0800, 8 am...

Rays of the sun shines across the room and hits Lynda's eyes as she woke up, she rise up and looks around, seems like nothing has changed. She looked at the left and saw a mirror, she saw herself, strangely though, she doesn't look like what she remembers. Her hair got white(not blonde) and curly, her horns got a bit larger, and her eyes are both red now.

"What..." Lynda noticed something, her voice changed as well, now she got a single voice now, "My voice! It, it changed." Lynda got a bit surprised, but then calmed down again, she felt like she is a new person now, she went out of her bed and stood in front of the mirror, and realized, she got a bit taller. She looked carefully at herself and blushed as she noticed that her body m.a.t.u.r.ed even further. Before she gets ready, she tried a few things that her old body can do. She closes her eyes and tried splitting in half, she doesn't feel anything like separating, she opens her eyes and felt disappointed to the result, a failure.

"Gosh, how am I gonna be useful now." Lynda looked again at herself in the mirror, she smiled that her voice became beautiful, "But damn, I sound completely different." She looked to her right and went straight to the restroom, "I can't wait to tell mi'lord-" she stop midway and remembered what happened the other day, she sat down on the floor beside the bed, she looked at the half closed window and wondered, she slammed her fist to her l.a.p, "Why am I so weak!" Her tears bursted out, she stutters speaking, "if, if I wasn't that weak..." She covered her eyes and wiped the tears away, she stood up and tries to forget what happened, "anyway, I got a job to do."

0900, 9 am...

Lynda steps out of her room, she looked both ways, first at the right, nothing seems to be new, then on the left, she saw Alex leaning against the wall looking at the window, seems like he is waiting for someone, after a second, they looked at each other, then he approached her.

"About time you go out." Alex smiled at her, he got a bit surprised, she did not look happy, she was looking at the ground, "what is the problem?"

"I," Lynda can't look at him, "I apologise for what happened," she stepped back, "I am not strong enough."

"You were not strong enough." Alex clarified what she said, she got surprised, "Now, you're different." Remembering what he have done to her made him smile, "anyway-" he turned around and started walking towards the stairs, "before you start your job, you need reintroductions, come now." Alex waved at her and takes a step downstairs. Lynda was left just standing there, wondering what he meant by different, she knows it was just looks, but from looking at his face awhile ago, it wasn't just that. She followed up to Alex, and quickly went down stairs too, and until she got down, she saw Alex looking at her with a smile and went in his study. Lynda quickly ran towards him.

"Master wait-" she suddenly stopped as she heard the door close. She opened it and saw Alex talking to the other slaves.

"Meet Lynda, again." Alex pointed his hand to their backs, all of his slaves looked behind and saw her. Lynda looked surprise all of the sudden, but she took a deep breath and walked in, she feels so embarrassed by the way they look at her, even if they have known each other for that long. She didn't made eye contact until she reaches Alex, then looked at everyone with a smile, "Perhaps we all have met before, am I right?"

All of the slaves looked at each other and nods, "very well." Lynda smiled, "please get back go work." Alex smiled, and looked at Lynda, "Ah yes, please go back."

"Yes mi'lord." The slaves answered and started to leave Alex's study in silence, as they all left, Lynda suddenly asked, "What happened to me mi'lord?!"

"What happened to you? You ask?" Alex turns around and faced the window, "you were really unstable during your wing loss, so I tried to stabilise your soul, and I did."

"What do you mean?" Lynda sat down on a chair beside his Study table, Alex turns around again and looked at Lynda's shiny red eyes.

"Since Evelyn's wings disappeared, her soul started to break down slowly." Alex frowned, "of course, I have to do something, or Emerald's soul will break down with Evelyn's." He smiled in relief, remembering what he did. "Then, what did you do?" Lynda does not seem to understand, she looks really curious about herself.

