Legacy Of Ennea

It was 3 AM in the morning, when we saw the soldiers or Reudora Kingdom delivering a letter to the outside world. I was thinking that after this war, I will enjoy my life. But there will be a lot of war happening in the future. First against Reudora Kingdom, second against Reudora Empire which is actually looked much more powerful than the current Reudora Kingdom.

Reudora Kingdom seems to be just a small part of Reudora Empire, and Reudora Empire rules the whole world, what is actually going on, on the outside world. Do they have more technology than we have? Or do they have more people? More kind of magic? I am somehow curious about it. But, the one who curious more about outside world is, Morgan.

Morgan has been asking a lot of question to Tousan, which is not bad. But Tousan looked pretty tired sometimes. When Morgan asked too much question, Tousan always faced me, and Nathalia, Nate, also Kasan even laugh on Tousan. I will be the one that calm Morgan down.

We also take a rest in the Palace of Sky Kingdom, since it is late at night. There is a room for one of us, although it was a small room, but I feel really comfortable and I sleep like a log. Until someone wake me up...

"Nicolas-sama..." I can hear a really soft voice, a voice of an old man. He shake my body, but I turn to the other side, "Give me 5 more minute... Rueger..." I told Rueger, somehow I can feel his smile. "You are more becoming Euclio-sama lately..." Rueger said. Euclio?! Now I am totally awake, and sit on my bed. Seeing my fast reaction, he laughes.

"Jeremiel-sama has prepared the lunch for all of us..." Rueger said. "Ah, okay... Thank you..." I said but then I looked at his face... There is something wrong with his word. He keep smiling. "R-Rueger, did you just say lunch?" I asked worriedly. "Yes, Nicolas-sama, it is now 11.30 AM in the morning" Rueger said with a smile.

W-Why is it so hard to wake up early! "How about the other?" I asked and hoping that they are late either, but I got a worse answer. "They are waiting for you in the dining room..." Rueger said with a smile.

R-Rueger! Why can you still smiling when I am in trouble! I immediately wake up, and left the room with Rueger. Not running, but walking pretty fast. "Good Morning, Nicolas-sama..." A soldier greeted us as we passed. "Good Morning!" I said, and again, another soldier greeted me, and again I replied. It keep continuing, until we finally reach the door to the dining room.

Actually, when people are greeting me along the corridor, "It reminds me of Auxem..." Rueger said. Yes, that's what I about to say. I nodded in agreement. Rueger has been accompanying since I was a baby, I wonder what is his purpose. He kept saying that 'Maxwell is the best Family I can serve...' and it makes me much more confuse.

We are right now in front of the door to the dining hall. But I decided to ask him the same question. "Rueger?" I called him, as I looked behind my back. He always walk behind me. "What is it? Nicolas-sama..." Rueger asked me in confusion.

To make it clear, I do not question his loyalty so... "What will you do after the war end?" I asked him. "Hmmm..." He said as he give a thought. But it doesn't take a long time, as he said "I will continue to serve you, Nicolas-sama..." He said as he bow... Oh Rueger, "You sure you don't want to do anything beside serving me?" I asked...

"We live in the free world, I think, you should find the real purpose of life. Serving is not a purpose..." I said. Rueger showed a surprised face, thinking maybe about how m.a.t.u.r.e am I... but surprisingly, he gives me a smile... W-What's with that?! "W-What's with that?" I somehow said what within my heart.

"Serving a Maxwell is an honor... and also my choice" Rueger told me with a smile as he patted my head. He is, too kind for me, I don't even think I deserve him. But I am so grateful for having him by my side, in anytime, any moment.

"Thank you, Rueger..." I told him with a smile, "Now... let's eat..." Rueger said as we come closer to the door, and open it by ourselves.

There are not too many guards around this palace, and I can understand, since no one could come to this place without Tousan's permission. Also, you need a Pegasus to come up here, or a Gravity Magic.

When we enter the room, everyone is waiting for us. I can see every eyes are on me. "Nico! Where have you been!" Eria asked with a bit mad face. "He just woke up..." Nathalia told Eria. "That is Nico for you..." Ethan said while smiling. Now everyone become busy as I enter the room.

