Killer Hotel

After a few weeks of peace and quiet minus the terrible sleep schedule ryan has lived a charmed life. Then one night he only had a few people checked in and the casino was empty. Ryan even completed the quest to hire a new employee. The phone was a smartass and said you just hired your reward you dimwit. So ryan thought of boiling the phone. But besides that small quests here and there have been getting completed. Ryan even hire 5 more employees after he saw how much it helped to have another hand. Juliet got back from vacation too.

*Glass breaking noises* "The f.u.c.k was that!?" Ryan shot out of his bed and went to go investigate. He found a room door open and some blood trickling out from underneath the door. He used all his weight to get the door open. He walked in and saw a dead couple on the wall pinned with railway spikes. A message written in blood said 'Leave this hotel or else you will be become art too.' Ryan slammed the door shut. "EVERYBODY! ALL PATRONS OF THE HOTEL PLEASE COME OUT I HAVE A MESSAGE!!!"

Everybody walked out to the main lobby. "Everybody please quiet down and listen to what I have to say. I need everybody to file out of the hotel in a orderly fashion I have a problem we need to fix. If you have any objections go talk to the gas leak."

Everybody had a worried look and tried to run back to his room. "I left my stuff in there I have to get it!"

"Sir please calm down or else I will f.o.r.c.i.b.l.y remove you from the premises of the hotel."

*ZZZZZ* Ryan pulled out his taser and held it down. "This is for your own safety sir."

"Somebody call the cops! He is only going to steal from us!"

Ryan's face fell and said "Do it I have to call them anyways because of the gas."

Ryan pulled out his phone and dialed 911 and walked out to tell them about the murder.

The operator asked to be put on the announcement system. Ryan was unsure but followed the operator's instructions. The instructions sounded out. "Please everybody stay in the hotel the police is on the way nobody may leave at all."

A man from the crowd started running towards the doors. "NO MY FAMILY IS OUT THERE." *ZZZZZ* *Body collapses* The man's body fell to the ground while he started crying while unable to move outside of sobbing.

"Everybody please stay calm and sit down in the lobby and do not move. If somebody moves the hotel staff has the permission to stop you."

A voice cut out the 911 operator's voice and ryan's phone shut off "Hello everybody today you will play a game. The game's name is elf hunt. Everybody will grab a card from the front desk and put the card in their ear while being rolled up. Everybody will also have a knife. The higher value you draw the better the weapon." Everybody looked at each other and ryan yells out. "What are the knives and swords for!?"

The voice responded "To cut everybodies ears off." He chuckled as everybody in the lobby became very frightened. "If you dont I will kill everybody here with gas poisoning." Ryan willed up the courage and walked up to the deck of cards and drew a card. The voice rang out over the announcement system "Oh that's a ace here take this special prize for drawing a ace." 5 rings fell from the ceiling. The voice rang out once more."Take 1 and choose 4 others to give the rings to others of your choice. Each ring has a purpose behind them but each provide nothing but a simple letter opener for now. These items are special these items get stronger the more material it absorbs. The red ring needs blood and fire, the green need nothing but to be on your hand to absorb air the brown needs stone, dirt, and metal, the white needs electricity and the blue needs water."

"Now everybody grab a card except the people he gives a ring to. If you kill a ring bearer then the ring will teleport back to him and he will hand it out again. Every time the ring starts to glow take it off or you could lose your hand. It means the weapon is evolving. You have the 30 seconds to grab all the cards. 30, 29, 28, 27..." The voice started to countdown.

Once all the cards were drawn the rings I handed out to the staff that were there for the morning. It was juliet(Water), jack(Earth), grey(Lightning), and matt(Wind). "Hey guys game plan." Ryan(Fire) calls over the staff members. "We should follow his directions and gather ears." Ryan made air quotes when he said ears but meaning to just steal the cards from peoples ears. Ryan's staff looked around frightened. Jack spoke up "Boss this is bullshit how did this happen is this some sick shit your pulling as a prank for PR?"

"Look jack I know we have had a rough start but f.u.c.k you. I didn't do shit!"

Jack backed off when he saw that ryan was gettin fairly upset then the staff teams eyes started darting around the room in worry. Juliet spoke in a whisper to the staff "We should sneak out while nobody is looking there will be some trouble I guarantee it." Ryan and his team started to leave. when the voice rang out one last time "Oh last thing everybody the ear doesn't count if the person isn't dead. BEGIN!"

Ryan's team sprinted to ryan's room where the door was reinforced since that is where the money was kept. The door was closing behind them when ryan and the rest heard screaming from the lobby and wet sounds of ripping. The group looked to ryan. "Boss what do we do?"

"F.u.c.k this guys, let's wait it out then jump in the frenzy when most are dead then we can even steal cards from other with only having to do is knock them out then we can look good to the cops since we were nonlethal is our methods of survival and this place won't be put in the shitter from the bullshit press. But for now who wants to play some poker 50 dollar buy in." Ryan pulled out a case with ch.i.p.s, dice, and cards inside of it. The group gave ryan a look of awe that the boss can think like this in the current situation. They then thought and realized that he really was looking out for everybody who worked here and the hotel in general. Jack even found respect for his new boss.
