Its Just A Game

Once again I dug my hand into the chain ripping it out holding it in my hand. Glancing between the one in my hand, the one lying on the ground and my arm. I watched as the flesh in my arm around where the chain was started producing a silver liquid, Which started bubbling as it formed an entirely new chain wrapping around my arm. After it finished forming a golden shimmer overtook it becoming a perfect replica of the previous two. Looking back over to the one in my hand and on the ground. The one in my hand was quickly losing its golden hue until it was a simple metal chain. Glancing at the one on the ground it was still simmering away. Bending down to pick it up. I noticed Krenzeks enlarged goblin frame Bolt to my back. Turning my head, krenzek body was overtaken in a fury of fire as he was sent stumbling back Bumping into me as he steadied himself.

Turning around I Scanned to find where it came from. I noticed an onslaught of fireballs and lightning bolts raining down upon the portal leading to the pocket dimension.

"Cilys, How many of those can you block."

"I can block about 4 or 5 of those before the damage might begin showing."

"Shit, Cilys go and grab as many mages and cultivators as you can that are proficient in barrier magic or any type of shielding arts and rush them out here so we can get the rest of the armed forces out here safely, and do it quickly."

Glancing around at the foot troops already out here taking up defensive stances protecting themselves from the oncoming onslaught. Glancing over to my skills, a small smile crept upon my face.

"Might as well fight fire with fire."

Flapping my wings I rose to the skies once more to meet the onslaught head on I started channelling mana into my arms as magic began building up around me forming large boulders, balls of fire, balls of wriggling vines.

The building up of the elements felt like an eternity as I felt the mana that saturated my flesh, dissipate into the surrounding birthing a barrage of elements, but it lasted only a fraction of a second. As the elemental barrage crashed into the onslaught lighting the sky up around me in a fiery display of lights as balls of fire were caught in each other explosions causing a chain reaction creating a growing net of explosions growing around me as the epicentre.

The wind brushed against my skin chilling it as the explosions sent gusts of wind and bits of materials flying smashing into the ground below. Glancing down at the soldiers below me luckily no one seemed to be seriously injured some knocked over some shields dented or shattered but none dead so that's a plus.

Glancing at the chain of explosions that bought us a little time. I wouldn't be able to stop another volley if they sent anything that less volatile, now that I wasted so much mana.

Glancing at the nearby buildings, My stupidity dawned on me. "Everyone, Enter a house seek cover there until the Mages are out." Glancing at the soldier rushing into the houses seeking cover. "Hopefully they can take a few volleys of fire before they start collapsing."

Soon the second volley came this time it was a volley of ice and earth. The ice shards and balls of earth came crashing down with frightening speed as they smashed into the building they went through the roof but stopped on the second floor with a loud thud causing the building to creak and groan as the building barely held up from the stress of the impact.

Glancing at the portal. The first group of people came out since I sent Cilys back, shrowded under a shimmering blue dome. Scanning the area as they marched out. Shields at the ready and staff raised fueling the dome protecting them from any potential harm. Glancing at the sky, the airsh.i.p.s were rotating around the city systematically blasting parts of the city as they made their way around. Toppling some of the smaller houses. Slowly as they pulled away from the city. Firing a few more blasts into the city as they were getting further away.

"Why, Why are they leaving."

But due to the forced system interference on your behalf, the faction forced to leave will be awarded for their endeavour and not allowed to attack you until the end of the tutorial or you strike them. In which you will be opting out of the tutorials protection.}