I looked at Tousan, also Kasan. Both of them are looking at me with a smile, I hope I am not making them waiting too long. I come closer to the table and find no empty seat for me among my friends, but I can see an empty seat between Kasan and Tousan. So I decided to sit between them. "Nico, what do you want to eat?" Kasan asked me privately, so that no one can hear. "Hmm, I guess I eat everything..." I told Kasan and she looked happy. She took my plate and put some food on it, she gives me a beef, chicken and some vegetables and put back the plate with full food in front of my eyes.

"T-Thank you, Kasan..." I said nervously, why am I so nervous?! But hearing my words, she looked surprised. Then she smiled on me, "Of course! Everything for my son!" Kasan said proudly, and I give him a smile. She is so kind, I know why she is doing things for me, like taking food for me. It is because she feel guilty for leaving me.

I remember from Tousan's flashback, when Navroth stole me from both Tousan and Kasan. They feel like they can't live without me.

"Nico... what's your next plan?" Tousan asked me out of a sudden, while we are eating. Next plan? "We were heading to Dwarven Kingdom... any suggestion?" I asked Tousan while continue eating.

"Hmm... Dwarven Kingdom..." Tousan give a thought and stop eating. "Do you plan on convincing them, or do you plan on fighting them?" Tousan asked me. Convincing them is our priority, fighting is the thing that we are avoiding right now. "Convincing..." I said to Tousan.

"Then, head for Amber. Where the King of Dwarven Kingdom live..." Tousan said without any doubt. "Don't you think that heading to the capital city is a bit too early?" Kasan asked Tousan. She looked so worried now. Tousan shook his head, "Goldrac Godarmor is a smart man, he owe us for saving his kingdom once..." Tousan told both Kasan and I.

He owe us? "What do you mean by he owe us?" I asked Tousan with confusion. Maybe our predecessor did something that saved their kingdom? I looked at Tousan and he begin his explanation. "Do you know that your Grandpa saved Beastman Kingdom?" Tousan asked me. I nodded means I know about that already.

Grandpa saved Beastman Kingdom from Navroth's control during the Great War 2. I don't know about that until Clement-tousan told me, during our time back there, in Bazo. I even saw Grandpa's statue in the capital city of Southern Beastman Kingdom. And yes, Grandpa did not only save the Southern Kingdom, but also the Northern Kingdom of Beastman.

Clement-tousan was so proud of Grandpa back then, I really miss both of them... Without realizing I am crying. I realize when my tears started to block my vision. "N-Nico?" Tousan asked me in confusion...

"A-Ah... nothing..." I said as I wiped my tears, and when I looked at the table, everyone is watching me already. "S-So..." Tousan said as he continue. He changed the topic so that I am not going to be awkward. Tousan even decided to talk with everyone else. "Fredrich Ezate" Tousan called Fredrich's name...

Fredrich looked surprised. Hmmm? What's wrong with Fredrich? Tousan looked at him and... he smiled. "It is good to see my nephew alive and well..." he told Fredrich.

I believe I displayed a stupid face, F-Fredrich? Is my cousin?! But then I remember what Maxim told me back there during our day in the Labyrinth. He told me that there is one of us here, which is a Maxwell as well, beside Ethan.

So! It is Fredrich!

"Fredrich, your grandfather, or maybe I should say my uncle, saved the Dwarven Kingdom from Navroth's hand during the Great War 2" Tousan said. All of us looked at him intensely. "Which is why..." Tousan said, "We used that reason to convince Goldrac?" Morgan asked Tousan. Tousan nodded with a smile, but...

"But..." Tousan said, all of us are still looking at him, hearing what he is going to say. "That won't be enough to convince him right?" Nathalia asked Tousan. Tousan looked surprised with Nathalia's word, but he nodded. Nathalia is always been the most cautious person in our team.

"Unlike Beastman Kingdom, they swore their loyalty to those who saved them, the Dwarven Kingdom, they only appreciate what their savior did" Tousan explained. From what I heard, Dwarven Race has the highest technology in our world. So, I believe they have big brain as well.

"So, you should go and threaten them a bit" Tousan said with a smile. And now, his face change to an evil face. "Jeremy..." Kasan reminded him. "Oh! Sorry, should we discuss it here or in the meeting room?" Tousan asked me. Why me thou? I looked at everyone else, and I can see everyone has done with their food. "Let's head to the meeting room..." Tousan said and he raised his staff.