"I forced the two souls into one, permanently," Alex's eyes glowed, "oh and of course with the help of my blood." Alex quickly stood up and went to his shelf, took a book and sat down again, he opened to book and looked for a certain page, "since you have reaper's blood," Alex sighed, he have to explain everything again to her, he looked at the book then at Lynda, "your strength increases drastically, and you have this Pure stage, where you probably don't have control on yet."

"Pure stage?" Lynda looked at him and wondered, "what is that?" Alex smiled in disappointment, and made yet another explanation, "Pure stage is a stage where your abilities will yet improve drastically, also your appearance will change, I can also take control of you when you are in that stage."

"Oh." Lynda looked at the ground, "how can I go to Pure stage?" Alex's face turned serious, he looked up to the ceiling and closed his eyes, "that, is what you have to find out yourself-" he quickly opened his eyes and glanced at her, "nevermind, let us go to the training grounds to see."

Lynda got a bit worried for herself, she got surprised about the answer she heard "ah, okay mi'lord." She stood up and went to the door, Alex followed. Lynda quickly opened the door for him, Alex did not went out, instead, he waited for her to go out. Out of the awkwardness, Lynda quickly lifted the mood, "is something wrong master?"

Alex suddenly chuckled, "I will be the one who will close the door, just go there without me." Alex held the door open and waited for Lynda to leave. He closed the door and did not leave the room at all, "what is it that you want from me." He spoke without looking, he knows someone is there all along.

"M-master-"

"Don't you dare call me that!" Alex suddenly turned around with an angry face and glowing eyes, he saw Ruby kneeling in the middle of his room, "bring your disgraceful face out of here!"

"Please sir!" Ruby started to tear up again, "I, I apologize!" She wiped her tears away and closed her hand, "please forgive me!"

"Have I not given chances?!" Alex could not bear his anger at her, he quickly sat down on his chair and placed his hands closed on the table, "give me three reasons why I should forgive you." Alex slammed the table, "Damn it! If I have not sworn to Adeline not to kill you, I would've long ago!" Alex turned around and looked carefully at his garden, Ruby's cries were just heard in the room, "you know that I have given too many chances, from the first time we met and until the day I have sworn to spare your soul, it is just too many chances, too many." Alex sighed, "maybe it was my fault in the beginning, I was too kind to everyone."

"No sir please!" Ruby kneeled down again, "I swore on my life, I won't turn my back on you, again." She started crying silently, "So please, forgive me."

"Forgive you huh?" Alex frowned.

"No never." Ruby's eyes widened as her inside crippled, she cannot stop crying, "Look for another master, maybe my daughter would be suited for you, but not me."

"Please!" Ruby kneeled and begged, "Forgive me, I would do anything! Please just forgive me!"

"Heard that already." Alex looked at his watch and stood up, "Anyway, please leave now." Alex opened the door for her, he waited for her to stand up, "I got a job to do." Ruby did not listen, she kept on crying and did not even stand up. Alex got a bit frustrated, "Do you want me to force you?" He waited for an answer, then Ruby quickly held on Alex's knees and shouted, "Please forgive me!"

"Why should I forgive you?" Alex closed the door and removes Ruby to his knees, "As I said earlier, give me three reasons why." Ruby quickly wiped her tears tries to find reasons, "I, I don't know, but please!"

Alex can't take it anymore, he took Ruby at her neck and started going out, "No reason to be forgiven." Alex sighed, "As expected, don't you think?" He glanced at her and watched her being choked slowly.

"Ok, let us have another bet," Alex threw her down and started walking away from her, "Call the other Reapers at the Main hall in two hours, you included, I don't care if you'll do it or not." Ruby didn't answer but stood up right away and started running. Alex continued to walk without anything to say.

0930, 9:30 am...

Lynda is just alone in the training grounds, patiently waiting for Alex. Until she heard the door clicked, she got a bit excited, she looked to the direction where the door is, suddenly got disappointed, when she saw it wasn't Alex that entered, it was Natalie.

