Leading system

One and a half hours after the start of the battle..

Lucas was gritting his teeth while listening to the battle reports. It seemed that about 70% of their troops had been lost till now whereas they were only able to deal with mere 5-10% of enemy troops. Be it mech riders or frigate riders or infantry troops, they were all fighting like veterans that had gone through several wars.

Lucas just couldn't think how this big of a troop had been assembled. He had thought that this was probably a group of veterans that had banded together. He would have been shocked shitless if he knew that these were just new recruits with zero experience.

The battle had ended 30 minutes after this. Lucas along with a few high ranking officers had fled after seeing that there was no hope but they were still caught and executed on spot.

Bikash had sent the warriors with less loyalty in order to test them. Over 80% loyalty meant they wouldn't betray him in normal conditions but there was still a chance. Bikash was in his office when Carmen came in to report the reports of the battle.

"We lost 8% of our troops that were here. This includes mainly infantry troops which numbered slightly over 4 thousand and the remaining consisted of about a thousand frigates and a few thousand mechs.", Carmen said.

"What is the condition in city of Vul?", Bikash asked.

"The barrier protecting the city was weak, it crumbled in a few seconds. The city will be taken ours in a few hours.", Carmen said.

Bikash thought for a bit and bought 10 advanced soldier Robots and 100 intermediate soldier robots. He made ten teams of intermediate soldier robots led by each advanced soldier robot. He also bought 10 advanced management robots. The robots were in his inventory. Bikash got up from his chair and walked out of the office and beckoned Carmen to follow.

When they reached the field, Bikash brought all the robots he had just bought. He then turned to Carmen and said," Send these soldiers to clear out any troops and also send one of your trusted aids along with these management robots to city of Vul after it is conquered. The things that had been done in this city will be done there too. Recruit people and pay out money. The money along with talent tester and loyalty tester would be sent along with these soldiers and managers."

Carmen nodded and said,"Understood. About the factories…" Carmen was unsure to how there would be factories here. All the tools in the past factories had been rendered useless so it was impossible to start the factories without new machines.

Bikash nodded and said,"I will set up new factories. The older ones will be demolished and new residential buildings will be built in their place. Prepare for the tests tomorrow and don't forget to recruit those with good managing skills into a different department. Those with the best talent will be provided with more salary and will be trained to manage planets in the future and those with slightly less than that will manage cities and factories."

Carmen nodded and left to do the preparations after hearing all of this.

Bikash hundred thousand worker robots again. He was still in the field. He brought out 10,000 of them and said,"You will be demolishing all those factories in the city's industrial area and making residential apartments at that place. All the recyclable metals are to be separated and stored outside the city."

Bikash bought various construction materials while pinpointing the location of the industrial area and the place outside the city where the recyclable metals were to be put. The worker robots started working.

Bikash then proceeded towards his office while saying to the system,"System, do you have a bike for travel purposes? "

"That's cheap.", he exclaimed.

[ Ding.. It is because this object holds less significance to host. Host would reach the places that can be reached with this bike by using your genetic body in the same time and maybe even faster than the hover bike. ]

Bikash frowned and said," Why not make the bike free, then?"

The system didn't reply. Bikash shaked his head inwardly while buying the bike and bringing it out of the inventory. Bikash got onto the bike. It was a flip-a-switch-to-ride bike. Bikash pressed the switch and the bike started levitating in the air.

Bikash then turned the accelerator and rushed to a empty space for setting up the industrial area while looking at the map of the system. Bikash found a good enough space about ten miles outside the city. This space was fairly good enough.

Bikash bought one advanced manager robot and told it to make a plan for ware houses, roads and the factories that Bikash was currently holding in his inventory. The robot told him that it would take one hour to make the plans. Bikash had already thought up something to do, so he didn't bother buying another robot to make the process faster.

"System, show me a few public transport options for the people. You know, like bus and taxis but drone operated.", he asked.

Bikash pretty much knew what they were so he bought 100 taxis and a bus station. He placed the bus station and put up bus stops at various places in the city while looking at the 3D map of the city shown by the city.

He also contacted Carmen and told him to spread the word that people could use these services to go to different places. Bikash had also put one bus stop near the industrial area so that people could easily come here to work.

In the bust station, there were 25 buses that would go from stop to another stop through out the city. The money collected by the buses and taxis as fares would be stored in the city tresurey. These were a 24-hour service as these buses were automatic and taxis were driven by robots.

Just when he was finished with it all, the management robot walked towards him while saying,"Sir, the work has been done."

Bikash could see the 3D design of the industrial area the robot had planned. He skimmed through it and was pleased. Just when he was about to tell the system to imply the design while taking out the factories from his inventory, he heard a notification from the system that made him smile.