"Huh?" I said in confusion. He hit the ground and...

All of us got hit by the light beam, really? Tousan, it is next to the Dining Room.

In an instant, we all teleported to the room next to the dining room, which is the meeting room. Seeing my unbelievable face, Kasan laughed. "He has something in his mind, so he don't want to miss anything he want to say." Kasan told me.

We are in the Throne Chamber, which is also the meeting room. Along with the 5 Protectors are summoned. I can see Tousan's orb are shining, especially the Water, Fire and Earth. And suddenly, I feel that we are being lifted up. It is Tousan's magic, and back to our initial meeting position.

I am standing on a cloud, and we are lifted high. I stand between Ethan and Nathalia with our own different ground cloud. "Why were you crying?" Nathalia asked me whisperingly, but quite loud at the same time. Ethan can hear Nathalia's question and he is interested with that as well.

"I-I was thinking about Clement-tousan, also Grandpa..." I told both of them. And now, both of them become quite. "Y-You can cry by just thinking about that? Such a cry baby..." Nathalia said and she faced away. Now, I am a bit offended.

"Ehem!" Tousan said to stop our conversation. Now, the three of us are looking at him. "Go straight and head to Amber, tell them that about Fredrich. Also, make a deal about our secret alliance, PAQ alliances" Tousan said

Now everyone looked at Tousan with unbelievable face. "What about if they disagree?" Nate asked. Tousan smiled, "Told them about Beastman Kingdom being our alliance, also all of our Ocean Kingdoms on our side..." Tousan said.

But a white tiger looked worried. And I decided to become their representative, "How about if they are loyal to Navroth? After we told them about Beastman K-" before I finished my word.

"Kill them..." Tousan said. Now, I have some doubt with it. Ethan looked at Tousan with disbelief face, also everyone else. But it seems that some of them agrees, like Eria, Rueger, Javier, Orseus, the whole 5 Protectors and even Kasan. Wait, it seems that Ed has no problem as well.

"Try to convince him, threatened him and corner him and make sure so that he will join our side. That is the mission Euclio has given to you right?" Tousan asked me. I nodded, "But no killing, I guess..." I said in hesitation. Tousan is still looking at me with a smile. "You are a kind boy, but you need to have a resolve" Tousan told specifically for me.

"Nico, try to have this point if view... if Goldrac Godarmor refuse your offer, and know about your alliance with Beastman Kingdom. What will Navroth do to the Beastman Kingdom?" Kasan asked me...

I remains silent. That is true, but killing is... "We will do it!" A boy next to me said. I looked at Ethan, and his eyes... it is full of resolve. "As long as it is for our alliance..." Ethan said, and more people agree, such as Nate, Leon and Nathalia.

"As expected from Ethan, thank you for watching my sons..." Tousan told Tousan. Kasan then talk with Tousan privately, and I looked at Tousan surprised face, and they seems to be arguing something. What are they talking about?

"What are they talking about?" Ethan asked me worriedly. "Did I say something wrong?" Ethan asked me. "N-No..." I said with doubt but, "No, you said the right thing..." Nathalia said without hesitation. And now, Ethan looked relieved.

Tousan then faced us. He looked at me this time, is something wrong with me? "Who is the leader of your party?" Tousan asked me. I don't know whether he asked me or no, but he keep looking at me.

"Ethan..." Ed said. Then Tousan looked at Ethan, "Is it okay if I filter your party, and put some of the member under my guard?" Tousan asked Ethan. Ethan give a thought about it, and I think he will reject it. When Ethan about to answer Tousan's suggestion

"Why should we leave it to you?" Nathalia asked Tousan innocently. "Hmmm, hiding in a big group will be much harder than you thought... if one has been found out, everyone will be found out soon..." Tousan said.

"Wait, is the plan to bargain?" Leon asked Tousan...

Tousan let a sigh... "Yes it is, but you will have to hide first. If you popped out of nowhere in front of the gate of the city, Navroth will hear about the news about your appearance first, before you can get to Goldrac..." Tousan explained.

"We are used to have a big group..." Ethan told Tousan, Tousan nodded in agreement. "I know, but... have you think about your Kingdom lately?" Tousan asked Ethan. Ethan's Kingdom? Perius Kingdom? What's with Perius Kingdom?

