After SD got locked, we all separated and TC quit, MT quit, KK disappeared, and I kept playing.

I did solos again, and I ran into my 2 buddys from before, I saw them luring 2 guys over, and I'm like lets go help.

SS saw me, and was excited, and RD saw me and well meh, more the better I guess. Turned out they were luring... but not really? They never asked them to drop anything, or go into dangerous areas, or bank anything... We just took 1 person or 2 people at a time.. to a location near the GE.

Where RD would tell the 2 people (one of them was us), asking them what they would want from his inventory and he'd show them rares. They'd freak out thinking they're in a rare give away, and they were chosen or some shit. RD would pick one of us, and we'd freak out saying its legit. (2 trade) We had to be suspicious first though, otherwise it would be an obvious scam.

Haha I still remember the day we went top of Varrock Castle, we had 4 people, Me, SS, RD and 2 other victims, the one guy we scammed in front of him, he tried telling the other guy it was a scam, and we spammed for 20 minutes straight freaking out, trying to get this kids words out of the box before the kid could see it. We ended up getting 540M that time, it was great, me and SS had a blast, haha it was so addicting..

This is a perfect example of how the doubling scam would work perfectly. Multiple people spamming and freaking out in an excited manner like they won the lottery, making a diversion from whats really going on behind the scene.
