King Of Seven Realms

Chapter 153 - Do you think I am lying?

"Let's go." Wang Lei said and placed his hand on her shoulder, and before she could ask, both of them disappeared from there.

They appeared in a bustling city in a blink, or even less than a blink, which surprised Brahma Goddess. She was surprised by his sheer speed. One might think it was a space jump, but she could see it and say it wasn't.

There was no movement in space. It was all about speed! Obviously, as a peak Divine Master, her speed was already faster than the speed of light recorded in human history. Even so, she was well aware that it was nowhere near the speed at which he moved.

Lilith was the current capital of the Satan Territory, ruled by Sirzech Lucifer. As the current capital, it was obviously teeming with demons from all over the underworld.

Every merchant would visit this city once or twice a year, if not once a month, because it was the center of most of the underworld's trade.

But what stood most about this city was Serafall Memorial Hospital. As one of the most advanced hospitals in the underworld, it was filled with devils from all over the underworld.

Everyone's attention was drawn to Wang Lei and Ying'er as they walked side by side. Ying'er's appearance and demeanor drew everyone's attention and took their breath away. Her mere presence was enough to put them in a daze and cause them to stare at her.

Wang Lei appeared to be a normal male standing next to her.

"I've been waiting to ask this of you, master, but what happened to your appearance? How did it suddenly turn all black?" She asked, completely ignoring the looks and pressuring anyone, on the verge of death, who had even the slightest idea of approaching them.

"Hm? Do I look more handsome now?" He chuckled as he ate an apple he had purchased from a market stall.

Ying'er deadpanned at his narcissism. She thought everything could be changed but not his narcissism.

"Ma~, no need to look like that." He said, waving dismissively at her, "This is my genuine look. The previous one was the result of the blending of several bloodlines."

"Hm? Then what happened to those bloodlines now?" Ying'er asked, raising a brow at his explanation. "Did they vanish or what?" She inquired sarcastically.

"Well, something along those lines." Wang Lei nodded, a smirk forming on his face as he observed his pervert maid's displeased expression. "Rather than saying it vanished, the more accurate statement would be that they completely ȧssimilated with me."

"Assimilated?" Ying'er was perplexed. Isn't that what happens when you get a new bloodline? Or do they have to be manually ȧssimilated? Yes, cultivators do refine them, I mean. However, refining and ȧssimilation are not the same thing. You can't just save a bloodline within yourself and refuse to integrate with it. It's the same as preventing blood from flowing through your veins.

"Think of it this way: I used to have more than one bloodline, but they all acted independently, causing changes in my body. But after ȧssimilation, they all became one bloodline, and all the changes they made before vanished." He explained.

She frowned. This was the first she'd heard of it. But, in the God Realm, no one ever had more than one inheritance within his body. As a result, she cannot be aware of it. Perhaps this was the procedure required if a person took more than one bloodline within their body.

A short walk and they reached the, if not, the biggest building in Lilith—Serafall Memorial Hospital.

"You have arrived," A male voice came from the hospital's entrance as he made his way to Wang Lei and Ying'er, raising his brow briefly when he saw the missing two women, Leiyan and Grayfia.

"Leave the pleasantries behind," Wang Lei motioned, "and take me to your mother."

His reason for coming here was obvious: to awaken Sairaorg's mother from her coma. He will see it through to the end, as he promised. .

Siaraorg nodded and led them into the hospital, where they soon arrived at his mother's room. His face took on a pained expression before returning to normal.

He knocked on the door, taking a deep breath. The door was opened a split second later.

A blond girl stood on the other side of the door, her hair tied in a ponytail. She was a lovely young lady, but she wasn't breathtaking. She wore a costume that was open in the ċhėst area, exposing her large brėȧsts, cleavage, and part of her stomach, as well as a section cut off in her arms, exposing her shoulders.

She wore a belt and long pants.

"Kuisha Abaddon, she is my [Queen]." Sairaorg introduced her, prompting her to make a small bow. Obviously, he had informed her of Wang Lei's visit.

Wang Lei, who had been staring at the woman on the bed, finally raised his eyes and looked at Kuisha; his gaze trailed and seemed to check her body from head to toe, making her tense.

She had a small frown on her face as she noticed the obvious disrespect in his gaze, but she didn't say anything. She had seen many devils see her body in such ways before, and Wang Lei was her King's guest. She can't really disrespect him.

Wang Lei didn't say anything about her before returning his gaze to the sleeping beauty. Long brown hair was strewn across the bed. Her skin was pale, most likely because she hadn't been out in the sun in a long time. She was taking small, steady breaths that were neither too fast nor too slow.

"She is Misla Bael, my mother. She went into a coma not long after she and I were sent out of the Beal Territory. She hasn't gotten out of bed since. Many doctors examined her condition, but none could provide an answer or a cure for her illness." Sairaorg explained with a slight pain in his voice as he looked at his mother, the sleeping beauty, gently removing a hair from her brow.

He returned his gaze to Wang Lei and bowed 90 degrees, saying, "Please, if you can, heal her."

"There is nothing to heal," Wang Lei waved his hand and looked towards Misla Bael and said, "She is alright."

Kuisha was suspicious of his claim while Sairaorg frowned slightly and asked, "What do you mean alright? She has obviously not awakened for such a long time."

Wang Lei raised a brow before smiling, "Do you think I am lying?"

Sairaorg fell silent. It didn't matter whether he was lying or not, but every single doctor has said she's not fine. They just couldn't figure out what was causing her to be in this coma-induced state.

"Em, this—" Before Kuisha could say anything, her eyes opened as big as a saucer, same with Sairaorg as they saw Misla's eyes quiver before opening.

Her purple eyes were unfocused as she stared at the ceiling before they began to focus. They darted right and left a split second later, before locking with Sairaorg disbelieving shaking eyes.

"... son?"