"Lerrich Ezate, Mikhael Klorze, and Clement Maxwell..." Tousan said sadly, "The three of them are dead... and the next generation are, Fredrich Ezate, Karl Klorze, and Nate Maxwell..." Tousan told all of us...

Now, I just give it a thought. All of us do play a risky game here, we should have put them on the shelter. "Along with Julian Nexum" Tousan said as he faced Julian. Yes, Julian is the lord of Maxim, he hasn't had any son or daughter to continue his reign.

Julian looked at me sorry face, and I give him a nod. I looked at Ethan, and he has been looking at me. "What do you think?" Ethan asked for my opinion. Now I am looking at Nathalia, expecting an answer but. "What? Why me? Ask Morgan of course..." Nathalia said.

Then, the three of us looked at Morgan, noticing our glance, he decided to answer... "Jeremiel-san... are we going to trouble you if we do so?" Morgan asked Tousan, and Tousan shook his head.

"No, not at all..." Tousan told Morgan. Then Morgan looked at us, means that we are agreeing with Tousan already, but... "Are you sure?" Eria asked from distance...

Am I sure about this? Of course no, we haven't been separated for quite a time. "Nico, trust us, we want the best for Perius Kingdom as well" Kasan said to me, or maybe everyone. "It may seems weird for you to have this offer but, Jeremy was the Archduke of Perius Kingdom, and he is still trying his best to protect Perius Kingdom" Kasan told all of us.

I looked at Ethan, and it seems that he has decided. I let a sigh, it seems that he has agreed with Tousan. Ethan faced Tousan and say "Yes, we will put some of our people with you, if you don't mind..." Ethan said and he continue, "But we will have a small discussion between our group, and I will tell you the result tonight" Ethan said

"That's fine, take your time in this place, we will provide anything you need" Tousan said as he nodded. "Then, the meeting is done, I will see you all tonight..." Tousan said as he lowered the ground clouds where all of us standing...

=== Ethan's Point of View ===

We are now back to our ship, since we have to meet with Rick, Lisa and Noah. They have been watching our ship for the whole time. That was Nathalia's idea, it seems that she is not a person that trust other easily.

"So, are we going?" Lisa asked us. She looked pretty bored staying in this ship. "Yes, but only some of us, I will choose some of you to stay and some will continue the mission" I said as I looked at everyone else.

We are currently having a meeting in the ship, in the living room. There are several sofas here and the area is pretty wide. I stood up with Nico and Morgan while everybody is sitting.

After I said that I will only choose several people to join me, they all looked tense. We have discussed this already, only the three of us back in the Sky Palace.

"Thos who will join our journey are myself, Nicolas, Morgan" I said and before I finished saying all of my words someone interupt me.

A girl with golden hair, and black eyes, Nathalia...

"You are the next King, I suggest you to stay here..." Nathalia told me. Noah and Ed nodded in agreement. I looked at Nico and Morgan, they are looking at me. "No, I will continue the journey since I have my father still as the King" I said

"Eria, are you in?" I asked Eria, which is currently leaning on the floor. She nodded, means she will join us.

"Lisa and Rick?" I asked both of them, they are adventurer, so they have nothing to lose. Both of them nodded.

"Precilla and Roxane?" I called both of their name, and waiting for their response. They looked at each other now, and both smiled. "We are in" Precilla said with a smile, and I give a nod.

"Rueger?" I asked, I know that he will join us even if I do not call his name, but just for making sure. "I will follow where Nicolas-sama go..." Rueger said. As I heard that name, I trully want a man like him to be by my side. How lucky Nicolas is.

"Erin and Rin?" I asked both since both of them are looking at me for quite a while, like they are about to come and jump at me. Both nodded hardly.

So, there are Me, Nicolas, Morgan, Eria, Lisa, Rick, Precilla, Roxane, Rueger, Eria and Rin... and of course, we need one more...

"Doctor Frans..." I said, but he stopped me. "Of course I will be joining you people..." Doctor Frans said with a smile. What a good man he is! "Thank you..." I said...

And that's all, but I looked at them and some of them are unsatisfied. "How about me?!" a boy with black hair, and black eyes asked me. He has the same face as Nicolas, but he is younger than him. Who else if it is not Ed.

"No, you are going to stay here with your father" I told Ed. But...

