It was the next day morning. Alex got up early in the morning because he wanted to discuss with his mother about making Elena joining the Academy. So he quickly went to find his mother. Alex found mother was working in the kitchen early in the morning.

"Mother, I wanted to discuss something with you." Alex Said. He went forward and tried to help her in the work.

"Oh,...Alex, you woke up early? Is it about Elena joining the Academy?" Mother asked while doing her work.

"Yes, mother. I want Eli to awaken her Spirit Root and join the Academy. Inside the Academy, there are a lot of chances for us to improve our family. Not only that, I have a rare ability that will help me in becoming a Formation Builder. So when I become a Formation Trainee I can earn enough to take care of our family. When Elena is ready to go to the Academy, I will buy a house in the Capital City and you can live there." Alex explained his plans to his mother.

"Capital City? wouldn't it be too costly to live there?" Mother asked him concerned.

"it will be alright as I can earn enough money when I successfully become

a Formation Trainee." After a long time, Alex managed to convince his mother. Then with the thought of developing his Spirit Sense, he walked back to his room. But Alex wanted to awaken Elena's Spirit Root first. So he went to his sister's room. Unexpectedly she wasn't sleeping as he thought. She was actually holding the pill bottle Alex gave her.

"Why are you awake so early, Eli?" He asked her sitting at the edge of the bed.

"Hmm. didn't brother promise me yesterday, that you will help consume this pill. I was waiting for you." Elena spoke excitedly.

Alex wanted to go to an open space outside the house so she can get more mana to help her awaken. If he learned Primary Mana Convening Array by now, he could have helped her absorbing more mana quickly.

They went to find an area to begin awakening. Soon after they found it Alex made her sit in a lotus position as he learned from the Academy that it would help to have more concentration when absorbing. After giving some instructions to her about the process, Alex backs off to a short distance so she can concentrate.

Elena took the pill in her hand and put it inside of her mouth and began to concentrate like her brother told her. Five minutes passed by but she still wasn't feeling anything. Alex made her take a second pill which she did. Only after that, she felt something. But sooner she began to feel a pain in her head.

"...mmhg...bro_brother...it kind of hurt" Elena said in a muffled voice. Alex was confused as he never heard of this situation. Just when Alex got close to her to he comfort her a powerful force suddenly exploded from her.

Boom!

Alex was blown away from that force. He looked at her half excited, half worried. Because he knew something awesome is happening to his sister looking at the pure golden light emerging from her forehead and warm feeling it gave him, but he was also worried for her. It seems she was in a lot of pain. But he can't get close to her. Just when Alex began to think about ideas to save her somebody appeared in the sky.

A little far from there, in a gambling house inside The Dawn city. 5 people were sitting in a gambling table. One of them was an old man who was grinning with stroking his beard. The other 4 includes 3 middle-aged men, who had faces that have eaten a fly, and a young woman whose face was also sullen.

"Haha, what happened to your initial excitement. Haha, you kids have a long way to go if you want to defeat me, the gambling god." The old man, of course, was Elder Silas, who wanted to have some in Dawn city. The other 4 people sitting in the gambling table gritted their teeth.

"One more. Just one more chance. If you have any guts bet for once more." The young lady who already verges of the explosion spoke provokingly.

"Hahaha, who would reject some free_...This_this feeling...it can't be!" Elder Silas who was already ready for another gambling war suddenly turned his head and looked in the direction where Elena was. After speaking he disappeared from where he stood. The people who were looking angry at the old man suddenly become terrified by the sudden disappearance if him. The whole gambling house became silent for a minute before they heard someone screaming.

"A shameless expert stole my money." They noticed It was one of the middle-aged men who was gambling with that expert. But not only nobody responded to him, they even kept a distance from him in case that expert actually heard and came back for him. Nobody wanted to be seen with this idiot, less the expert think that they were comrades of this idiot.

Soon Elder Silas reached the source of that energy and saw his disciple, who was struggling and his sister, who was actually the source of this energy. After looking at the golden energy emerging out of her Elder Silas was sure of his feeling.

"To think one of that race lived so near and none of noticed. Wait, did this mean my disciple is also one of them? It can't be. I traveled with him for a whole two and I never noticed anything strange from aura... His sister never cultivated, so it's natural that I can't sense anything. But it can't be said the same with him. I should really investigate this, but first...." Muttering himself, Elder Silas took a scroll from his pouch on his waist. If anyone noticed they will be astonished because that pouch wasn't big enough to contain that scroll. If Alex saw this he will mutter one word.

.... Con man....?
