Chapter 94: Terror Forest

“Big brother, this is the Terror Forest on the map?  It doesn’t seem as terrifying as its name.”  Looking at the quiet forest, Feng Xiao was a bit surprised.  After all, she had only ever seen this kind of forest on TV before in real life.

“Danger!”

Feng Xiao suddenly stopped and also pulled back on Feng Yao.

“There is a very deep swamp three steps ahead, it’ll be hard to get out if you fall in!”  Xuanyuan Wan’er reminded.

“Wan’er, how did you know?”

“Because there are several cruel tree demons.  Once you and big sister Feng fall in, they will choke you with their vines!”

Weakness: Fears fire, Fire Resistance -50%.  Unable to move.

Skills:

Heartless Vine: Sends out vines to bind and strange enemies, has an attack range of five meters.

Blooming Leaves: Recovers 1000 HP.

Feng Xiao gave a cold snort he softly patted Feng Yao’s hand, “Stay here without moving.”

Without waiting for Feng Yao to make a move, Feng Xiao had already charged forward.  He jumped over the swamp when Xuanyuan Wan’er called out.

Feng Xiao laughed as his body strangely floated in the air, moving as his original speed at the Tree Demon.  At the same time, countless black vines came out at him.

With a “Dragon Flame Slash”, the vines were quickly burned away.  The flames went from the vines to the Tree Demon, leaving countless red damage figures.

The flames’ “burning” effect worked quite well on the Tree Demons, as each Tree Demon lost 500 HP per second from the burning state.  They could only go all out in recovering their HP and couldn’t attack at all.

“Big brother!”

A surprised cry came from behind him and Feng Xiao quickly turned around.  He was surprised to find over ten red bats with strange fangs surrounding Feng Yao, preparing to attack.

Blood Sucking Bats: Level 35

HP: 1500

A bat that sucks blood.  It has very strong poison in its sharp fangs.

Weakness: Has low HP and defense.

Skills:

Blood Sucking Fang: Turns 50% of damage in HP.

Sound Wave Attack: Releases sound to attack enemies.  Has a 30% chance of causing a 2-3 second stunned state.

Feng Xiao didn’t move and sent out a “Returning Slash”.  He only had one ranged attack skill.

The Returning Slash killed two bats in the air, causing the others to go crazy.  They revealed their dimly glowing fangs and attacked Feng Yao.

The bats were very quick and they were already in front of Feng Yao when she took out her Fuxi Zither.

Most of the attacks landed on Feng Xiao who appeared in front of Feng Yao with the “Infinite Space Gate”, but two bats from behind hit Feng Yao, dealing 600 points of damage to her.

“Hu…..”  Feng Xiao let out a sigh of relief as he quickly used the Ice Shattering Slash to attack them, while giving Feng Yao a thumbs up, “Yao’er, very good.”

For airborne monsters, other than magicians and archers, other jobs had a headache dealing with them because Jobs without ranged attacks could only wait for their targets to approach before attacking.  As for a monster that could attack from the sky, they had no way to deal with them at all.

Unless they could get a ranged skill.

As his voice fell, there was a black patch that came from in front.  It came closer and closer to them as it made a “weng, weng” sound.

“Damn, these mosquitoes wouldn’t be thinking of attacking, right?”  Feng Xiao looked at his body tightly covered in armour and his lips curled into a disdainful grin.

“Big brother Feng, quickly escape!”

Feng Xiao was stunned as he quickly opened his heavenly eyes.

Blood Sucking Poison Mosquito: Level 35

HP: 500

It seems normal, but has a powerful attack.  They are the merciless killers hidden in the dark.  They normally move in groups and all monsters who meet them would avoid them.

Weakness: Low HP, fears all magic attacks.

Innate Skill: Grouping, Dark Vision.

Skills:

Sucking Blood: Deals a set 300 damage to opponents and converts it to the user’s HP.

“What!”  Feng Xiao was stunned.  These Poison Mosquitoes who looked no different from a normal group of mosquitoes was actually this terrifying.  There were at least several thousand of them, so a person would die over eighty times being bitten by them.