"You looked disappointed, is something wrong?" Natalie wondered as she looks at Lynda. Her eyes fills with curiosity.

"Oh nothing," Lynda smiled weakly and closed her eyes, she did not expect Natalie to go in at all, "I just thought you would be Master."

"By the way." Natalie came up with a new topic at hand, "what happened to you?" She looked serious this time, she prevented eye contact. Lynda got a bit surprised, she looked at her and grinned, "Do you want to see what happened to me?"

Natalie got her eyes a bit wide, "oh dear, that would be great." She smiled as well, she jumped back and to distanced herself to Lynda, she is seeing something nasty inside her, like a huge aura covering her, "let us see, how strong you are, favourite maid."

The word angered Lynda and her grin quickly turned into a frown, and started running towards Natalie, "Favourite?" She grabbed Natalie's hands, preventing her to move. Natalie however forced herself to escape, ripping her arms in the process, she laughed as she backs off again, Natalie started to grow a horn, a star formed on her right eye, and just about she was done, her hands grew back, she exhaled red smoke and formed around her, "Yes, this is it! This is the day I have been waiting for!" She chuckled, "Fight Me!" Her eyes pierced through Lynda's, somehow Natalie's presence gave Lynda chills. Lynda somehow got disappointed, she isn't as scared like this before, she remembered all she feared was betraying Alex. Betraying the one who created her.

"Not going to attack?" Natalie's face looks sarcastically sad, "Alright, I shall go first." She disappeared in an instant and went behind Lynda. Lynda was able to sense her soul and quickly turned where she stopped, she tried piercing

through, she shoved her hand towards Natalie. She suddenly smiled and sliced Lynda's finger.

Lynda bit her lip as she felt pain on her hand, "ah damn it!" She never felt like this before, as if she weakened. She looked at Natalie and backs off.

"Is that what the head Maid can only do?" Natalie grinned as she chews on Lynda's finger, "My, I guess you are no fun at all."

The words hit Lynda, she felt so angry, she gritted her teeth and her eyes glowed. Suddenly blood starts to go out of Lynda and covers her hands, she is too mad to notice, maybe she isn't at herself anymore. Her horn started to turn dark red, and five tails forced to go out of Lynda's back, she g.r.o.a.n.e.d in pain. Driven by anger she did not say anything. She did not even noticed, she was already at Pure Stage.

"I see," Natalie closed her eyes and smiles weakly, she made a fighting stance, she took her knives out, "Let us see how strong you are, Ms. Lynda Rose."

"Yes let us see how strong she is." Alex is suddenly behind Natalie, sitting at the nearest seat at the field. He snapped his fingers, and both his and Lynda's pupils turn yellow. "Do your best, Natalie." Alex smiled at her, Natalie started to feel fear from Lynda, the atmosphere changed, Lynda started walking towards Natalie, she slowly smiled at her with emotionless eyes, she isn't in herself, her smile send shivers to Natalie, her confidence turned into pure fear, still fighting it, she gritted her teeth and ran towards Lynda.

As Alex's eyes glowed, Lynda suddenly leaped towards Natalie and spun around, making a barrage using her tails. She chuckled as she kept on attacking, her face still shows no emotion, just a scary grin. Natalie tries to keep up with her sudden change of speed, her fear towards her slowly grows every hit she blocks. As Lynda's final hit to her, she tries to stab Natalie with all of her tails, the force pushed Natalie away, crashing at the wall, clouds of Dust scattered across the place. Blood stains across the room, and Natalie covered in her own blood, she can't see because of dust everywhere she look, she started shaking as she heard Lynda laughing.

In front of her she saw glowing red eyes, "I'm gonna rip you apart!" Natalie suddenly closed her eyes in fear, "I'll KILL YOU!" Lynda shouted while slowly approaching her, "I'll TEAR YOU TO PIECES, INTO A PILE OF LIMBS, INTO A POOL OF BLOOD!"

