Leading system

Bikash could hear screams throughout the city. The flying cars were exploding due to the fire from the attack pod thingies and were coming crashing down and causing more explosions and death.

Bikash decided to take shelter in the basement of one of the surrounding buildings. Bikash knew that this was a futuristic world but he didn't know what this world was or where exactly in this world he was.

Bikash then smashed the windows of one of the nearby building and went in. Due to his high stats, he had no problem doing so. He went inside and looked for the entrance of the basement.

Little did he know, just after he went inside the building, another faction came up in their fighter spaceships and pods and started attacking the initial attackers who were targeting the city. These were the guards of the national army of planet Elodros.

After searching for about few minutes, he found it and went inside. The basement had few tools and Bikash noticed a vague silhouette in one of the corner of the basement.

He went towards the corner. There was a boy about 16-18 years old who was holding a blade in his hand and was shivering in fear.

" I am Bikash. How about you ? ", Bikash said while reaching out his hand.

" I….I am-m Carmen. ",the boy said.

" Caren, now answer few of my questions and I will save you from all of this. No one will be able to harm you. "

" En. ",Carmen nodded.

" Tell me what this place is and everything about this world. "

" Well, This is the Palioxis galaxy. There are living beings in over 100,000 galaxies. We are on the Elodros planet. This city is called Adrodon. It is one of the ten great cities of the Elodros federation. Due to the development of space warp technology one thousand years ago, the technology is very advanced. There are no countries now. One planet is considered as one country. The ones that attacked the city are troops of neighbouring planet, Xamoid. It is 14 light years away from us. The planet's need resources and our planet is rich in them. They could do space mining but it would be much more expensive than taking over our low-tiered planet. Planet Xamoid is a mid-tiered planet. "

" Wait…wait…wait…. You said 14 light years away. How the hell do they even attack if they are so far away ? ",Bikash asked with a stunned expression. 'Even with the warp technology, isn't it too big of a distance ? ',he thought.

" The warp drives of the highest technology can warp to any point in space up to 100 light years. ",Carmen replied. Even Carmen, who was an orphan and pretty much at the lowest tier in this city was aware of this. So, he was amazed as Bikash didn't know anything. Not even a slight bit of common knowledge.

" Okay. Now to the main topic, so this whole planet is under attack. ",he said.

" En. ", Carmen nodded with a dejected expression.

" Tell me something about yourself, boy. ",he said.

Carmen had a weird expression on his face when he heard the word 'boy' but he proceeded ahead and said, " I am Carmen. You know that. I was a orphan and lived in an orphanage. I got out from the orphanage this year and I am in my final year in the local highschool. "

Carmen said this and looked towards Bikash. Bikash already knew that this was like a 'what about you ?' gaze. So, he said," I am here to rule this world. Since you're not doing anything fun, come and help me. "

Carmen was stunned when he heard this and looked at Bikash as if he was looking at an idiot. Carmen sighed while thinking, ' Tch.. Such a handsome guy… I could have gotten a harem with those looks and he has a mental disorder. What a waste… Tch.. '. ( Author notes :- No BL… Some one said BL but am not writing that gay stuff.. Sorry but as a guy, I would be grossed out if I did that..)

" Let's go. ", Bikash said while walking towards the exit of the basement. Carmen didn't want to leave this place but he knew that he was a sitting duck if he kept waiting here, so he reluctantly followed.

Just when Bikash stepped out of the building, he got a notification.

Bikash quickly checked the missions tab.

Bikash let out a 'bright' smile when he saw the mission description. But, Carmen who was near Bikash was getting chills when he looked at the smile on Bikash's face…..
