"Are you ready?" Cang Yue said as she looked around her, towards other girls.

They nodded and started pouring their Primordial Energy in the formation laid before them. Wang Lei created this formation as fun, but he never knew that someone would use it.

The fundamental function of this formation was its defense, mostly towards dark entities since it was a light-based formation.

Feng Hengkong with Feng Xue'er stood behind, looking at them.

Other cultivators also looked with bated breaths.

Soon they started to pour Light Elemental Primordial Energy in the formation as it begins to shine.

Jasmine, who was standing beside Yun Che had her eyes open wide. She was not able to believe what she was seeing. She never thought that she would find light element users here on this small planet.

Shen Xi, Dragon Queen, was the only person in the whole Primal Chaos Dimension who could use Light Profound Energy. She has never met or heard about anyone else who could do so.

But what surprised her more was that even though the energy they were using was Light Element, the signature it was giving was different. In fact, she felt that it was an entirely different energy than what she or other cultivators use.

'What is that energy? No, the fact that they can use Light Profound Energy is in itself to be shocked. Just what the hell is happening here on this planet?'

The requirements to use Light Profound Energy were reasonably high; that is why it was rare for people to be able to use it. And here she was - six people were using it without any problem.

She was wondering if the knowledge she gained from the God Realm was wrong, and it was quite common for cultivators to use Light Profound Energy.

Everyone watched as a wall of light rose towards the sky as if joining Heaven and Earth.

Dead Land was on the other side of the Wall of Light as it blocked any form of Darkness from approaching their side. It was not the best defense, but still enough to stop the advancement of the Darkness.

They could hear sizzling sounds as if something was melting. If one looked close enough, they would find that it was dark miasma that came in contact with Light Wall.

"This is enough for now; all we can do is wait for Young Noble to come." Cang Yue said, getting a nod of approval from others.

Feng Xue'er walked towards them and asked, "Wow! What is this energy, big sister? I have never seen it before."

Since it was rare to find the user of Light Profound Energy, it was no surprise that she did not know about it. In fact, it was not wrong to say that after the era of Gods and Devils, only Dragon Queen Shen Xi could use Light Profound Energy. Most people who have never met or heard about her do not even know that such an element exists.

Qingyue smilingly replied, "It is Light Element. Not many people can use it, just us and some others in the Guild."

After that, they left for the camp; they have done what they could, now all left was to hope that Wang Lei come before the emergence of the beast or other side.

Most of these cultivators were Sovereign Realm, while the majority being Tyrant and Emperor Realm.

At the forefront was Wentian with his attendants and Ye Meixie with his son, with others following behind them.

Soon, they could see an immense Wall of Light at the front.

Wentian seeing it, frowned, "What is that?"

He increased his speed, and in the next second, he was in front of the wall. Narrowing his eyes, he tried to touch it but felt rejection from it. He saw as his hand started to burn, smirk forms on his face.

"Strong, but not enough to stop me."

On the other side of the wall, cultivators could see nothing since the wall blocked Darkness and their view of the other side - making it impossible to see what was going on there.

"I still cannot believe that they can use Light Element," Jasmine said.

Yun Che didn't reply since he has been hearing the same thing for some time now. First, her mind was occupied by Wang Lei, then by the Guild and now Light Element.

He was wondering whether she will stop talking or not.

"What is it that you can't believe?"

"The fact that they can use Light Profound Energy," Jasmin replied on reflexes, but then she remembered that the sound was quite different from Yun Che.

Yun Che also got startled; looking back, he saw a man covered with dirt and moss. His hair was messy all over. For a moment, Yun Che thought that he was a beggar but soon find some similarities and remembered certain someone.

"Brother!" Jasmine seeing him, exclaimed in surprise.

"I don't mind having a cute sister. For sure, you can call me brother." Wang Lei said, not bother least by what she called him.

A red shade crept on Jasmine's face as she remembered what she just said, "H-Humph! Why would this princess call you my brother?"

Wang Lei smilingly replied, "I never said that I want to be 'your' brother, though."

Her face becomes even redder in shame.

Yun Che, seeing the flirty atmosphere between them, frowned. He was not romantically involved with her, but he still felt left out. She was his master; he, for some reason, didn't like it when they flirt.

"Can you tell us why you are here?" Yun Che asked, slightly annoyed. "At least clean yourself; you look like a beggar,"

Jasmine also looked towards him, waiting for his answer as she also wanted to know.

Pointing his finger towards the Dead Land, Wang Lei said, "For the same reason you are."

"Do you know what it is?" Yun Che asked.

Jasmine didn't say anything as she had a rough guess. Though that guess made her horrified but without her body, she can't do anything about it.

Wang Lei made a thinking face as he gazed at the big Wall of Light, "Isn't the Darkness?"

Before Yun Che could reply, Jasmine said in slightly high pitch, "You know it?!"

"What is it?" Yun Che asked since he was the only one left with no knowledge.

Jasmine thought for a second before answering, "Darkness, we don't know what it is since it is fundamentally different from Dark Profound Energy that devils use. But one theory states that it is a form of evil energy whose source is one's heart."

"One's heart?" Yun Che mumbled to himself. He thought he understood it, but at the same time, he didn't.

Wang Lei smiled since he knew more about it, but he didn't bother correcting her since her theory was not far from the truth.

"You have seen the Darkness, right?" He said.

Jasmine and Yun Che nodded.

Wang Lei raised his hand. They saw with horrified eyes as Darkness pours out of his body.

"You...!" Jasmine couldn't find the right word to say. What is the meaning of this? Is he a devil? Or a person from the Darkness side?

Wang Lei looked at the Darkness and said, "Darkness and Light are the opposite sides of the same coin," He raised his other hand from which Light Elemental Energy comes out, but one could tell that it was purer than the one they - Girls - used, "If there is Light, there is Darkness and vice versa - none can live alone."

Jasmine and Yun Che looks towards him in confusion. But Jasmine's confusion was not from what he said, but the fact that he could use both Darkness and Light at the same time, which should be impossible as both of them are opposite elements.

"Well, that's all for today's lessons. Stay tuned for more." Wang Lei joked but got no reaction from them since there was a thing now called the 'world barrier'.

Sighing, he shook his head, "I will be going then."