"But! He will be okay! Since they are living in the sky, no one will actually could harm them!" Ed said desperately, and he looked at Nicolas as well. But Nicolas looked away, like he do not want to see Ed anymore.

Now Ed looked more even sad. It was actually Nicolas's idea to left Ed behind.

2 hours earlier, after the meeting

"What? You are leaving Ed behind?!" I asked Nicolas, but Nicolas looked away. "Hmmm, are you sure about that?" Morgan asked Nicolas

Nicolas nodded. "Why?" I asked Nicolas, the only thing precious for Ed is Nicolas, but it seems that Nicolas is planning something.

"Ed never know the feeling of having parents!" Nico said quite loud. Now I looked at him with surprised. Both Morgan and I looked confused.

"I just want Ed to enjoy his life more, with Tousan and Kasan in this place" Nicolas said while looking at me. "I have Nicole-kasan, and Clement-tousan when I was small, you have King Ethan as your father. But Ed? He has no one..." Nicolas said

Now I feel really bad, for treating him as only a friend, not a brother. I do feel guilty now...

"Just do it! Please! I want him to relax a bit..." Nicolas said

Morgan let a sigh, and nodded, but when both of them looked at me, I ignore both of them

Back to the ship

I ignore them because...

"Okay, you may come with us" I said to Ed. Nicolas and Morgan looked at me with their jaw opened...

Ed then looks much happier, I can see his relieved face...

But Nicolas come closer to me, "E-Ethan! I told you-" before he finished his line, "No Nico..." I told him, and he stopped coming closer.

"You just don't know him very well..." I told Nico and now he looked confuse. Everyone who heard our conversation nodded as well...

Nicolas is dense... He doesn't realize how important he is to Ed, Ed do not want to lose Nico, which is why he always want to join us.

"Yes, both Ed and Nico must be together..." Precilla said as she smiling at me. I nodded as saying my thanks.

"If Ed is with you guys, I believe we should not worry about Nisan..." Nate said, well said Nate! I give him a wink, and he return one to me

Nathalia nodded in agreement. "I don't mind staying here, but Ed must join your party, I feel 5x more relieve if Ed with you..." Nathalia said as she looked at me.

Now everyone is looking at Nicolas, and he looked so speechless. "Guess, I don't mind either. We might need his [SHOCKWAVE] to intimidate Goldrac..." Morgan said

Yes! Now Morgan is also on our side. I can see Nicolas's give up face, and he opened his mouth, "Fine... but are you sure you really want to join us?" Nicolas asked Ed. And Ed nodded hardly, "Of course!" Ed said with his determination. He looked pretty happy with my decision.

"Then it is settle! Me, Morgan, Nicolas, Ed, Eria, Erin, Rin, Lisa, Rick, Precilla, Roxane, Rueger-san, and Doctor Frans will be the team, the rest of you, should stay here in this place, help Jeremiel-san" I said so that I change the topic, before Nicolas change his mind.

Everyone nodded in agreement. I create quite a ruckus there, for Nicolas. "When will we be able to meet?" Fredrich suddenly asked. Now everyone is looking at me. When? I don't know...

"After we took control over Dwarven Kingdom, we will return to the Sky Kingdom, so don't worry..." Morgan said. And everyone looked relieved.

Morgan Gavenhallen, a genius boy that has been choosen by Euclio to help us. He is indeed very useful, and the most important thing, that he is on our side. He helped us with the strategy, and he always think rationally. Although he is very smart, he has a weakness, he can't think underpressure.

"Then, that will be the end of our meeting..." I told them, and they all nodded, and start to talk with each other. Nicolas is talking with Ed privately, I guess I don't need to join them. "Ethan..." A boy come closer to me, he has golden hair, and blue eyes.

"Yes?" I responded to Leon. "Who will be leading our team here, in the Sky Kingdom..." Leon asked me. Hmmm, the most suitable leader among us is, "You..." I told Leon. And Leon moved back in surprised. "Me?!" He sounds surprised. I laughed a bit, "Yes you, I notice it since the past, that you has pretty good observation, and I will choose Nathalia as your vice, how about that?" I asked Leon

Leon looked a bit confuse, "Why not Nathalia?" Leon asked me, "Hmmm, why not Nathalia?" I asked. Nathalia is indeed smart, but I think she can't really decide what is right and what is wrong, "She is a good counselor, not a good leader" I told Leon. "And you are a prince! I want you to learn as well, not only myself" I told Leon

He then smiled at me, "W-What's with that?" I asked, that is creepy! But then he laughed, "I just remembered back then, during our days in school. We are like a big nemesis..." Leon told me. T-That is embarassing! "I was so stupid back then..." I said with embarassly

"Yes! But I am glad, that you are one of us now!" Leon told me, and I give him a smile. "Leon, you are kind, make sure you decide everything carefully. Our member's life is priority..." I told Leon.

