Jedi Reincarnated In Fairy Tail

Chapter 8 - The Magical Library

Wandering past everything in town and into the woods where he first got lost in, Orion followed his instincts to a mysterious destination.

For hours, or so he thought, Orion continued to travel through the vast empty forest by himself. With no end, or sight of a structure he still continued to walk through the forest confidently.

While stepping over a pile of root, suddenly Orion tripped and stumbled forward. As he fell forward a cloud energy passed over him, almost like phasing through a bubble. Passing through this energy layer a veil of mist suddenly unveiled what was hidden.

There in all its glory was a gigantic tower that spiraled towards the clouds and above. The tower had curved markings that swirled to the top. At the base of the tower, there was a circular gate that had a black circle in the middle.

Surprised at this new discovery, Orion followed the signs and moved towards the gate. The entire area around the tower was overgrown with vegetation that hasn't been touched in years.

Brushing away the vines, Orion used a force push to clear the path to the tower gate.

When touched the golden gate was warm and seemingly sparking with energy. Bring his hand forward, the gate suddenly sparked to life and began to open by itself.

Bursting open, the golden gates opened up to reveal a gigantic library that was filled to the brim with books. Every shelf, wall, and even the floor was filled with books that spiraled upwards.

Surprised by the ocean of books, Orion still felt the Force trying to guide him somewhere deeper in the library. Making his way past the books and towards an empty wall, Orion suddenly stopped. Reaching a hand to grope the wall to find a lever or mechanism, turned up empty.

Sighing in frustration, Orion decided a different approach to this. Trying to draw on his new magical power, he pushed it towards the wall and waited for a reaction. For a few seconds nothing happened and the wall remained unmoved.

Just as he was about to give up, the wall suddenly disappeared and a black hole replaced it. The dark abyss was completely black and had no light present.

Suspicious of the black hole, Orion reached out slightly to feel the black mist, but suddenly his hand was frozen. Like an actual hole, it pulled Orion into itself and left no room for evasion.

With no means of stopping himself, Orion's entire body was pulled into the swirling black mist. Feeling completely weightless for a sec, Orion was suddenly thrown to the ground and came to a complete stop.

Picking himself off the ground and standing to his feet, Orion took a chance to look at his surroundings.

Sitting on pedestals in a dark empty room we're a bunch of books. Each pedestal was waist high and had a book with no titles. Each book was a different color and an entirely different aura around it.

Making his way past the weirdly displayed books, Orion suddenly felt a pull towards a certain pedestal in the back. Moving past the tens of books, suddenly a certain book flipped opened with a bang.

Slightly startled by this, Orion turned to see that an isolated pedestal with a large gray book was slammed opened. Walking towards this opened book, he looked on the inside of the cover to see that in cursive it was written 'Tech-Make.'

Intrigued by these words, Orion moved to touch the page and was startled when the pages began to flip at an accelerated pace. As the pages started to run out, the very words on the book flew off the pages. The black ink floated above Orion's head while gathering together in a large sphere.

Taken aback by the floating words, Orion was about to move when the ball of ink rushed towards his head. With no time to move the words impacted against Orion's forehead and everything went dark.

Crumpling to his knees, Orion's eyes were still open but were filled to the brim with swirling letter. Lines of writing seemed to passing through his eyes as a white aura sprung up around Orion. Growing in size, the magic aura lit up the entire room until it was brightly illuminating everything.

For a few minutes the white aura seemed like it wasn't ever going to stop, until suddenly it began to recede towards its source. The white energy swirled back into Orion's body and quickly died out. Orion then fell face forward into the stone floor.

"...Arghh!!....kriffing hell!" Orion g.r.o.a.n.e.d while pushing himself from off the stone floor.

Standing up while grabbing his aching head, Orion found something different. From his mind knowledge seemed to pour through in droves. Different techniques and methods of manipulating magic just seemed to appear in his head.

After the transfer of information, Orion finally pulled all the knowledge he received and then focus on his magic.

In midair a large magic circle was in the middle of forming. The circle was formed with circuitry lines of a computer perfect flowing into each other. At the center of it was the insignia of the Jedi Order in white.

Staring at the magic emblem in wonder, Orion instinctively knew how to use the magic he had somehow received.

" Tech-Make: Minor Golem." Orion announced softly while a small black robot appeared from the magic circle.

Fall to the floor, the small black and silver circular bot seemed to be able to move by itself. Moving it's large black glassy eye, the robot swerved its eye to look at Orion.

"...Greetings, Master. I am M1-0. How may I help you?" The droid addressed Orion, while he looked shocked by his creation.

Looking at the robot, it was an almost perfect replica of the astromech that Orion had as a partner on his starfighter. Straight down to the same paint job and even the same antenna wire.

"I-I'm good for now M1-0." Orion responded, while shocked that the droid could speak.

Tilting it's circular head forward, as if nodding its head the droid spoke. "I shall await to be of service."

Seemingly shutting itself down, the astromech went into a semi-sleep state of deactivation.

Studying the robot some more, Orion felt a link between him and his creation. He could feel the inner workings of the robot, and even see through its eyes. Fascinated by this new magic, Orion found that he had knowledge of other spells. although some spell seemed to be block, so he couldn't access them yet.

Even more amazed by the magical book that gave him this magic, Orion looked up study it again, but noticed it was gone. In fact, the whole room was completely gone and Orion was standing in the woods.

Spinning around to look for the massive tower, Orion was shocked to see that all traces of the tower were completely gone.

