Jack Schnee [RWBY]

Another person appeared on the battlefield to help out the monster horde. I feel slightly relieved that there's now another person that trying to stop this wave of Grimm. It's still strange as to why so much Grimm is attacking in the first place. When I was here years ago to stop the Grimm, there wasn't that many Grimm that was attracted to the town. What's different now as opposed to before? I ponder these questions as I continue to fight what seems to be an endless wave of Grimm. It's gotten to the point where I have to continuously devour aura from my surroundings to keep fighting. After a little while, I see someone among the horde of Grimm and he seems to be running straight to the middle-aged old man with blue hair. I watch as the man splits into four people and begins to attack the blue-haired man. I enhanced my hearing to hear the conversation while I rush over to the other side of the battlefield.

[Dark Phantom POV]

These stupid Grimm are so annoying. I have to take time out of my busy schedule to come to fight some Grimm. If it wasn't because of the people in this town, I never would've come. I fight by using my semblance to create lightning which I use to enhance my speed to get into a desirable position. After that, I use my dagger to cut through the Grimm and move on to the next one. The Grimm are easy opponents. All I have to do is quickly get behind them or above them and slash their heads off. After killing a bunch of Grimm, I heard this man screaming in the distance. I glance over to see a person who should've been dead. How is he still alive? I know I killed him already, so why? I could see the look of hatred and rage on his face as he split into four as he charged at me. There's nothing to do but fight this ghost.

Ghost: I came back here for the sole purpose of finding you. How dare you kill me! You had nothing to do with that family, you stuck your nose where it didn't belong.

All four versions of him dash toward me and swing his ax down at me. I quickly enhance my speed again and easily dodge his attacks. I have to beat them one by one just like before. I got behind him and stabbed him where his heart should be, but instead of the flesh and blood that I was expecting to stab into, I felt metal. I couldn't pierce it and he spun around and kicked me in the side. I was pushed away into another clone where he slashed his ax sideways at me. I tried to dodge, but he manages to leave a nasty scar on the side of my body. Another one appears and tries to swing his ax down at me. Expecting another attack, I quickly move out of the way and punch him the face.

Hitting his face hurts my hand, it seems much harder than it was before. Thinking he's gotten me on the ropes, he charges in again and I send a shock-wave of electrical energy outwards from myself in all directions. All four versions of himself get pushed back, but they all look relatively unharmed. He looks at me and laughs. I stare back and yell in anger.

Dark Phantom: WHY! JUST DIE ALREADY! I NEVER WANT TO SEE YOUR UGLY FACE AGAIN! AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO THEM, TO ME.

Ghost: You can't kill me now. I've been given a body that perfectly counters your abilities. Your electric attacks and your dagger will do nothing to me, but I've never seen you before so what could II have done to you.

Dark Phantom: I have no need telling a dead man.

Ghost: I'll pry it out of you sooner or later.

Dark Phantom: I hate you so much. I won't rest until I kill you again.

I observe his entire body to look for anything useful. I glance over to the one I punched and see a bit of metal where his cheek is, probably meaning that his entire body is made of metal. I can't use my electricity to deal serious damage and breaking apart four daggers with my dagger is doubtful, to say the least. I could abandon this body, but he's right in front of me and getting into contact with such a convenient and strong person to suit my needs is pretty hard. Just thinking about how hopeless this is, aggravates me. Meanwhile, the only thing I can do is use my semblance to dodge all of his attacks. As long as I concentrate, then I can dodge all the clones, but this is getting nowhere. I can't let him go back to that house. I know all the pain he caused for me, my mom, and siblings. I won't let him do it again. I do know his weakness from before. Hopefully, it's still the same. When the main body dies then the remaining ones disappear. After fighting them for a while, I noticed that one of them seems to hang back and doesn't attack as much. I build up my electrical energy in my hands and feet. I push my body to the limit and to anyone else, I would look like a blur. I quickly make it to him and use almost all my energy to stab through his c.h.e.s.t and use my energy to blast him to dust. I could see the look of fear on his face as he explodes into different pieces. I look over to see two of his clones fade away. The explosion pushes me back and I take some damage, but nothing some time and rest won't fix. I look down at his remains and smile. Hopefully, he stays dead this time. I laugh evilly as I savor the taste of victory. It was then that out of the corner of my eye I see an ax about to slash down at me. I don't dodge in time and get another cut on my body. No. No. NO!

Dark Phantom: JUST DIE OLD MAN!

I tried stabbing him again but this time, when his ax hits my dagger it shatters into pieces. After seeing the dazed look on my face, he punches me in the face and sends me flying a couple of feet away.

Ghost: The only one who ever called me an old man was a disrespectful brat named...

Dark Phantom: SHUT UP! I DON'T WANT MY NAME TO BE CALLED BY SOMEONE AS DISGUSTING AS YOU!

I try standing up again only to lean over in pain. I'm out of aura and don't have the energy to keep going. I watch as he slowly approaches me until he's right above me. I guess this body is done for, but I swear I'll have my revenge. His ax swings down and this time, I know I can't dodge it. I close my eyes and await my demise.