But he looked confused... "What do you mean by 'Our member's life is priority...'?" Leon asked me, we are having a private discussion here, so I think no one is hearing us. "Just priority our team's life, do not let your self in danger, like maybe Jeremiel-san giving you an impossible, or dangerous mission..." I told Leon, then Leon looked at me in understanding.

"Okay then, I understand, you can leave it to me!" Leon said proudly, and I nodded.

Leon and I has been really close, since we left the school. I don't know why, maybe because that we both are a prince? Also, we are in the same age. And both of us understand the situation quite fast, along with Nathalia. Nico was so dense back then, but the current Nico is much better, maybe since Euclio left him? Let's just say that Euclio did the right thing.

After I finish my conversation with Leon, another boy come closer. "Ethan-sama..." A boy blonde hair and black eyes called me. "What is it, Noah?" I asked Noah.

"Are you sure, you are going to be okay without me?" Noah asked me, and I let a sigh. "Everything is fine Noah, and you should call me with my name! Ethan only! We are all friends!" I told Noah, but he shook his head. "That would be very impolite" Noah said while smiling.

He is annoying, but he know it. We have been together since we are small, but not as close as I am with Ed. But Noah is a good person, I know it.

"Thank you for helping me this far..." I told Noah, and now, Noah looked confuse. "You should not say something like that, tell me later when you return... Ethan..." Noah said with a smile. And I am surprised! He never call me with only my name! Ever!

"I will return! With everyone else! And Dwarven Kingdom in our hand!" I told Noah, and he gives me a smile, "I know that I can entrust the future to you... I trust you with all of my heart..." Noah said and "T-Thank you?" I said as a reply, and now it become awkward and both of us laughed.

=== Nicolas's Point of View ===

So, finally Ed is joining us. I let a sigh, after Ethan's last information, about choosing Leon as the leader for the team which is staying in Sky Kingdom, and Nathalia as the Co-Leader.

Leon as a leader is not bad at all, he is pretty talented in commanding, at least better than Nate. But why not Nathalia? I think Nathalia is pretty smart either. But let's leave it to Ethan, he always choose the right person.

"Nico! We are together again!" A white wolf come closer and hug me... "R-Rin! We are always together you know!" I told him. And he is still hugging me, this white wolf is very hot! But since the weather is pretty cold, I do not mind. Then a boy come closer as well.

"Nisan..." he said. "Nate?" I called his name. He looked sad, "This isn't farewell... we will meet again..." I told Nate, and I can see a slight smile on his face. "We will..." Nate said.

"When are you going to depart?" Nathalia asked behind my back, she looked used to it... about me leaving them. "Hmmm, I guess tonight... since it might take some times to convince the Dwarven King..." I told Nathalia and she smiled.

"Good..." Nathalia said with satisfied face, Good? "Good?" Nate and Rin in unison. Nathalia nodded, "So they will return earlier, right? Nisan?" Nathalia asked me with a smile. I return the smile and nodded, she is indeed the most m.a.t.u.r.e between us, Nate, Ed and I. "Of course! Don't worry about me, just keep training Nate!" I told Nate, since he is the most worried guy here...

We finally return to the palace with everybody else. And it took almost an hour for us to reach the third layer. "Tousan... you should allow people to use Pegasus!" I told Tousan after we finally meet him. We are currently in the throne chamber, and he can only smile awkwardly. What a useless dad.

"So, have you decided?" Kasan asked me. And I nodded, I face Ethan, and he nodded in understand. "Nate, Nathalia, Karl, Fredrich, Julian, Leon, and Javier will be staying in this place..." Ethan told Kasan, and Kasan nodded in understanding. "All right, you can leave it to us, and when will you leave?" Kasan asked.