"No please!" Natalie replied, tears flowed on her face, "Don't kill me!" Lynda stood infront of Natalie, "Please, I'm sorry!"

"SILENCE!" Lynda's tails suddenly disappeared, "This is the last time you speak so lowly of me." Her eyes stopped glowing, and left a tired expression, she closed her eyes and collapsed, her tails started cracking up and dusts away, she went back to her normal state.

"And that is how strong Lynda is." Alex stood up and jumps into the battlefield, went towards Lynda and carried her, "You have learned a lesson Natalie." Alex smiled weakly at her, "There is a reason why Hierarchies exist, now go back to your master." Alex's eyes glowed.

"But, you are my master." Natalie struggles to bow, she trembled while trying to, with blood dripping everywhere, from her head to her body. Alex gritted his teeth, he suddenly punched the wall and his hand breaks through, Natalie flinched, but did not dare to move, she felt anger to Alex, "Who? Is your master?"

"You master-" Natalie closed her eyes and suddenly flinched again as she heard another wall got punched.

"I think you forgetting something," Alex's eyes glowed against Natalie, she started trembling again, "Master, what is it that I'm forgetting?" He smiled in disappointment, "You forgot to mention Azuria being your master."

"Her?" Natalie raised her head and looks at Alex, "Sir, please allow me to get to the point."

Alex got his eyebrow rise, then he smiled, "fine, tell me about her." He starts expecting the obvious.

"She,-" Natalie unsteadily stands up, "I do not see strength in her," She starts to avoid eye contact, "I feel like I'm raising a child, and all I have to do is what other things other slaves do, what is my use being a personal slave?"

"Ho." Alex started chuckling, Natalie got a bit frustrated, "Also, her soul looks small, I think she does not deserve to be your-"

"Don't you dare say those words to my Daughter, do you know what you're doing?" Alex grinned, "Such foolish words, do you know what hellcats do?"

Natalie got her eyes widened, "Hellcats makes fake souls that serves as their mask that hides their true strength, these fake souls are created by their power, it is their hobby to deceive prey and then eat their soul." Alex frowned, "And you heard it right?" He looked up at the ceiling, seems like he is talking to someone. Natalie got surprised, she can't help but tremble in fear, she think she knows what will happen next. Azuria is found resting on the window behind a room, she jumped down with a serious look.

"Mi'lord!" Natalie starts tearing up, "I, I-"

"Shut it." Azuria glared at her, it felt like she's strangling her. "Do you really want to witness the real me?" Azuria's eyes glowed like gold. Natalie starts feeling a strange atmosphere, like her soul is vibrating to the place, it's like someone is shaking it at its very core. Natalie's eyes forced to see everyone's power, and observed Azuria's, it slowly starts emitting evil energy, her little golden soul became very dark, and big as Azuria starts to change as well.

Natalie kneeled down, "My Lord! Please stop!! I- I apologise! Please forgive me!" Alex smiled at both of them and opened the door, "I'll be leaving for you girls, have a good day." He stated as he walked his way out without saying anything else.

On the hallway, Lynda carefully opens her eyes, everything seems to be a blur, she wiped her eyes and realized she is being carried by Alex. She is too tired to move by herself, she wanted to speak, but as soon as she opens her mouth, she passed out again.

"I guess, she isn't still stable." Alex told himself, he turned where the dungeon is. He passed the other reapers heading to the Main hall, they seemed surprised about Alex carrying her. But it is somehow a normal thing to see him doing those kind of unusual actions, so they ignored it and Bowed in respect instead.

