Jack: Hey. How are you?

Jessica: Who are you?

Jack: Very funny, we met last night.

Jessica: I did?

Jack: Do you seriously not remember me? We met at the bar.

Jessica: I don't really remember anything last night, to be honest.

Jack: Do you usually forget things?

Jessica: Not very often, but every now and then I feel like there are holes in my memory.

Jack: Well, I confessed to you and you accepted.

Jessica: Ha. Ha. More importantly, what did we talk about?

Jack: It was mostly small talk with quite a bit of gossip on the Dark Phantom.

Jessica: Yes, the Dark Phantom's great for business. However, there not much I know about him.

Jack: Okay. I'll see you around Jessica.

I walk away from Jessica afraid that she'll find out that she gave us a free room for a week. The fact that Jessica lost her memory is wrong. She's not old enough to be losing memory so it would make sense that she didn't lose her memory but was knocked out and replaced with someone else. I rush over to Eve to talk about what I learned and to talk about the strange conversation I had with Jessica. After searching for a couple of minutes I found her mopping the floor. The first thing I realized was that she had bandages on her arm.

Jack: Hey, did you get hurt?

Eve: No, I'm fine.

Jack: Then why are you wearing bandages.

Eve: I lost a bet. What can you do?

Jack: Well, did you know that Jessica doesn't remember that she met us last night. Apparently, she has amnesia but I'm not buying that. I'm not Olga but I can tell that this situation smells fishy.

Eve: Maybe he's drugging people or making illusions of things that aren't there. Maybe it's not that she doesn't remember her, but we mistook her for someone else.

Jack: That doesn't make any sense though. The old man confirmed that we talked to the boss and got the free room so if it was me seeing things then the old man wouldn't have confirmed my story.

Eve: What could it possibly be then?

Jack: I was thinking that Dark Phantom could be a shapeshifter and is merely transforming into other people to suit his purpose. That could explain why no one knows what he looks like because he can change into anyone.

Eve: If that's the case then we need to establish a secret code known only to the two of us.

Jack: How about we make the dust the secret code because of who I am.

Eve: Dust? Why's that represent who you are?

Jack: What do you mean it's obvious that I'm from the Schnee dust company to anyone of my world, but to anyone of this world it wouldn't exist. Isn't that right Dark Phantom!

Dark Phantom: We meet face to face finally. The fact you haven't found me already given all the hints I've given you is shocking, to say the least.

Jack: Hints? What hints?

Dark Phantom: I'm sure you'll figure it out, but I'll take my leave.

Jack: HEY! TELL ME WHERE EVE IS!

I grabbed onto Eve (Dark Phantom) to stop her from getting away. Instead of getting worried or scared she just smiled. Her face then scrounged up and she started yelling that she didn't want to go with me and that she just wanted to go back to work. Being faced with the other residents of the inn giving me the stink eye, I let her go and she ran off somewhere else. At least I can tell roughly why he's never been caught before now. Even if he was caught as long as he pulled a stunt like that even if I didn't let go then everyone else would force me too. When did Eve get taken? I know I haven't been watching her every move, but I checked in relatively frequently. Unless it happened on the first night we came here, and I fell asleep. Maybe I didn't fall asleep or was drugged instead. I don't know where he has gone, but I will find him again. From now on I'm devoting my time to finding Dark Phantom and saving Eve. Later, that evening, I went outside and summoned a Nevermore, so I can get an aerial view of the town. I went up high enough so that people didn't notice something flying above them in the sky. I used to aura to strengthen my eyesight and look for any traces of the Dark Phantom committing any crimes. Once I caught him then I'll make him pay. I would sleep in the day so that I would be fully alert at night to catch him. I sometimes saw Eve doing her duties in the inn and she would smile and wave to me when I saw her. This was just his way of taunting me. I kept up this up for a couple of days until I finally caught someone jumping from rooftop to rooftop matching a description of the Dark Phantom. I jumped down from the Nevermore and used one of my glyphs to break my fall and give me a boost in his direction. I grabbed him and tackled him off a roof.