"After this meeting..." I told Kasan, and now she and Tousan displayed a surprised face. "A-Are you being too hurry?" Tousan asked me. "Hmmm, there are a lot of things to do... so we will be leaving earlier, and return earlier as well" I told Tousan, he looked at me with a smile.

"Okay, but let me tell you everything I know about Dwarven Kingdom..." Tousan told all of us, and we are listening to him carefully.

"There are five cities in Dwarven Kingdom..." Tousan told us, "Each city has their own specialty, such as Amber, the City of Armor. They craft the best armor in the entire world, you got one on your birthday right?" Tousan asked me. And now I am surprised."We have been watching you..." Kasan said as she looked my surprised face.

"Also, the City of Armor, or Amber is ruled by Goldrac Godarmor, the Dwarven King" Tousan explained.

"There are also, City of Trident, ruled by Reval Tridental. The city name is Moream and they forged the best Trident I ever know" Tousan explained. "Reval Tridental is a man that has a good relation with the Ocean Kingdoms, he is wise and he is a mage." Tousan continued.

"But why did he agree to attack Ocean Kingdom?" Morgan asked Tousan. They did attack Qiteron Kingdom by poisoning the water, but they failed, since Garasol Kingdom help Qiteron Kingdom.

Tousan smiled and he looked proud of Morgan, "It is because the King for sure, no matter what a feudal lord think, they must follow their leader, their king" Tousan said as he explained. It may seems weird for most of Ocean Kingdom, including Gavenhallen Kingdom.

Morgan come from Gavenhallen Kingdom, and he is the heir for the throne of Gavenhallen Kingdom. Gavenhallen Kingdom has no feudal lord, so they only has one ruler, which is currently Morgan's father, Metiu Gavenhallen.

Gavenhallen is the Kingdom that stand for Virtue, they stand for Justice, looking at Morgan's sister, Marie Gavenhallen, I can she is trully the daughter of Metiu Gavenhallen, but Morgan, the think much more rationally.

"The next one is City of Sword, Zandred. It is currently ruled by Aulnoc Swordsmith, he is the best swordsmith around the world" Tousan explained. "Oh! I know him!" Leon said happily, Tousan nodded, "It is because they have a good relation with Dragon Kingdom, most of your soldier's equipment are crafted by the dwarves, and which is why Human Kingdom had lower quality, compared to Dragon Kingdom's equipment" Tousan explained.

Now, I just realize, why the Aerios Kingdom has the best soldier. They are equipped with the best weapon, crafted by the dwarfs

"How about Perius Kingdom?" Ethan asked Tousan. Tousan give him a smile, "Human create their own weapon, which is why we have the least relationship compared to other kingdom" Tousan explained to all of us.

"Now, the City of Spear, Thazum, the feudal lord that rule the land is Rodrick Fisherman" Tousan explained, but now Leon looked confused. Tousan laughed, "That name is uncommon for you, since your kingdom do not use spear to fight isn't it?" Tousan asked Leon. Leon nodded, "It is, Tensei Sect believe that Spear is a weapon for the evil." Leon said as he looked at Nate, and Nate looked a bit offended.

"I am not evil!" Nate declared himself, and Leon laughed. "Yeah, Yeah, not you... You are an exception..." Leon said while holding Nate's shoulder, and Nate is laughing as well.

Seeing both of them, I remember Euclio. What take him so long!

"Oh! There is another thing you have to know about Rodrick and Aulnoc..." Tousan told all of us. "First, both of them are hating each other..." Tousan told us. Now all of us looked confuse, "Why?" Morgan asked.

"Both of them are always debating about which one stronger, sword or spear" Tousan told us. Now I can imagine two dwarfs are fighting each other because only they have different opinion.

"Which one is stronger?" Ethan asked.

"Spear..." Nate said

"Sword..." Leon said

Now all of us are looking at them... and laughed. They do share their own friendship. Nate is a spear-wielder, of course he will say that spear is stronger. While Leon is a sword-wielder.

"Next! To the last city, City of Hammer, Dunok. Rule by Jouvan Hammerock." Tousan said, and everyone shows a face like they know who he is.

I looked at Ed, and he looks like he know him. "Nisan, you looked confuse..." Nathalia said as she looked at me.

"Y-You know him?!" I asked her, and now everyone is looking at me. Even Tousan close his face with his hand!