Still confused at what had just happened and where the tower went, Orion decided to leave it alone for now and head back to his apartment. Suddenly hearing movement behind, Orion turned to see that M1-0 was rolling next to him.

Making his way out of the forest, Orion found himself standing in front of Magnolia Town. He made his way towards his apartment instead of the guild, as today was extremely tiring and confusing.

Unlocking his apartment and taking a seat on his chair, Orion let out a tired sigh while closing his eyes. As Orion's eyes were closed, he mentally reviewed the new knowledge he had received about Tech-Make Magic.

Tech-Make Magic is a Caster-Type magic that is used by molding mages. By molding machinery and technology, you can create anything with enough magic and a creative imagination. The complexity of each creation depends on the user's own mind and experience with machinery, thus a skilled mechanic can create many types of tools or magical creations.

After reviewing the magic description, Orion was amazed by the possibilities of what he could achieve with this magic. Just from all of his experiences with technology all over the galaxy, Orion had tons of different things just waiting to be created.

Although he never invented anything, Orion was extremely well versed with technology and a skilled mechanic. He himself could construct and deconstruct his starfighter, if given enough time. Tinkering with machinery was actually a way for Orion to relax before and after a battle or mission.

Opening his eyes while leaning forward, Orion brought both of his hands forward and concentrated. With his magic and imagination, he molded something that would be a huge help.

As the bright blue magical seal appeared, something began to form from the floor up.

Slowly moving up the magic circle soon finished it's creation. From the magic circle, a large black communications transponder appeared. The transponder was 100 times stronger than Orion's normal communicator, and it was so large that it scr.a.p.ed against the ceiling.

Wiping his sweat, Orion was satisfied with his work and immediately turned it on. Flipping a few switches and swiping his hand across a screen, the communicator sparked to life.

Letting out a cheer in joy, Orion quickly searched for a signal to connect with and send his message.

Searching for a few minutes and pressing a few more buttons, Orion suddenly slammed his fist against the device, slightly denting the metal.

With anger clearly shown on his face as he looked at the machine, Orion could see that from the black screen that it said a single sentence, 'No Nearby Signal Located.'

This new transponder Orion had created had a range of at least 80 Light years from this planet. If it couldn't reach any cell tower, than that means Orion is stranded on some backwater galaxy away from any planets even capable of light speed, or space travel.

With no means of even knowing what system he was in, Orion fell back into his seat and g.r.o.a.n.e.d. While groan with his eyes closed Orion suddenly felt something touch his leg.

Against his leg, M1-0 seemed to be trying to grab his attention.

"What's wrong, Master?" The astromech asked.

Forgetting that the droid was here, Orion quickly sat up. "I'm fine, M1-0. I'm just frustrated with something."

"Oh..is there anything I could help

with?" The droid asked while eagerly rolling forward.

"No I'm- wait, actually I was hoping you could tell me something. Since I just recently made you. What information do you have at the moment?" Orion curiously asked the droid.

Almost immediately the droid replied. "At the moment, my data banks are filled with basic galactic information and knowledge of hardware repair. No further instructions have been programmed, so I await your commands to perform my duty."

Now with a better understanding of his creation and how they are preprogrammed, Orion asked M1-0 to power down for now.

Thinking about his Tech-Make magic, Orion suddenly realized that he was pretty much a machinery factory, if he perfected his technique. He could create sh.i.p.s, weapons, fighter droids, and even armor for himself.

With all these endless possibilities, this type of magic could indefinitely help the Jedi.

After stripping off his clothing, Orion went to bed while imagining the good his could do for the Jedi Order.

Drifting off into a hazy and calming sleep, Orion suddenly felt himself being pulled into another dream vision. Hearing the repetitive and toe curling screams, the scene suddenly changed when a figure appeared.

Standing tall, while surrounded by black shadows, was a figure dr.a.p.ed in a brown robe. The hood of the robe blocked the figures face from sight.

Suddenly also appearing in this shadowy realm, Orion panicked and slowly moved towards the silent figure.

"..H-hello?" Orion asked while standing in front of the quiet, but familiar figure.

"..I am gone...They are gone...We are gone...All is Lost...Live..Live..." The robed figure continuously muttered in a low voice without pause.

"Hey are you ok?" Orion said while grabbing the figures shoulder.

Suddenly moving, the man grabbed Orion by the throat and lifted him into the air. As he was choked and dangling in the air, Orion finally caught a glimpse of the figures face.

There in all his glory was Orion's master Mace Windu, but there was something wrong. His entire face had burns and there was even electricity trailing across his skin. His eyes were pure white and seemed to be completely dead to the world.

Shocked by his master's appearance, Orion struggled to speak as he was still being choked. "A-arghh....Master- it's me!"

"...ALL IS LOST.....LIVE!...LIVE!... LIVE!" The corpse of Mace Windu continued to chant while continuing to crush Orion's throat.

"Ahhhh!" Screaming out in pain, Orion's threw his hands forward and green electricity shot forward.

As the lighting struck the corpse, it immediately let go of Orion and was thrown away into the darkness as it continued to scream it's repetitive chant.

Breathing heavily, Orion suddenly surged up from his bed and was confused at his surroundings. Seeing that he was still in his apartment and still lying in his bed, he relaxed. Sitting up, Orion looked down at his bed sheets to see that he had burned them while he was sleeping.

Standing up from his bed, Orion looked outside the window to see the sunrise, while thinking about his vision.

"Are you still alive, Master?...Is anyone out there?....I'm I alone?" Orion spoke aloud while staring off into the distance.
