King Of Seven Realms

After following Su Ling'er for some time, we reached a rather old looking mountain. It was filled with long trees and greenery while its peak was big enough that it was shroud to be the clouds, making it impossible to watch the peak with 'normal' eyes.

At the base of the mountain was a big mansion, surrounded by small buildings and pavilions.

It was filled with people of different ages, mostly young. But, for some reason, it was filled with panic. I wonder why?

Probably rebellion is happening, or it still has to happen, and they are worrying about Su Ling'er as she is the princess of the clan.

Just as we close the entrance of the clan, the guard looks our way. His eyes went wide as his gaze fell upon Su Ling'er.

"Miss Ling'er is back!" his shout attracted the attention of those close to him.

Some people hearing him and looking towards Su Ling'er, rushed back into the manor. Is her father home? Maybe they went to call her?

As in original, he was looking for her. But as I said, it is not a novel anymore; you cannot accept that everything will go the same, especially after watching Alice coming back alive and the mystery around the whole Darkness.

Soon, the whole clan was informed about the return of Su Ling'er.

"Ling'er!" I heard a shout of a man. Looking in his direction, I see a middle-aged man with short black hair, which surprised me as short here was quite unique in this world.

It was as if the cultivator were allergic to it. Rarely anyone had it. Not that I am in a place to say that as I, myself, has long hair. What can I do? I like long hair.

When Su Ling'er heard the calling of a middle-aged man, her eyes teared up as she lunched towards him and directly hugs him.

"Papa!" she kept calling his name as the middle-aged man kept consoling her. He must love her a lot.

"Are you alright? They did nothing to you, right?"

By 'they', he is not talking about us but the cannon fodders. Now that I think about it, how did he knew that she was being followed by them? Shouldn't their memories be erased from the mind of everyone except those who witnessed it?

Maybe there is more to AnBai's ability. I should do more research.

"Big brother and his daughter save me! They are really strong!"

Lady! That was a joke! Can you not introduce AnBai as my daughter to everyone? I am just 18, you know.

Listening to Su Ling'er, the man looks towards us wide-eyed, face plastered with shock and confusion.

He is probably thinking how the hell I have a daughter of almost the same age as me. See, even your father is not believing it. I wonder how did she believe it so easily?

After some time, his face finally clears up as he says to us while bowing, "Thank you for saving my daughter. My name is Su Hengshan, the current leader of Grandwake Clan. Can I have the names of my daughter's benefactor?"

Too much formality. Is he in an interview or something?

"My name is Wang Lei. You can call me Wang Lei, Lei'er, or Young Noble." I said while giving AnBai a glance.

Understanding it, she does a maid like greetings. Well, nothing less from her. She, for sure, reminds of a certain white-haired demon maid. I wonder if I should take her, she really is a fun character to have by one side.

"I am AnBai, maid of master Wang Lei-sama."

Su Hengshan, hearing her nodded. It seems like he did not believe that she is my daughter.

"Please come inside. If there is anything that you require from us, then please tell us." He said to us as he makes a way for us, towards the mansion.

Smiling, I follow after him. I was going to let other Guild members or one of my girls to take over this continent under Guild too. But since I am already here, why not take it myself.

I also need a little warm-up before I go towards the Cloud's End Cliff, profound beasts there not something to take the light off.

Not that I care as they cannot kill me or hurt me… maybe as I do not know whether an attack from a Divine Master can damage my Physique as Li Qiye got hurt even after when his Physique had exceeded mine by a large margin.

As we were following Su Hengshan with happy Su Ling'er, who kept asking me a different question that I answered honestly. She looked quite cute when I said that I have a giant dragon as a pet.

Though same could not be said for her father, who is definitely thinking that I am spouting bullshit. Well, it is not his fault as dragons are quite rare here on Blue Pole Star.

"Who are they, father?"

I looked towards where the sound came from. There I see a young man, adorned with different jewels. This guy is giving me 'I am going to die by the hands of the protagonist.' feeling.

"There is the one who saves Ling'er from the bandits of Blackwood Stronghold."

To Su Hengshan's words, a slight glint of surprise passes from his eyes. Well, he is involved in this mess for sure.

He looked towards us. He stopped for a second on AnBai but seeing me narrowing my eyes, he looked towards me and bowed, "Thank you for saving my sister! If there is anything I can do for you, then be sure to tell me."

Aren't you committed? Man, it cannot be more obvious that you are involved in her kidnapping or supposed kidnapping incident.

Does he really think that it could elude my eyes? It is time to play with his pride – a thing that I like the most.

I just smile and do not say anything.

"Then can you lead them to the guest room? I will prepare a banquet for them." Hearing it, he seems to want to say something but stopped and nodded while leading us in the place of his father.

Throughout the way, I got to say I want to pluck his eyeballs out for staring at AnBai. Is he trying to be not so obvious?

"Then, please wait here. Once the feast is ready, a servant will call for you." Saying it and glancing towards AnBai for the last time, he left.

I look out of the window, towards the setting sun. "The main event will start soon. I wonder if I will find something interesting? Not that I have high hopes."