T-Tousan! Don't you ever dare to leave me again!

"He is the strongest dwarf, and he is comparable to Goldrac itself..." Ethan explained. Everyone nodded while looking at me, hey! Stop judging me!

"Do you know a story, about how Goldrac become a king?" Ed asked me and I shook my head. Seeing that everyone looked at me with desperate eyes...

"W-Why are you so desperate?!" I asked... "Like we have learn about that in school..." I continue. But, "We actually learn about that in our first year..." Karl told me with a smile, "Also, that is a common knowledge! Even I know the story without entering the school!" Rick said proudly to me.

Tousan let a sigh, seeing his son do not know anything, "So, in the past... Goldrac was known for his Armor smithing, and he was the best... while Jouvan was known for his Hammer smithing" Tousan explained

"Hammer is the symbol of dwarven kingdom, and it is actually the weapon that most dwarf are using" Tousan explained.

"Both of them are the most powerful person in the Dwarven Continent, until Goldrac become the one" Tousan explained.

"How?" I asked Tousan, he then say "Smithing Competition..." Tousan said. Everyone nodded, and I looked at him speechlessly, "Did Jouvan lose?" I asked Tousan... He nodded, "Goldrac win the competition, since Jouvan's hammer was not able to destroy Goldrac's armor..." Tousan explained...

"Wow..." I said in my amazement, that was really, a dwarf competition.

"And from that moment, Goldrac was appointed as the ruler of Dwarven Kingdom..." Tousan explained

That is a weird way to select a leader... as expected from a dwarf. So, this Goldrac Godarmor must be really skillful

"I am a big fans of Jouvan..." Nathalia said...

"Yeah! I want to meet him!" Erin said happily...

"Jouvan should be the king!" Ethan complained, and so does Leon agreed.

"That Goldrac was cheating right?" Leon asked Ethan and he nodded.

"He did?!" Precilla asked Ethan and Ethan nodded once more...

"But Jouvan do not want to create a ruckus among the dwarfs, so he give up his chance for being a king... what a good man..." Ethan explained...

I see, so this Jouvan is a good person. "Nicolas... that might be a good decision, for us to head for Dunok, and meet this Jouvan!" Eria said to me.

T-That would be a great idea!

I looked at Morgan, not only me, but everyone else... Morgan then shook his head, "That would be the second option, if we fail on Plan A..." Morgan said

"W-Why is that?" I asked, but Tousan nodded in agreement. "Nico, Ethan told you already, about Jouvan do not want to create a ruckus among the dwarfs. That is exactly why, Jouvan is our second priority. It would be hard for us to make him against Goldrac" Tousan explained it to me. And Morgan nodded in agreement.

I-I see... both Morgan and Tousan sure had a very good observation. "Then, we should stick to plan A, convince or even threaten Goldrac" Tousan said. "We can even use Jouvan to threaten Goldrac..." Morgan told Tousan, and Tousan approved that.

I know that Morgan is smart, but Tousan... Tousan is pretty smart, "Tousan is pretty smart..." I said it out of a sudden. And Tousan hit me with his staff on his hand...

"I am smart!" Tousan told me a bit offended. And I laughed seeing his face. Even Rueger laughed seeing that.

"That's all, you all should return to this place safely... remember rule number 1..." Tousan said while looking at me. Rule number 1? What is rule number 1? "The first important thing is your own life" Erin, Rin, Lisa, and Rick said in unison...

T-That rule! I then remembered about those rule

"Second important thing?" Kasan asked while smiling, "Is your party member's life..." Again, Erin, Rin, Lisa and Rick said in unison, "And finally..." Tousan said while smiling... "The mission..." the four of them said once more in unison. Now my face become red.

"Whose words is that?" Nathalia asked Tousan...

"Those are a golden word..." Nate said in amazement...

Tousan, Kasan, Erin, Rin, Lisa and Rick laughed, but I am still hiding my face...

"Those are Nico's word..." Tousan said to Nathalia. And everyone inside the room looked at me with unbelieveable face...

"W-What's with your face!" I said to Nathalia since she looked at me with her annoying face, everyone laughed.

And after the meeting, we decided to end the meeting, and Me, Ethan, Morgan, Ed, Eria, Precilla, Roxane, Lisa, Rick, Rin, Erin, Rueger and Doctor Frans head to the ship.
