Larger Than Life, Bigger Than Us

When Lily woke up, she was still semi-conscious, not sure about what had happened to her. She was lying on a simple bed in a room that had seen better days. The furnitures in the room were basic and very unfamiliar to her. She wasn't in her room, she was sure of it! How? She wasn't able to explain. Through the small window, she could see it was still night. In her state, though she noticed the window had vertical bars that obstructed the view, she couldn't make sense of it. Where was she?

Lily then tried to remember what led to this room, but beside her name she couldn't remember anything. In the corner, she could see shadows approaching and suddenly heard some voices...

" She is awakening!" screamed a feminine voice...

"Increase the dosage, we need to keep her asleep" threatened a deep masculine voice.

Lily started to panic: what were they doing to her? But before she could protest, Morpheus had already come to lay her to rest. Against her will, her eyes closed again and her breathing decreased rapidly. She was sound asleep.

"Make sure she never wakes up again!"

The man had whispered but his tone was the chilliest the female ever heard.

"Wouldn't it be easier to kill her off? It's already been 2 weeks! How long are we supposed to keep this up?"

"The master's order are to keep her alive. Who are we to question the master? If you want to stay alive, you better fulfill the mission that was given to you."

His word were sacred and didn't leave room to argue. The pressure he emitted was so intense, that even the female couldn't much beside silently agreeing. The male exited the room.

For the rest of the night, the woman quietly monitored the captive.

She was beautiful in her sleep. She had long black hair, porcelain skin, long eyelashes, pink heart shaped lips. She was still young, though no longer a teenager. 2 weeks asleep in a bed with only IV drip as nutrients had thinned her, giving her an helpless look.

The female sighed and wondered who did this lady offended to be in this state.
