Knight Kings : 1st Encounter

"Oh? I thought you don't want me to consider you as my boss outside here, am I right here?" the person smiled at her teasingly.

The flames around Scarlet grew bigger and redder as if her hair colour changed into red.

"Oh, please Edward. I'm begging you.. stop teasing her before she wreck down this place." Sir Fred could not hold any longer watching the two quarrelled.

Edward just smiled and without fear he walked over to her and embraced her. "Alright. I think I have gone too far. I'm sorry."

As expected, the flames went out immediately and the temperature also back to normal. However, her face felt hot.

"Sir Fred, may I take her out?" asked Edward politely.

"Yeah, just go."

Edward hold her hand walked out of the room. Soon after made sure no one near them, he spoke to her softly.

"Why are you so careless? I told you to not make a perfect score each time he tested your skill. It seems you always forgetful these days."

"Why? I like my score. Moreover, my parents really proud at me. What's the problem?"

"The problem is..." Edward lowered his face slightly to whispered at her. That small action made her heart beat faster. "You are the KK of Flames. Even Sir Fred already suspects you."

"Take it easy. There's no history that say a woman could be a Knight Kings. Aren't I the first woman to be a Knight King?"

Edward raised an eyebrow and teased her, "A woman? You?"

"Do you wanna have another fight?"

He grinned, "That's why I said you are indeed still a child."

"Hmph!" she walked faster trying left him behind. But Edward caught up immediately and hold her hand once more.

They walked out together while smiling.
