Knight Kings : 1st Encounter

"How about you Edward? Are you alright?" she walked toward him but stopped when she saw he moved away from her.

Edward avoided her. This was the first time, wasn't it? Why in the world Edward avoided her?

"Edward?"

"Please excuse me, my lady." he walked off the house followed by Sir Fiery and his daughter.

Outside when he could move freely without hurting someone, he waved both hands and pulled out a spat of fire from them.

He raised and reduced the fire at his will. He could controlled it just fine, so why did he loose control earlier? He couldn't find the right answer.

Meanwhile, Sir Fiery and his daughter were watching him not far.

"He could control his fire element quite well. What happened back there? I can't believe he could loose control like that. He was the the best aprentice of mine. I mean he is now."

Scarlet gulped nervously and backed off slowly.

"It couldn't be..." clearly, Sir Fiery tried to make a guess and found the answer. "Scarlet..."

Before Sir Fiery finished his sentence, Scarlet cut it off cheerfully. "I will see if he's alright. See you later at dinner."

Just like that, Scarlet ran away from her father. Watching his daughter ran toward his disciple, Sir Fiery shook his head.

"My beloved daughter and my best disciple... never thought about it. But, I guess.. they seems perfectly compatible each other."

"It seems you're feeling better." called Scarlet.

"My lady.." greeted Edward. "I'm really sorry about earlier."

"It's fine. Well, I'm not really surprised though. You just received half of my energy."

"What do you mean?" at the same time, he hissed feeling a very unusually hot on his left shoulder.

He pulled down his shirt to find out what happened. There, he found a flame symbol which clearly belongs to a Knight King of Flame.

"I think this is the first time I see a symbol like that. Is that from mine?"

Hearing that, Edward looked at her with confused look. Seeing her young lady smile widely, he finally understood something.

"From now on, you are mine."

For a while he was in daze.. never though he would hear that sentence from his lady' mouth.

"Is something wrong?" Scarlet looked nervous as she waited his respond. She looked cute and sweet that way in his eyes.

Watching a pout and nervous girl in front of him, Edward tried to hold back a laughter.

"Are you laughing?"

Then Edward giggled and laugh happily. "My lady... I have been yours all this time."
