Journey Of The Wand Less Mage

Different scenarios keep flashing on Mirai's mind like an endless cutscene telling the story of the body she now own. From the scene the owner of the body enrolled in the magic school despite knowing that her affinity to magic was mediocre. She knows reaching the 2nd level was her limit, but no one did know her main class was a ranger.

Thirty minutes passed and Mirai analyze al the memories she got just as what Luna and the system said her name was Mirai Hatthway, a commoner from the slum area of the capital. She barely passed the magic exam for the school and needed to rely on stealing on streets for her own study and also to help her mother who was left at home. It was the sole reason why her stealth ability reaches the second level clandestine.

Sadly no information from the memory can help Mirai for the battle to come. She started to prepare again. This is were the system starts to show off, with the help of the system. Her past memory from earth was intact meaning all the information she knows would be dig out with no sweat.

Money, Weapon, Equipments and Buffs. Those are the things needed for a player in SIGMA to be capable of fighting. And exactly that was Mirai needs. Fortunately this Magic School and the whole Ruby Empire was one of the basic maps each player knows and so did Mirai. She knows the whole map like the back of his hand the only different thing was the rendering from a game is much different from the real world she is now living.

Stealthily, Mirai climb the tower where the big shots of the school stay, this academy has no elite since only beginners resides on the Ruby Capital. So as the teachers weren't that wealthy or strong, the academy's dean being the strongest was just a Rank 2 level 1 Elemental Mage and the weakest teacher would be a Rank 1 level 5 Mage.

And the first stop was Master Lauren's room. One of the weakest being only a Rank 1 level 6 Elemental Mage. In the game he was a dimension magician and a practitioners of the basic space storage for players. One can acquire from a short series of errand quests. But from the lore of the game Lauren's background was a lecherous one who molests NPC students of the academy.

But what Mirai was planning was different from the game. She didn't got the luxury of time to do a series of quest, knowing that everyone in this empire would end up dead in no less than half an hour. And definitely she's not planning to give Lauren her body. If killing is the way, then so be it. She was not afraid of some old pervert who only knows how to make puny storage. What Mirai wants was the ring Lauren was keeping. It was her masterpiece where he put all of his efforts and kept his profits in. If lucky Mirai can have the money and the storage even if it means mutilating her Master's hand to get the ring off. Though the ring would still be considered a trash for a legend player the circ.u.mstances now was different with Mirai's new weak body.

Mirai knocks on the door to Lauren's room, soon she heard some footsteps and groans cursing about who was knocking from the door this late. Mirai quickly activated clandestine. The moment the door opened Mirai casually entered Lauren's room.

It was not that Lauren's perception was low but being tipsy from waking up from an incomplete sleep makes possible for Mirai to enter the room.

But neither did Mirai know It was not only Lauren present in the room. Her friend or rather her body's friend Jil tied up n.a.k.e.d and crying in the corner of the room. This make Mirai's blood burn with rage. Her mind and body tells her to kill this pervert who dares to molest her friend.

And just as Lauren closed the door a faint silhouette appeared from his back.

Ambush!

Mirai pounced behind Lauren and activated her skill, blood gushed out from the neck of the teacher painting the door red. He died without even knowing what killed him!

Mirai wipes off her dagger and turns to face Jil whose stunned from the scene she have just witnessed. Her face was full or tears yet beads of sweat were visible from her shocked expression. Mirai then untied her friend who was dead pale either from the fear towards Lauren or the shock from Mirai's action.

"Jil you got to trust me." Mirai was a straightforward person since she was an introverted one, dealing to another person was not her passion. So cutting the chase from explaining was the best choice she considered. Jil was visibly shaking, her long black hair was damp with cold sweat, her face flooded with tears and body filled with lashes. But even so, her innocent beauty still out do those flaws. Uttering, Jil answered "Mirai.. how? We're just students!"

And who said that I am just a student? Mirai thought cursing inside, time was still moving and she shouldn't be wasting time around. It was 21:40 and Mirai knows it was the time mark when the dark elves started to place their pawns through out the empire.

The bloody eclipse was about to be held!