As soon as he got to the dungeon, he went in the place where Azraille's things are. He got disappointed seeing all the mess Phantomhives left, bloodstains on the floor, walls cracked and shattered, and with the bed not fixed. He looked at the painting and checked the throne, thank goodness, no stains and dents. Alex kicked some debris to make way, he went towards the throne and placed Lynda there. He sighed and looked at the whole room. "This is the first and the last time I let visitors get here." Alex removed his coat, folded his sleeves up, and started cleaning up. He started fixing the bed first, then he threw the debris away. After removing the debris, he went back to the chamber and looked at the bloodstains on the ground, he saw a small puddle of blood and fragments of a soul. "Oh, someone got eaten here." Alex got a bit surprised, "must be one of Elizabeth's doing." He swayed his hand in a circular motion, then his eyes glowed red, and the fragments started combining along with the blood, the stains went with it, thus cleaning the whole place.

"This might help," Alex swayed his hand and pointed Lynda. The orb swiftly went to Lynda and it went inside like it was nothing. Lynda's eyes suddenly opened and she stood up, her eyes glowed red as if she woke up from her rest, she looked fully awakened, but quickly passed out again, putting her on the throne. Alex sighed and then continued cleaning.

"Let us see what you've become." Alex told himself, talking about Lynda, he smiled as he swiftly put things back in order. He leaned at Lynda and checked if she's alright, he touched her forehead and it felt hot, "Hm, it's probably about 39 point something degrees," Alex stood properly and unfolded his sleeves, "well that is one cheeky fever." He carried Lynda and as he stepped out of the Dungeon door, he is already in Lynda's room. He carefully placed her down, and let her rest.

"Get well soon." Alex smiled and looked at the time, it was...

1050, 10:50 am,

"Oh dear, I will probably be late if I don't go now." Alex smirked, as if he did not care at all, "eh, I better go." He stood up and left the room, careful not to wake her up.

On the hallway, he just strolled carefully and looked at the window while walking, he saw Finnian pulling weeds in the Garden, the both saw each other, and ends up Finnian waving at Alex, he closed his eyes and waved back with a smile, he continued walking afterwards. The Manor seems quite silent, all he ever passed through are the slaves, it made Alex smile, maybe that traitor has some use after all. He got his eyes widened and remembered something, he went to his study and checked his hanging cabinet and saw his knife placed properly, he then took it and placed his sword, a katana to be exact. "I'll be using you for now." He smiled weakly at his 17-inch double edged knife. He keeps his knife and took out his pocket watch, and again, looked at the time.

1110, 11:10 am,

"Perfect." Alex opened the door and he is out to the Main hall, seeing all the Reapers sitting down at the long table with a vacant on the last seat. Ruby can be seen standing up at beside the vacant seat, Alex's face suddenly turns serious, he looked at Sascha, "Hey, seat there." Alex waited for him to stand, Sascha chuckled, "Of course!" He knew what seat he's talking about, and sat on the Last seat, "yeah I'm finally able to sit here!"

Ludger quickly knocked him in the head, "Shut it." And went back to his seat. Sascha rubbed his head, "yeah yeah." William cleared his throat signing all of them to stop. Alex smiles at William, "Thank you."

"Now," Alex stood up, and roams around slowly, "I gathered all of you here for a reason," he went to the kitchen table, everyone looks at him except for Ruby, she still looks down on the ground, "as all of you know, or maybe not," Alex chuckled, "Ruby is a traitor."

Murmurs of Reapers went across the Hall, Alex raised his hand and waited for them to quiet down, "She brought huge shame upon me, as I expected her to be obedient, she caused ruckus and brought some Vampires that I killed back to life."

"As expected of Vampires." William fixed his glasses and made a serious look against Ruby, she didn't made eye contact to anyone.

"And before," Alex went to Sascha's seat and rested both his arms on the top rail, "she tried to kill me several times, asked for forgiveness several times, and now, I don't know what to do with her, so," Alex pointed at Ruby, "You reapers decide what to do, either KILL her, or FORGIVE her one last time."

William raised his hand, "I suggest we kill her already, perhaps even you forgot how many times you gave her chances." Other Reapers agreed, Alex looked at Ruby and noticed she started shaking, her eyes began tearing up.

