crawling underneath my skin trying to rip its way out. Grunting I reached towards the chain looking for one of the ends but the ends were burrowed into my arm. Feeling a few sharp pains in my stomach, A few of the soldiers turned around prodding at me with their spears. Along with the sound of marching echoing around me once more.

"F.u.c.k it, I shoulda bought enough time." moving to the hole I made early I excused myself from the situation.

Unfolding my wings I weaved my way towards the building force of soldiers below me.

Upon landing on the ground Cilys came running over with Krenzek.

"Oy, ya ok?"

"I'm as fit as a fiddle just a little Inconvenience."

Digging my fingers under one of the ends of the chain I ripped it out unwrapping from my arm ripping the last end out. "There we go brand new."Dropping the chain to the ground flexing my hand.

It wasn't healing. Actually, it was hurting again. Shards of dyed red ice started pushing their way out of my skin Completely encasing my arm in a thick layer of red ice.

"F.u.c.k that stings." Trying to shake the pain away. A Golden glint caught my eye. Looking over to my forearm again the golden chain was once again tightly wrapped around it. Glancing to the ground the chain was still laying there with its golden hue shimmering.
