on a moutain plateau, inside a trial ground, we find our mc facing off against an old monkey whose facial features look like Dumbledore, with a huge sword. our mc is tensed as he can feel Dumbledore monkey's aura growing continuously since the start of the face off.

(mc pov)

what is going on ... somehow his aura keeps growing.. he was already much stronger than the alpha wolf like twice as stronger from earlier exchange but now his aura is four times stronger..

is it the sword?? i suddenly used full power shunshin soru to dodge based on my intuition from observation haki.. i was bewildered when suddenly i saw a white light going through where i was before and cut my afterimage in half.

i was shocked and blurted out ' master swordsman?? dont tell me..' i saw Dumbledore monekey still standing in previous position and suddenly saw him slowly swing his sword and felt danger..

' shit, a master swords....monkey. what is with these trial grounds..'

there is a fundamental difference between practitioner rank and next master rank.. in my previous world, the so called weapons master are mostly in upper student rank to initial practitioner rank.. mostly due to body limitations and lack of energy manipulation when performing the art.. that is one of the reasons why i was still in peak of bojutsu practitioner realm for more than a year even with continous training from a master like hiruzen.

the only way to breakthrough is too coincidental and much to do with luck than skill. it seems like Dumbledore monkey is a swords master.. that is the reason his aura keeps climbing... a master with his weapon can increase his battle strength through skill alone..

i twirled my bo staff and applied haki to just my arms and staff while using full body shunshin, soru along with full powers conqueror's and observation only to immediate area.

with that we both lunged at each other.

hiruzen looked melancholic and said 'it seems like the brat is putting everything in line for this fight.. even if he became stronger than when he faced the wolf due to the unknown technique having back to back fights like this should have taken toll on his mental strength.'

minato- its surprising seeing a master swordsman.. we dont have many who can generate sword waves.

kushina- that monkey is not just a master swordsman, he is at the peak of that realm and close to grand master realm. even masters wont be generate such strong sword lights.

mira- grandfather, could sasaki kun win against that ugly monkey?

hiruzen- it depends on his mental fortitude and luck.. he was stuck in practitioner peak for more than 8 months.. lets watch how it goes.

i need to commit to using only my body and bo staff.. no tricks to advance right now. i made it infront of the Dumbledore monkey and there were weapon clashes atleast a ten where i got back and grimaced.

i lost that exchange, it seems like the sword light residue still can injure me.. i see my arms got paper cuts even with armament haki protection.

suddenly the Dumbledore monkey did a 180 and swinged his sword at a huge arc.. i saw a huge sword light coming at me on full force. i gritted my teeth and applied more armament to my bo staff and prepared to b.a.r.e this strike.

it was only a moment when i was resisting the sword strike when i got a glimse of master realm, but it was enough.. i deflected the sword attack to the sky but i was injured on my c.h.e.s.t and shoulder..

i ignored the pain and started swinging my staff and used shunshin soru to sped through our both relative position.. i used a secret technique with what enlightenment i got before, while the Dumbledore monkey got a defensive stance

bojutsu- raining lightning, in this attack i hit the monkey all over the body with increasing momentum after each strike.

the monkey was able to defend against the first 30 or so strikes but it was injured by the end of the attack.

we made our distance again as i slightly bowed towards Dumbledore monkey.. -' you have my thanks, with this fight i can firmly step into master realm. so as thanks i will perform my current strongest attack.'

with that, i gathered all my armament haki to my bo staff and my legs, i also used chakra to further augument my legs where they were slightly deformed due to strain.

it seems the Dumbledore monkey understood my intent, he also prepared a last attack with all his momentum.

we both were still charging our attacks and after a breath of time, i moved i released all the chakra in my feet for this soru technique where the ground under me broke apart while i approached the sound barrier ..

' bojutsu-. mountain drop' with that i dropped the haki and chakra enhanced bo staff head towards the monkey with all my momentum generated in my jump.. at this point i have exhausted almost all my chakra and haki..

this would be my last attack. the dumbledore monkey released his attack too, there was a stalemate between the white sword arc and my attacks red arc between us where we both suffered injuries..

at the last moment i broke through master realm and used that as a momentum to increase the strength in my attack.. i overwhelmed the monkey at the last moment and the sword arc scattered.. my attack hit its head at last, with a surprised expression the Dumbledore monkey finally fell down dead.

i was not much better, both my arms again broke and my legs were not much better, i fell down and closed my eyes with large smile on my face.

i shouted - :' master , i broke through... finally.'

(outside)

the a.d.u.l.ts were stunned while hiruzen smiled brightly seeing his apprentice approach his level of bojutsu ..

minato- tsunade sama, it seems like his body couldnt hold the last attack, how are his injuries, if they are life threatening i am going to summon him back now.

tsunade checking some scrolls, multiple cuts and lacerations over his body, he again broke his arms and his leg muscles are injured too. but not life threatening. we can wait for his confirmation if his regeneration works or not.his chakra levels are low too.

then they saw sasaki getting up into meditative position and started breathing deeply while a green chakra started treating his injuries

tsunade- that brat, i dint know he can use mystic palm technique.. he is spreading medical chakra to his arms and legs while somehow his chakra is being regenerated...

hiruzen- let him continue, he is gaining a lot in this trial and if he is in really critical we can call him out.

kushina- if only he could do some ninjutsu, he could have had an easier time, hiruzen sama where is he in ninjutsu training.

hiruzen- he started on nature manipulation, but then got distracted on all the research he was doing.. when he is back, i will start him on nature transformation again.

after 3 hours i checked my body to see if everything is alright. thank god i checked up on medical chakra generation, even if its week it can augument my healing factor.

i also gained a lot of energy from Dumbledore monkey, it helped in replenishing my chakra and healing process but now my haki is even stronger.

i slowly took off my outer yukata and rested in hot spring which is still beautiful if you ignore the corpses of monkeys with old man faces

'this day seems to be bizzare to an extreme' i murmered while i enjoyed the hot spring and took my rest..