"I do not agree with that, father." Everyone's eyes widened and thought about the words, it is Azuria, still with a serious face, "What is the use of killing her?"

"Well," Alex started moving towards her, "It removes hindrances," and as he reached her, he pats her head and rubs it, "also, it removes nuisances."

"I don't care about her, but I'll stick to what my Master wants." Natalie stated with a smile, she appears behind Azuria, it made Alex smile, "Oh dear, had a change of Heart, Natalie?" He noticed some changes to her looks, her other eye is now golden with a sharp green hue in the middle.

"Ah yes, mi'lord, I learned a lot from Master." Natalie's eyes glowed, "A lot!" She giggled, it made Alex smirk, and looked back at Azuria, "let us have a chat later okay?"

Azuria turned around and went towards the door, "Fine, but going back to the topic at hand, give her this final chance father, but it is still your choice." She gazed at the other reapers then left.

"It is still my choice." Alex smiled weakly and scratched his head, "did I hear it right?" He chuckled, "Well then, anymore suggestions?" Alex looked at everybody, seems like no one wanted say something anymore.

"Vey well, let us begin the votes," Alex slammed the table, "Who wanted her dead?" He looked at everyone with a grin and a glow in his eyes, Ruby got surprised and closed hers. She slowly opened her eyes and looks at the hands rised, only one.

"Wha-, excuse me, I think you heard him wrong, he said who wants to kill her." William got surprised as he is the only one who raised his hand.

"You really don't get it do you Mr. Spears?" Sascha's eyes glowed at William, his smile piercing through him, William got surprised, he didn't react though. He fixed his glasses, "If there's anything I do not understand, then tell me this instant."

"If mi'lord wanted her dead, he would've killed her ages ago, don't you think?" Sascha gazed at Ruby, his grin turned into a weak smile as he puts his hand unto his chin, "poor soul, toyed by us Reapers as she trembles down in despair, desperate to live."

The words hit Ludger a bit, as he once never played with lives like that, he wanted to be an exemption from this, he did not like the way Sascha said about Reapers toying with souls, "Perhaps your mindset about this really breaks the image of us Reapers, try to watch your language."

"What is there to watch for?" Sascha grinned with a glow in his eyes, "We Reapers are different from these mortal entities." His tone is a bit unusual, his face went serious as he looked at Alex, "What do you say? mi'lord?"

"You were right on one thing Sascha, but you are also wrong at the other, I wonder what you said on these Reapers, wonder why they did not raised their hands." Alex shrugged, he smiled weakly at him, "I mean, I could've killed her like what you said, I just swore to someone so I won't kill her, I expected everyone raising their hands, but..." Alex shrugged and looked at Ruby, "I guess I'll give her one last chance."

Sascha's eyes widened with William as they both realized something, the crowd slowly grows wild arguing on a topic at hand, whilst Undertaker, laughing as he watched Reapers losing their composure. Alex's eyes glows and slammed the table, "I request silence." he looked at Ruby, "I believe you all have learned a lesson." Alex smiled.

Alex took his knife out and started accolading Ruby, "By this ceremony, I declare," he placed his knife on her right shoulder, "Ruby Kanashiro, the forgiven," then pats the knife on the left shoulder, "will bring death upon turning one's back, but will be given strength," then pats Ruby's head, "Ruby Kanashiro, the former slave, will now be a knight." Alex took his knife and slit his point finger, "Ruby, once you drink this, your whole life will start as if you're reborn, do you understand?"

Ruby, smiled gently and looks at Alex, " I do." she began s.u.c.k.i.n.g Alex's hands until it stopped bleeding, "You see there are things that do not go to plan, but one still tries to go his or her own way, making mistakes," Alex shrugged, "but, fear not, it is inevitably normal." Alex looked at Ruby, then looks back at the Reapers, "Sometimes, mistakes bear the sweetest fruits, perhaps they are called beautiful mistakes, so here I am introducing you again, to Ruby Kanashiro, the Knight of Death."
